By far the most luxurious hotel I have ever been to. The buffet food was excellent and the A La Carte restaurants were great - although go to the Chinese really early (you have to cue but it is worth the wait).

Hotel staff were very helpful and I would definatley be booking again for a relaxing holiday.

Only downside is that is a bit away from the town so you are limited at night for entertainment.

I booked the excursions aswell and they all ran like clockwork - excellent opportunity to see Cancun and the surrounding areas.

I went to the moon Palace with my new husband on our Honeymoon and we both had such an excellent experience.

The room was complete luxury from the hammock on the balcony and the huge double Jacuzzi to the bed which was bigger then a king size!

On arrival we had champagne and fresh fruit. The towels were arranged as 2 swans with fresh flowers and every other day the maids changed it to something else.

We were on the sunrise side and did have a bit of a walk to the main reception but it was such a lovely walk every morning on route to breakfast, for the more lazy guest there are little golf carts which take you throughout the whole complex! They definitely have everything covered.

We thought the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.

Cannot find any fault with the Moon Palace and would love to visit again soon. It is expensive but worth every single penny.

You must try every cocktail from their menu as they are so very tasty and potent!!! (Don't think they care about measurements!)

The pool area is fab, especially having the sun beds in the shallow water...there was always a waitress on hand to bring extra cold drinks to you as you laze by the pool.

Finally the food was superb, there was such a huge selection from Mexican to Chinese, our favourite was the Mexican Restaurant as they had everything from fajitas to burgers and chips. I think even the fussiest of eaters would be quite happy.

We both highly recommend the Moon Palace. If you do go then enjoy every minute.

By far and away the Best Hotel I have stayed at. From the moment of arriving to the hotel all aspects were first class.

Highly recommended, Looking to visit again soon. The food was great and the different number of pools were excellent.

Only disappointment was rowdy Americans but on average kept themselves to themselves.

Staff very helpful and always on hand to help.

Excellent Holiday!

I stayed at the moon palace on the nizuc side and it was paradise it is so clean and the rooms are all superior deluxe and they are the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in also every day when the maids came in they made something out of the towels and put new flowers in the room.

The food is the best in every restaurant but for the best meals go to the Italian on the golf course or the Mexican in sunrise. the service is great and all the hotel staff are so helpful and friendly I would definitely go again.

Stayed at Moon Palace whilst on my honeymoon, it is heaven on earth. Everything 1st class. Excellent dining, choice and quality of food excellent, staff friendly, rooms spotless cleaned every day. Jacuzzi in every room which is massive and a lot of fun.

The pool is huge clean and wasn’t too packed.

Always something going on around the pool, entertainment team is always on the go, beach soccer, volleyball, pool volleyball, water polo, tennis, basketball, pool.

Cannot recommend this place enough, yes it is expensive but I could not fault anything.

Definitely go back when I have saved up enough money.

Moon Palace was everything I expected and more. We went there to get married with 11 of our friends.

We picked the hotel due to it size and the number of facilities it offered as there were so many of us going. The wedding co-coordinator and wedding package was excellent couldn’t fault anything about the day. Food and drink was of good quality and there was plenty of choice for everyone. Staff were very attentive and welcoming not only to us as honeymooner but everyone that came with us felt the same.

The only thing I would say was the noise it is a very large resort so can be noisy around the pool and in some of the bar areas due to the number of people but we knew when we booked that this was not a quite secluded resort so this was expected. Would definitely go back and have recommended to friends, enjoyed every minute.

First off, the Hotel itself is by far the best that I have ever seen. The architecture is amazing and everything is spotlessly clean. It has just about every conceivable facility the holiday maker can ever want. Shame about the staff!

The food was awful and aimed at the (eat as much as you like Americans). They were far too busy to provide huge amounts of food that they forgot to think about quality and choice etc. The selection of vegetarian option were of non existence. In the end we ended up eating pasta and pizza for two weeks. On two separate occasions I got up and left the restaurant because the food I was served was well below par (even when it had already been sent back once)!

On another note, we got woke up every morning by noisy cleaners dragging big linen carts about bashing them around.

Definitely left a sour taste and would not go again, we were not the only ones the Thomson reps were inundated with complaints.

We have now been to the Moon palace in Cancun twice, the first being our Honeymoon, the place is fantastic. It has everything that we want from a holiday, we like the sun beds in the pool they keep you really cool. the swim up bar is great, you get such a choice of restaurants that you never get bored. a twenty min taxi ride takes you to some great shops. the room was always clean and the staff are superb.

I feel its great value for money, the icing on the cake are the optics in your room along with the Jacuzzi!!!

I was taken by my boyfriend as a surprise treat to Moon Palace.

All I can say is a wonderful place, beautiful, clean, luscious grounds. Food as you expect with all-inclusive lots of it, I would’ve preferred less at a better quality.

Rooms were nice the hammock and Jacuzzi were great .We found it difficult to get a drink at the main bar at times, but we avoided it most of the time due to the haze around it from the smokers .

The swim up bar was dominated by the American visitors as was the busy pool areas, wanting to relax we stayed on the beach, this was beautiful to lie on, and drinks were bought to you, but the seaweed along the shoreline although cleared daily was constantly there so I felt unable to go into the sea, yes I'm a wimp about seaweed around my legs ...!

All in all a great time was had, I was glad we were a way out from the main drag of Cancun which was busy and very commercialised. Yes I’d visit again, especially if it was another treat!

This was an excellent hotel brilliant for my honeymoon. This was only the third time I’d been all inclusive and the choice was amazing but nothing really for fussy eater like myself, the drinks were excellent just like the staff you didn’t even have to finish your drink and anther one was already pourer out. Very clean and well maintained would definitely visit again.

This was supposed to be a once in a life time holiday in a so called plush resort called Moon Palace in Cancun. The whole holiday cost a fortune and was to say the least not worth the money. The hotel is very over rated and Cancun itself is very geared up to take more money from you and the people are obsessed with tips and your money. Nothing is cheap. If you fancy Mexico which I am a great lover of do not go to a self build tourist site go the other side where you will see the real Mexico and friendly people who care about where they live not how much money it can earn them and believe me they don’t have much.

Shuttle buses available to take you to other linked hotels which are nearer the town.

Lots of water sports.

Good evening entertainment.

Attentive staff.

Lots of restaurants to chose from.

Fantastic bedrooms.
