Hofer Hotel

Hotel Hofer was really nice, a small place with a nice atmosphere run by Crystal Ski Hotel staff. Centrally located in quiet area of Kitzbuhl 5 mins walk to main lift station (get a ski locker at the lift station as they are heated rather than at the hotel which aren't.) We had the attic rooms which are newly furnished etc room 329 great room with a huge bathroom (corner bath and separate shower). Overall food at the hotel was very good and varied and staff friendly. Quiz nights at the hotel were well organised and good fun. Cleanliness of the room could have been more thorough.

Stayed at Hofer for a week mid January. The stay was generally very good, staff helpful and location excellent. Our only complaints would be the cleaniness of the room and the failure of management to act on any of our simple requests (namely changing the light bulb!!!!). Would recommend but would suggest you ask for attic rooms as these are far superior to the ones on the lower floors.

Great value, very friendly staff, good location, clean rooms, good base for skiing, food was excellent, staff and manager happy to accomodate requests. We stayed in room 330 which had a balcony with nice views of kitzbuhel. Hotel has sauna and massage facilities at a small cost.

We stayed in the Hotel Hofer on a Crystal active holiday. The room was fine ( could have been a little cleaner) and the food full board was good. The walking and biking from the hotel was excellent and the White Water rafting was fantastic. The resort was excellent very clean and great to walk round.

Just returned from spending 2 fantastic weeks at the Hofer, booked through Crystal Active. Hotel basic , clean and comfortable. Food excellent and staff [both reps, and hotel staff] all outstanding. With wonderful views of the mountains from our balcony, the pretty centre of Kitzbuhel 5 mins walk away, and Lake Schwartzee just a 10 min cycle away; we found the Hofer ideally situated. Definately plan to return.

EXCELLENT FOOD . GREAT STAFF (even TOM the Crystal Guide with his greeeeat sense of humor ) Fantastic time there with plenty to do and a brilliant Country . Met up with some lovely people.Recommended and will come back again. Keith & Julie Wales.

Loved the hotel. Staff couldn't be more helpfull. Food was fantastic! Was concerned about the ''Club hotel'' concept, but this was easily one of the better 3* I have ever stayed in! Would definatley recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good hotel, fairly close to town centre, bus stop 50m away to slopes, good food and excellent staff very friendly, well run hotel
