We have stayed at the Panorama Hotel near Petra on 4 occasions in ten years and the quality, cleanlines and service from a fantastic, family run business, has been exceptional on every occasion. Would highly recommend and you won't be disappointed.

Although this is a fantastic Hotel and the family are really lovely, We strongly object to having to pay 3 euros a day for the use of a fridge. No way does it cost them 3 euros a day to run 1 fridge. It is totaly bad in hot weather that you cant keep cold food and drink in... more

We really enjoyed our holiday at the Panorama, travelling 19th July - 26th (2 adults + 2 children, 10 & 14). Pool area is lovely and the pool itself was warm probably due to the fact that we arrived when they were experiencing a heatwave! (42+). Staff were very friendly... more

We stayed at the Panorama Hotel from 10/08/06 to 24/08/06 and could not fault it at all! We too were given one of the high rooms and marvelled at the spectacular view this offered us. Walking up the hill was at first quite a daunting prospect, but after a couple of days it... more

The Panorama Hotel in Petra. Lesvos is family run and located about 500 metres from the villager of Petra. There is a pavement alongside the beach so it is safe walking, but it is a bit uneven. The hotel is situated off the main road along a track. The first thing that... more

loved lesbos
Just arrived back from a week on the beutiful island of lesbos, we stayed in petra at the panorama hotel. the best holiday ever! relaxed, yet plenty to do and see with the advice from first choice reps and one of the islands tour guides. met many nice people and plenty of holiday makers who return to the island year after year. it was our first time there, but can completly understand why people choose to return there! as i've said it was a wonderful holiday, well worth the money. very enjoyable!!
Great Location
We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Lesbos - what a beautiful, unspoilt island! Stayed in Petra at the Panorama Hotel which is located on the outskirts of the town. Very quiet and peaceful setting with just the sound of birds, owls and goat bells to wake you early in the day. The hotel is well run by a very friendly family and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from it all.
Birding at Petra
Very quiet and calm with wonderful plantations. Close to a good beach. Lovely to study the Little Owls on the roofs in the evenings from our balcony. For a bird-watcher, very good birding localities on the hills just above the hotel. The breakfast was very scanty though. Some problems with moscitoes in the nights. Repellants can be bought in the shops of Petra. Very good and quick services.
Panorama Hotel
Just returned from 2 weeks at the Panorama Hotel. Lovely hotel, though slightly larger than the brochures advertised (76 rooms). We had a room at the top and though it took a few minutes to get to it from the bottom it was so worth it for the views - spectacular. Rooms were cleaned 6 days out of 7, shower was mainly quite warm - unusual for Greece! We didn't pay for air con as it was quite expensive (about 5 euros a day I think) but you will probably need it from about June onwards as it started to get very warm at night. We had paid for b&b but only had breakfast once as it finished at 9.30 and that was too early for us, and there wasn't a great deal of choice. Pool was lovely, quiet and clean, and there were plenty of sunbeds. The Moisis family were all very friendly and helpful. Food was good at lunchtime, evenings not so good (not much choice and not great) but hotel was so convenient for getting into Petra and all its restaurants so this really wasn't a problem. I would definitely stay at this hotel again as it was clean, quiet and situated in a beautiful location surrounded by flowers. And I would request the highest room they had available, despite the walk up!
Panorama paradise
We have been to the Panorama for the last three years and are going back in may. Sophia, Costas, Nicolas & Vasilles make us feel like part of the family. We love it and fully recomend it. Costas also does the best b.b.q. ROSE & PAUL
Studios
We stayed in a studio in August 2004. Be warned that the studios are up the steep hill (mountain!) behind the hotel and the travel company we travelled with didn't mention this. However, once we climbed the hill the view was just wonderful. The studios are brand new so everything was clean and in good working order. The shower even had a shower curtain - unusal in Greece! Also loo rolls are provided throughout the two weeks! Very efficient air conditioning (you have to pay for it but well worth it for a good nights sleep). And the beds were almost the most comfy we have ever had on holiday. (Though our daughter slept on a sofa bed which was just ok). Swimming pool was unusual in that it was actually bigger than it appeared in the brochure. Staff very pleasant and helpful (good English to shame our poor Greek). All in all we recommend the Panorama.
Panorama Studios - Wonderful holiday
Stayed at the Panorama Studios 2 - 9 September 2004. Wonderful hotel - best holiday for years. Staff are friendly and polite. Food excellent. Facilities brilliant. Hotel and studios clean and well equiped. Fully recommend it. Definately going back.
Hotel Panorama in Petra, Lesbos
Hotel Panorama is an excellent hotel. Spent one week there in July and could have done with longer. The service, accommodation and food is of a high standard. We will definitely be visiting this hotel again.
The best hotel i ever visited yet!
Very Very! nice people, loyal guests (some come back every year), beautiful location, h=just superb. Quiet, excelent service, short walk to town and sea, excelent indoor restaurant with very good food at low prices, rooms cleaned every day, i could go on...
Lovely island!
I just spent a week in Panorama hotel, Petra, Lesbos. I find it an extraordinary agreeable place to stay for different reasons: excellent location: calm position, but not far from the beach and from the center of village of Petra (walking distance), good connections to the city of Molyvos (Mythimna) nice rooms with marvellous view from the balcony very proper and well-kept very friendly owner's family (Costas, Sophia, Nikolas and Vassilis); I appreciated their willingness to be at disposition without exaggerated politeness.Minor remarks: breakfast is modest (I would expect at least some Greek food, e.g. olives, feta, tomatos, cucumbers....) extra charge for safe deposit and fridge..I warmly recommend stay in Panorama hotel!prof. dr.
