my wife and i went to icmeler and stayed at the navy hotel, food was good, clean towels every day, staff were good and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. located very close to beach, shops and resturants. Night life is very entertaining. If going to icmeler you must try the elvis bar as there is very good entertainment and also drinks at reasonable prices. Ask for Jim Carrey (MR Elvis) , he will look after you, lol. I would recomend it to any one wishing to go to turkey...

We stayed at this hotel in Aug 2007.
The hotel is basic but very clean and friendly.
The pool is very small but found you did not need the pool as the beach is just down the road, and all the lads on the beach could not do enough for you to keep you happy all day!
This is a lovely resort and we are definitely going back and staying at The Navy.
P.S. Try the restaurants along the front they are lovely.

Me and my man samways went on a holiday to the navy last june what can I say it was........Siiikkkkk!!!
We were buzzin all day jumping into the pool head first which was jokes . The hotel rooms were sik with air con really good and the beds smoffed. The bar staff at the hotel were safe too and couldnt do enough to help you . The nightlife in icmeler was MOFFIT and everyone young tends to go for a bevvy round there then head off into marmaris which is full on buzzin. The only thing that lets some of the clubs down is the lack of speedy G or 4 x 4 Basslineeeeeeeeeee. We are going back next year an its goin to be even more jokes than before!!!!!!

Oi this was a full on sick n safe holiday! Went to brean with some next mans, but this was even better enit. We went half board but i was too smoffed to get up, hor hor jokes! so we ended up jus eating out n avin a munch in the afternoon. Went to marmaris on most nights because it was buzzing enit with some tunages in some clubs. The bar at the hotel was kind of sick you know, and its a good idea to have a few drinkypoos in there before you go out for the night. The rooms were class and it was nice to go in there after being in the sun because the air con made it coolage. The staff at the hotel were safe and the whole holiday couldn't have been much better. Deffo going back next year, Easssy!!

My husband and myself have recently returned from a holiday in Icmeler in Turkey.
We had a wonderful holiday and really enjoyed staying at the Navy Hotel, the staff were lovely, very friendly and anything we requested was fulfilled straight away.
The Hotel was absolutely spotless, was cleaned and had clean towels daily. The Four seasons restaurant next door is run by English and Turkish people and despite their best efforts are off the beaten track and not attracting the passing trade, please give them a try as they are really friendly and willing to please.
The only downside of our holiday was the taxi transfer company who did not turn up at the airport when we arrived and instead of the TAXI booked and paid for, to take us for our return trip to the airport, they sent a SHUTTLE BUS which took 2 hours to get us to the airport.

I have just returned from a three week holiday to Turkey. My husband and I stayed at The Navy Hotel in Icmeler. In a word OUTSTANDING. We could not get over the friendliness of all the staff here, the rooms were cleaned to perfection everyday.
We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis this was a buffet style breakfast but the chef was their to cook omelettes and boiled or fried eggs at your request, the food was wonderful. There is a lovely pool and a wonderful bar area, what a place to chill out in after a hard days sunbathing. If you are travelling to Icmeler in Turkey, we can highly recommend The Navy Hotel to stay in. You will have a wonderful time there.

I really enjoyed my stay at the navy hotel although the rooms were basic they were clean. The staff were very friendly.
The best two things about this hotel are its location and the fact that it is next door but one to the four seasons restaurant (this serves the best food I have ever had anywhere abroad or at home and is a must).
I will definitely go back to this hotel but would ask for the new block

Have been in Icmeler 11 times and this is the first I have stayed in The Navy. Fantastic location, near beach and shops.
Hotel is spotless, clean sheets and towels every day. We stayed half board, a lot of the food was Turkish and fantastic, the chef took all feedback on board and even made our favourites! My only complaint was the bathrooms were very small and the shower cubicle tiny, but that is a very small complaint. The hotel has a nice pool area and there were always plenty beds.
The hotel bar was great and was set in beautiful gardens. All of the staff were good and could not do enough for you, they all went out of there way to talk to you. I would go back in a minute.

We would just like to highly recommend the navy hotel .my husband and myself have been going there for the past 3 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. We have always found the staff courteous, helpful, happy and friendly, we have always had a good laugh with them.
The rooms are always clean as is the pool which is crystal clear and the surrounding areas are the same. The food is not bad at all in the hotel as we always go b&b and occasionally we had a meal in the hotel and it was always lovely. It is reasonably priced for a 3 star hotel, if you would rather eat out there is only 1 restaurant we go to regularly and that is Charley’s which is a stones throw away from the hotel itself, there is also a lovely fish & chip shop which is located behind the hotel.
When we went on holiday there in 2004 it was our first time in turkey and we loved it, we stayed for 2 weeks that year but 2005 we stayed for 3 weeks and absolutely loved every minute of it, hence we are all booked up for 3 weeks in 2006 to and we really can’t wait.
We love the place, the hotel, and the staff, and most of all the people, what more could you ask for in a holiday. It was magic. I hope the staff and managers get to read these reviews as we would like to say to them a very big thank you, you guys make our holiday a dream.

When we first checked in I thought we got the worst room in the hotel but we said something to the rep and we got to change rooms the next day.
In the food there wasn’t a lot of choice at breakfast but for the evening meal there was plenty. It’s a really friendly atmosphere and parish the young lad behind the bar was really friendly and funny perhaps a little too friendly with my sister.
The staff will try and do anything to please you for example I came back with my friend and wanted to have a swim but it was about 1 in the morning but I went in with my friend (Tommy) and had a swim the manager came out and asked if we wanted the pool lights on.
There is no evening entertainment but the staff are always up to little tricks and love the attention. Me and my family will definitely be going back but next time we will go self catering.

I spent two weeks at the Hotel Navy with some friends and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
The staff were eager to please and always polite. In my two week stay I cannot remember seeing any member of staff without a smile on their face.
The rooms, pool and restaurant area were extremely clean and tidy. As for the cleaning staff they were really nice and friendly.
The food may not be up to some people’s high standards but was adequate for my needs. Also there were places to eat out nearby.
I appreciated the fact that the hotel did not have entertainment as there are many places to visit in Icmeler and you could enjoy a quiet drink in the bar.
I will definitely be returning to the Hotel Navy again.

The Hotel Navy in Icmeler is supposed to be an all inclusive hotel, the food was diabolical at all meal times, there is no choice, they serve you what is on offer that evening, there is however a salad bar, (this is what is left over from breakfast), and puddings which consist of extremely soggy Victoria sandwich or chocolate pudding with a crust on. The hotel itself is very clean, unfortunately as the air conditioning card is attached to the hotel room key you have to leave it switched off, your room is unbearable hot in the evening and takes hours to cool down. There are restaurants and cafe bars all around the hotel which is a good thing as you need to eat out for most meals, the hotel does have a snack bar which is not part of the All Inclusive and they make really good food. The bar staff at the hotel are very rude and are constantly upsetting guest, one guest was given a surprise drink (which her daughters where buying but couldn’t decide what to get her) that the bar staff choose, it cost 40 million lire (approx 24 euro), they didn’t know if the surprise was the drink or the cost, that was there second night, the parents refuse to ever drink there again, thus having to leave the girls alone every night. We found out that when you have to eat out every night then return to the hotel after 11pm the bar staff are really very nice, but after 11pm you have to pay for drinks, maybe this is the reason.
The showers in the hotel trickle water out, it is impossible for a family of 4 to have a shower, the kids can sit on the floor and have the tap from the shower running, other than that you can use the shower by the pool, well at lease to wash you hair, then have a wash in the sink. (don’t complain in this hotel, they will not listen)
The swimming pool in the hotel is a joke, it is appox. 10 metres x 4 metres, it is so dirty you cannot see your own feet in it, but unfortunately it is the only source of entertainment for the kids, one good thing is you can always get a sun bed, even though your kids end up the sores around there mouths, they must vacate the swimming pool by 6pm or staff threaten them, telling the kids they will put chemicals in the pool if they don’t get out (6pm it is 30 degrees still), I don’t know what chemicals they use but is doesn’t clean the pool.
This hotel was rated 3* when I booked it, but unknown to me this is the first year the Hotel Navy where All Inc., I don’t expect much but bingo, quiz nights, kiddie disco, some kind of entertainment that doesn’t cost much to do, this hotel provided nothing. I do need to say that if your parents or a parent with kids on a budget this is not the hotel for you, there are some lovely hotels in Icmeler that are only 3* and provide tasty healthy buffet food (edible at least) and have very friendly staff.
Apparently in the brochure it does state that when you check out of you rooms you also check out of the All Inc. So if your flight is not till late evening and you still think your drinks are All Inc. Beware you will get a bill, (this as never happen to me before). Fortunately for us we met some great people on holiday and we had a great laugh telling each other about the things that where happening to each of us in the hotel, in this hotel you have to or you will cry, trust me, in July it is no use trying to find another hotel they are all full.
Icmeler is a beautiful place the beaches are lovely, there are loads of restaurants and cafe bars selling really nice food, there is entertainment in the bars/restaurants and they are really friendly. Only beware if you haven’t been to Turkey before the men are over friendly with the kids, they constantly touch them, kiss them, for the kids this is not nice they are not use to this kind of behaviour. They are only being nice but my kids where offended by it.. Icmeler I would recommend to anyone. The hotel, 3* B & B, never an All Inc.
