Le Grand Lodge Mont Tremblant Hotel

We have just returned from this fabulous hotel and cannot praise this place enough.
We were treated like VIPs’ from the minute we arrived until the moment we left and nothing was ever too much trouble.
The rooms were absolutely immaculate and having a balcony was such an added bonus. The cleaners were very thorough and there were always lovely fluffy clean white towels every day and new beauty products replaced.
I accidently broke the glass coffee pot one day and this was replaced with no trouble and no questions asked and no charge.
The swimming pool, jacuzzi and outdoor hot tub were all clean and never too busy, again fresh towels were supplied.
The bar and bar food were fantastic and has a vastly stocked bar, we only ate in the restaurant one night but it was 'all you can eat roast rib' excellent value and amazing beef.
The shuttle service was extremely reliable and once this finished, if you wanted to pop into the resort in the evening to shop or have a meal then they run you down there in their people carrier - we never had to wait more than 2 minutes to be given a lift and when you want to come back you just call the hotel and they come and get you straight away.
We didn't have a hire car so this was a great service that we used almost every night.
All the staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful but also left you alone to enjoy your holiday. The boutique shop has a good selection of ski wear etc and although we didn't use the shop to rent skis their prices were very competitive.
The only negative thing I can possibly think of is that the shop didn't sell groceries and as our room had a kitchen and we had no car it was a shame that we couldn't pick up some basics from the hotel to make our own breakfast, as we didn't always want the huge breakfast that the hotel offered.
However there is a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you into the local village where there are some great supermarkets at much cheaper prices than you'll find at the local smaller resort shops by the mountain.
I would be very surprised if you didn't have a lovely holiday here - we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
