Rooms small but adequate. One bar not big enough for complex, took an age to get served. Drinks served in small plastic cups, one mouthful and it was gone.
No ice cream for the children. Entertainment was poor. Finished by 10pm and you were left with nothing to do except queue for half an hour at the bar for a plastic cup of beer. Staff not very helpful seemed to keep their distance from English guests. Food was ok but selection did not change a lot from day to day.
No facilities in your room for drinks. Once you left the bar at night there was nowhere to get a drink. Glorious weather and beautiful beach, probably the only positives I can give.

Beautiful island, and Playa el Agua is great. Hotel was clean, food was good, but entertainment was next to none, and not what you should expect from an all inclusive that promises to keep a teenager occupied.
Book a bungalow in the hotel grounds, share a pool with 10/12 other bungalows. A lot more personal than a room in the main hotel block.
Only one bar (poolside) catering for all drinks needs. No coffee available after dinner at night.
Resort made the holiday, not the hotel.

We have been to El Agua on both visits and I can certainly say you won’t be disappointed.
The food is very good the site first class, everything on site is close together.
The rooms are very clean and have air con. The staff are very helpful. you can go out of a gate at the back of the site and over a small road and you are on the beach.
There are shops and beach traders close by but if you say no to the beach traders they usually go away.
We are planning to go again in the next 18 months. Just enjoy your holiday.
