Our holiday was one of the best ever, Kaprun is a small, pretty village bursting with beauty and lots of activities no matter what your age or ability. The Abendruh staff were extremely friendly, helpful and poilte as were the Crystal reps. The food was excellent, and I believe they are going to do a bbq evening through the summer season, the rooms were clean and comfortable although could do with decorating to bring them up to date. Overall I would definately reccomend the pension and the resort because of the friendly atmosphere of a small setting.

21 of us stayed her for christmas and we had a fantastic time. We would of given our stay 10/10 if the chalets decour was better. It was a bit dated and could do with new carpets and decour but we found it comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and accomodating to our needs and there cooking was very good. kaprun was a lovely place too lots to do especially for the young adults who came in at 4am every morning but still managed to get up at 8 to ski. Would come back again

Went to this hotel for two weeks in August 2008, this was booked through Crystal holidays.I don't usually do organised holidays although having said that we've actually been with Crystal twice before (La Prez, near Chamonaux). I like the idea of having a base sorted and then being able to organise anything else yourself and are not compeeled to join a group. I (Dad) went with my teenage son (arghhh!!!), we decided to drive, the disount paid for our petrol and we had the use of a car there. I found the hotel clean and quiet, the food was excellent particularly the breakfasts - although did feel a little queasy on a few occassions with sausage overload. We found the area great for mountain biking, canyoning, kayacking, canoing, swimming and walking. I think the only slight disapointment was that it was quiet in the evenings - I although I guess it was their end of season. Some of the staff appeared to be new and were still learning the ropes - ready for winter. WE ENJOYED THE HOLIDAY AND WOULD RETURN TO THE AREA AGAIN. Having the car meant that we could disappear when we wanted to, a good trip was to one of the many mountain spa's (Bad Gestien) as cheap as chips and fantastic views - even my son enjoyed it. A useful tip is to note that not all outdoor hot tubs there are for bathing without trunks. Another interesting trip was the Grossluckner Pass, an alpine motoring route, very exciting drive but expensive (?) £20 toll.
