I went to Hotel Navy in 2010 and again this year.... Change of waiting and bar staff this year which is a good thing as they were far more friendly {hello Lucas and Anton} very good standard of accomodation {basic but very clean} good meals and the pool although quite small was very clean and I never had problem getting a sun-bed although it was August and very busy. Hotel not far from the beach {hello to boy's at Yakamoz Beach Bar} just down the street from Hotel... Hotel is right in the centre of the resort although you wouldn't know it cos it's a haven of quiet :-) and the garden bar is a good place to spend you're time if you want a quiet drink before hitting the other bars or to finish off the night ;-) all in all I recommend this hotel for all agaes and am seriously considering it again for next year :-)
- Advice: go to the Dream 3 Bells around the corner..good waiter show -dancing etc

Stayed at the Navy hotel in July this year for 2 fabulous weeks and would definately go back. Pool are surrounding area was spotless with adequate sunbeds. Rooms were kept clean and tidy and the maids even had fun with our towels etc, leaving little "surprises" on our beds which made us laugh. Lucas, the barman, was lots of fun and all members of staff were friendly and happy to assist when they could. Hotel is ideally situated for the beach (2 mins walk) and the bar next door (Romeo and Juliet)is one of the friendlist had the nicest staff. When I return to Icmeler I will be hoping to book at the Navy again - without a doubt!
- Advice: Ideal location for beach, bars and shopping

we loved this hotel. it is our second time been there. the staff were so friendy. the rooms were cleaned every with fresh towels set out a bit like the egyptions do.
we ate in a lot of diferent cafes and the food was great,BUT on our last night we had a meal at the Manderin cafe,my husband had the chicken curry,i had oinion steak.
my husband didn't like the taste of his curry so he didn't eat much but on the way back to our hotel room he was viontly sick and had the runs. cutting a long story short he is now in hospital back home and tests showed that he had sallomela.
he is on the mend but i would not recomend the maderin cafe.

The Navy Hotel is situated in a great location, close to the beach but also friendly bars and restaurants. The Navy itself has a good atmosphere - the food is tasty, and everything is reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed most of our 2 week stay there, very clean, tidy and relaxing place.
HOWEVER...
the cleaning staff STOLE a lot of my friends and I's underwear, make-up and some jewlerry - things you would think to put in a safe box or would necessarily fit. We were quite upset by this, but the receptionist said there was nothing they could do about it. so WATCH what you leave out - even if its everyday stuff and not worth that much money!!! very disappointed with this aspect of our stay at the navy.
The pool is also quite small and can get crowded, and the loud music playing all the time especially round the pool is not to everyones taste. if you want a music free environment ead to the beach! sunbed's are cheap and readily available.
- Advice: Great place, with av ery friendly atmostphere, Would definitly go back to Icmeler.

This was out first time in Turkey and i thought it was great. The Navy Hotel was a small but nice hotel, the breakfast was basic but the dinners were lovely! The lunch during the day were massive and cheap; 6.50 tl for a chicken baguette, chips and salad. There were few sunbeds which was not too good but that can be expected as the pool area is quite small. The cleaners were nice although one day they left flowers on our beds and we came back to find ants all over the beds, other then that the rooms were kept clean everyday. The aircon was great, it was so powerfull that i was freezing during the night which was supprising considering how hot Turkey was. The beach which is a 5 minute walk was also lovely with loads of sunbeds and lots of watersports. You will be offerd boat trips and lots of excursions on the beach too. On a Wednesday the night life was fun at the Navy with bellydancers and other turkish dancers. The night life was much better then expected. There were good bars and plenty of resturants with a nice choice. I would reccomend Majestic which is just by the cannal which sell lovely english jacket potatos. All in all we had a realy nice holiday at the hotel; friendly staff, nice pool and nice food.

we went to the navy june/july this year 2009. I will try and keep this short because you will no doubt read other reviews. The hotel is very clean and tidy, so are all the rooms, ALL stall are brill they are so friendly we have been to this hotel about 4 times but been to turkey 8 times we love this hotel it is central to everything only about two streets away from the beach please dont be rude to the staff! in my time there i have heard some people speak to them quite badly they are there doing a job they are not paid very much for, but they will give you 150%.the pool is big enough and has quite a few loungers just watch for people putting their towels there in the morning and then not using them till afternoon after they come from beach, you must go see THE STELLA SHOW while you are there ask at hotel they will point you in right direction, lovely fish and chip shop just round the corner and you must go to dream boys down by the canal and stay for the entertainment ask for franko tell them lez sent you he will give you a lovely welcome well i was keeping this short but theres so much to say.GO GO GO to the navy you wont be sorry we have just booked again for next year how sad is that Sandra and LEZ Davies

This was out first time in Turkey and the Navy Hotel was a nice place to start. We had an attic room which was very spacious and exceptionally clean. The maids were fantastic - as were all the staff. The pool is a nice enough size and the area around clean and not crammed with sunbeds. It's only 2 minutes walk from the beach, shops and restaurants/bars. All in all, a very good hotel and I would certainly go back to the Navy.

The Navy Hotel is very basic..but it's not meant to be 5*! The pool is slightly small but adequate enough. However, not enough sunbeds so have to get up early to reserve one- typical english on hol though!
Staff were fairly friendly- chef, bar and waiting staff are very funny and lovely. Reception people not so much...
Food at breakfast is ok - bread is yummy, and the main highlight is eggs - fried, scrambled, boiled etc. Also did pancakes which were my main choice! Otherwise, there is a choice of continental foods- cheese, ham, tomatoes etc...
The accomodation is nice. Rooms are very clean and maids were lovely. Quite small but what do you expect? It's not 5* but nice enough.
Beach is nice, lots and lots of sunbeds, but it's quite commercialised on and around the beach.
Many restaurants to choose from to eat out during day and for evening. Their quite pushy but that's expected. Food is very varied in all restaurants - lots to choose from. I would thoroughly recommend going to Blondie's bar and restaurant - 21 Lira (equivilant to about £8.50) for a 3 course meal, and choice of anything. Also, cocktails were BOGOF! Also, 3 Bells Bar and Restaurant (just round the corner from Navy Hotel) does good food and fantastic entertainment- brilliant bar staff!
All in all, a fab holiday. Make the most of it though. We went on 3 excersions - kayaaking (recommended), waterpark (good for young children but only about 7 main slides) and the Dalyan Checkout on last day - definately recommended if you have a late flight.
Brilliant for a couple or friends on a low budget and want to go to somewhere lively, but not too lively. A good balance!
- Advice: Lots of restaurants and people and staff are all very friendly
- Activities: Blondies restaurant / 3 Bells Restaurant. Activities: Dalyan Adventure/Checkout

Arrived at 3AM for our second visit to the Navy. Helpful staff on hand and the brilliant ever present barman Erkan immediately sent out for some pizzas when one of the guests mentioned that she was peckish.
Our room was spotlessly clean and kept so all week no complaints whatsoever on the accommodation front.
The small but adequate pool provided a good socialising point for the mainly pleasant people staying at the Navy. The bar adjacent to the pool was manned all day from just after breakfast until early evening by the excellent laid back chef who made catering for us look very easy.
All in all, another fantastic stay in this small hotel staffed by excellent people who really look after you night and day.
Would we go again, yes we certainly would.
