Toni Hotel

Hotel Toni is a very modern hotel, built in the last few years. The double rooms are huge and of an excellent standard. The hotel has some excellent facilities particularly the wellness suite and pool. My main criticisum is the buffet style dinner every night. Food quality is good and as it is a buffet the quantity is staggering but it feels more Butlins than 4*. Me and my girlfriend stayed here April 2008. Only just realised I didn't write a review about this amazing place. We booked through Crystal Ski and got a great deal of £450 pp which was a saving of about £200 each from the brochure price. My wife and I stayed at the hotel Toni for 1 week half-board during July 2008. We booked last minute, directly through the Crystal Holidays Lake & Mountains website, costing £289pp flying from Newcastle, UK. This represented a significant saving on their brochure price. This is the first time that we have been skiing and it was fantastic. The Hotel Toni is immaculate, and the staff are efficient and friendly. The rooms are quite large and very comfortable. We checked in to the hotel quite late, and they had put some lovely bread and cold meats on the table in our room. 33 of us stayed here as a group (aged 4 to 44) and had a blast. Staff were very friendly and had no problem catering for our large group. Likewise barman stayed till the death to accommodate our late night Apres Ski habits . Great facilities for kids . Pool could have been hotter. Jacuzzi could have been hotter and bigger but wellness center definitely worth an extended visit. Will be returning next year for sure. Stayed in the apartments section of hotel Toni without catering. There is kitchenette in them. The apartments for 4 persons were super. Not very spacious and modern, but clean, cozy, with separate balconies, showers and toilettes for the rooms. On the main street, 5 min walk from the center, 50 meters to ski bus stop. Went with Crystal in march. Hotel was great, I have stayed in lots of types of ski accomodation and have to say that this was some of the best. The room was massive - with separate shower and toilet which was handy The "wellness" area was great - jacuzzi, sauna, infa red, herbal steam room - a great treat. Booked the hotel Toni in Kaprun as a last minute deal. On arrival was very impressed with the hotel , very friendly staff and lovely spa area. The food was also lovely and never felt the need to eat out. Slightly out of the buzz of the town, but there were frequent buses and it was only a 5 minute walk. This hotel is in an enviable position for the main ski area, which is only about a 5-10 minute bus ride. The town of Kaprun was a wee gem, with lovely cafes and designer shops. We stayed at the Hotel Toni 17-24 March 2007. Although the Toni is located on the outskirt of the village, it is very convienent for buses to the Glacier (just 30 metres). Village centre just 7 minute walk. Hotel newly opened, very clean and rooms spacious. Great variety of food for breakfast and dinner. Great spa but pool quite small. I would recommend this Hotel and would definitely return.
