We have had a fantastic holiday. The weather was hot and sunny, accomodation was spotlessly clean, and room staff impecable.
The food was excellent with a varied choice at each meal every day and the waiters were very friendly and helpfull. We reccommend a trip to Cairo with Thompsons - an excellent day out.
Looking forward to returning ASAP.

Excellent 5 start hotel, clean wide beach with loads of room, very clean and very friendly.
Great for children and disabled. High class of clientele also with lots of Italians & Germans and Russians staying, so dress to impress. Evening wear demands trousers and shoes (no shorts/sandals, definitely no football shirts). You don’t need to leave the resort here. The diving off the coral reef is some of the best along the coast. Will be going back here again.
Sharm airport is a nightmare; expect 1-2hrs to collect your luggage as several flights arrive at once and the return journey queues can be twice as bad.

Winter Sun???? Look no further, I went towards the middle of Nov and it was fantastic. The hotel was very clean and the friendly staff made you feel welcome. We had a Mountain View, however it was more of a mountain top in the distance over the building site but don’t let this put you off as its not noisy. All in all a quality hotel!!! The Baron Resort impressed us so much the first time we stayed there that we decided to go there again.
Lovely clean hotel with lush green gardens and a beautiful private beach a stones throw from your hotel room. Staff were helpful and friendly so there was little need for the JMC rep. We loved it.
There was a sufficient range of restaurants in the Resort to cater for most people but, if like us you go for 2 weeks, then travelling in to Sharm is a must.
Taxi journeys are an experience that some may not like, particularly at night because driving with no lights appears to be the norm. Fares are reasonable though at 45 Egyptian Pounds (agreed before you get in) and Sharm needs to be experienced.

New AI hotel opened end of 2005-adjoins Baron Hotel and has lovely private beach with AI drinks and sandwiches during the day. Accomodation, food.
staff and service all excellent. Rooms have views of garden or great pool area. Buffet lunch or good snacks in pool resturant. Great and different themed buffet every night or excellent meal by the pool.
Also an Egyptian resturant we didn't try as we were enjoying the others so much. Various bars to drink in and afternoon tea and cookies in veranda bar very relaxing. Weather in March was ideal.
Appeared to be a good kids club but evening entertainment was poor. I would definitely recommend hotel and might go back once they extend and improve the airport.
