Eleni Apartments

Just returned from the eleni apartments. Had a great time, host was there whenever you needed them. The towels in the apartments could have been changed more often but that wasnt a problem.15 min walk into sidari so it was very quiet,great for a good nights sleep. We will defo be going back there soon.

we came to Eleni apartments on our honeymoon and this was the first time we had been there. we will definitely be coming back and would bring our children with a doubt. they are the most friendly and welcoming hosts we have ever had on a holiday. the food was lovely and very reasonably priced overall this was the best holiday we have had.

Very pleased with our accommodation. We had two double bedrooms, kitchen/diner, bathroom and one large balcony overlooking the pool. The cot was beautifully made up and very clean. Jimmy and his wife were very friendly and accommodating (the cleaner was asked not to clean our apartment between 11 and 1pm as our little boy had his naps then). The pool was beautifully kept and not too chloriney - perfect for the children. Nice food - wide selection and up to date movies were shown most evenings. Sidari beach took about 15-20 mins for us to walk to, so we did hire a car so we could expore some other beaches and the waterpark (expensive to get into Aqualand). Would highly recommend.

i'm not 4 hours off the plane after visiting the Eleni with my daughter and cant wait to go back, being the first time taking my daughter on my own abroad, i was nervous about what to expect, i needn't be. We had an absoloutly fantastic time. The appartments were spot on for what we needed, the pool was spotless and the service from everyone was warm and welcoming, i wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place for a holiday and will see Jimmy and everyone the same time next year.

I have just enjoted a fabulous holiday with my sister inlaw at the Eleni appartments. The studio we stayed had everything you needed and was cleaned 6 days a week. The pool was a good size and I could wallow in my rubber ring without being splashed to my hearts content. There were plenty of sunbeds with large umberellas if you wanted to be in the shade. The texas bar was welcoming if you wanted a resonably priced drink or a meal, though of a night it was a bit quite. The family who run the hotel were friendly and polite. It took about 15 to 20 minutes get to the beach and main town which is situated on one main road. There are several tavernas you pass on the way which serve exellent food and bars where you can get a beer for 1.5 to 3 euros. The Salt & Pepper taverna served excellent food and thier greek night was very good. The beach was ok for children but if like me you like to have a swim and not a paddle you had to walk out a long way before it got past your waist. Entertainment in the town was based on tribute acts like, Freddy Mercury, Michael Jackson etc. and a drag act called Lady Jane was brilliant. Thank-you to the family at Elini for a wonderful relaxing holiday.

Just returned from Eleni Apartments in Sidari. The complex is a family run business with about 22 apartments situated around the pool. It is very clean and very friendly. It is about a 15 minute walk to Sidari Town where there are number of bars, restaurant and a lively nightlife. It also has a very sandy beach. The only downside to this place is the mosquitos - take a spray with you. If you are self-catering remember the big supermarkets don't open on Sundays. Also the tour companies on the street are much, much cheaper than the travel company excursions, so shop around.
All in all I would definitely go back again. Very good place to stay and the weather was good too - 112c!!!!!!!!!!!!

first I,d like to say about the Eleni apartments is the I,m glad I never let the bad reviews stop me from booking holiday. my comments are all positive on this place... good food (large choice aswell) always had hot water when using shower, maid service 6 days a week, and a realy good size pool with plenty of sunbeds. We found the owners polite at all times, and spoke better english than some of the guests. As for the resort, good beaches
(3 in a row) very shallow water ideal for kids. Not a lot at Eleni for kids the pool does have a shallow end but the films at night were a bit adult (12 rating) its no more than a 15 min walk to town center which like other reviews state makes it peacefull in the evenings.

we have just returned from corfu after a weeks holiday. and the eleni apartments are billiant the owners are lovely and are really friendly. the greek night was brilliant we really enjoyed it and for saying me and my fella are 21 and didnt think we would it was fab we all joinded in and the food was geourges . the dancers were good to. jimmy the owners son is lovely hes do helpfull and kind and will go out of his way to make sure you are ok and enjoying your stay. food there was brill we had lots to eat there and ddint once get an upset belly. the rooms were cleaned 6 days out of 7 and were basic but you have everything you need even a hairdryer which is a bonus for us girls lol. i would definately recommend the eleni to any age. people were great owners great location was good. we were really near 10 minutes walk to all the bars n resturants. however the weather wasnt so great it rained alot till lunch time but then heated up in the afternoon. there isnt alot of nighlife for the younger people looking for clubs etc there was 2 in sidari and only 1 was open and it didnt get busy until 2am but is open until 8am with good music. also there was alot of stray animals :( and we saw 3 ran over cats in 4 days which was upsetting they just run into them over there they dont really care i dont think. beach was nice with water sports. and we recommend mickys bar and the drag queen lady jane there was wicked such a laugh we went twice and the show was different each time definately worth seeing :) food there was brill to . all in all i recommend the eleni apartments and sidari if you just want to chill out and relax..

My friend & I stayed in the Eleni Apartments for 2 weeks & really enjoyed our stay. Only a 10 minute walk into Sidari where all of the bars are (which is what we went there for!) & there are lots of Tavernas & restaurants along the way.
Eleni Apartments are set back from the main road so it's nice & peaceful. The grounds & pool area are kept very clean as are the apartments. Food is served all day in the Texas Bar & the menu has a good variety - the Texas Burger is highly recommended!
There's plenty of room in the apartments & they're very well equiped, ours had a hairdryer, tv, toaster & kettle (have stayed in some apartments where there wasn't even a kettle).
Not sure why people complain about the owners/staff - we thought they were lovely!

the hotel is basic, a film on at 9pm each night apart from once a week when they have a singer on. rooms are cleaned 6 days a week. food basic. pool a great size. the walk into the main strip takes about 20 minutes..no footapths half of the way but there are some great bars and restaurants to stop at along the way. sidari beach is amazing and lovely views from the canal d amour,go to paleokastritsas if you can its beautifull and so is the trip to belle vistas..we booked our trips with phillip down on the main strip in sidari..a quarter of what you pay with the reps !!.food excellent in ALL restaurants.we met some lovely people there and ty to willow and mick who made our 2nd week great fun..
sidari is a beautifull place to visit and the trips are more than worth the money.
we stayed at eleni as a base only...and its that kind of place where you can chill out after a long day in the sun as theres not much happening there at the complex.
