the hotle is in a good location, but the rooms are so small you can not even swing a cat in it, i holidayed in that hotle and never will again had to move rooms twice because i was allocated my correct room, cleaners stole things out my room they changed my sheets on the bed once in 14 days, fair enough they clean the room everyday but didnt change the sheets, the bar staff were sleeping with the youngers holiday makers in their rooms, the hotel was full of gangs of girls and boys keeping you up till all hours,

overall its not a good hotle and i will never good back

Going back in July again...4th time in 3 years!!

Theo makes you very welcome, and the food sorts out the night before's hangover. Excellent cocktails, lovely peaceful setting. Just what you need to recharge the batteries.

Clean pool, clean rooms..basic... but everything you need.

And as close to the beach as you can be without getting your feet wet, while in bed.

Roll on summer!!

I HAVE BEEN 2 ALEX STUDIOS TWICE WITH THE FAMILY BUT THIS YEAR ITS A FULL ON GIRLIE HOLIDAY! SO WATCH OUT EVERYBODYY ;) HAHA

THE ROOMS ARE REALLY NICE BASIC BUT VERY CLEAN, FOODS GORGEOUS BY THE POOL AND THE OWNERS R FAB AND 2MINS AWAY FROM EVERYTHING YOU NEED!

YOU DO HAVE 2 CARRY YOUR SUITCASE ALONG THE BEACH BUT THAT JSUT SHOWS HOW CLOSE U ACTUALY ARE TO IT.

The alex studios was a lovely place to stay, the owners were really friendly. I would reccomend these apartments to anyone they are in a really good location, right on the beach and the strip is just a 2minute walk away, the only bad thing is you have to drag your suitcase along the beach to get to the alex studios, other than that they are spot on.

What can I say other than brilliant, going back next year. Hotel does not get enough reviews, Theo makes you very welcome. Rooms basic but very clean, that's all you need. Our first time in Zante very impressed. In two weeks of staying there not one bad meal in any restaurant. Saying that Alex pool bar does really nice brekkie and other snacks. Met lovely people Ritchie, Katie and their 2 friends hi if your reading this and lets not forget Molly and John who have been going to Zante for about 22 years. So Theo see you next year. FANTASTIC: 2 couples over 40. Lots of young adults but they were brill, not noisy at all. Great location, friendly owners. Accommodation basic, but who eats in these days when the Pool Bar is cheap for both drinks and food. Breakfast was only 5euros and the best we have had and we go away twice a year. Very clean and a lovely pool area. Nightlife to suit everyone and lots of places to eat.

Myself and partner have just returned from staying at Alex studios, very relaxed and clean place. Not far from beach, pubs and restaurants. We are going back next year. Theo is great he makes you feel welcome. Rooms are very basic but very clean which all you need for such a great place. The pool cocktails are delicious so is the food. The only downfall was having to come home. The best place to eat I would say Venison which is next to Alex. Then again in two weeks not had a bad meal yet. So Alex studios and Zante watch out here we come 2008.

I had such an amazing holiday here with 3 of the girls who I went with... Lauren, Sharon and Jenni. Alex studios was great. Theo and his family are really really nice people and they look after you when you stay here. I fell through a window here and all they were worried about was how I was... I was fine by the way just in case anyone was wondering.



The rooms are nice, they have everything you need for a boozy holiday. There is a pool and by the end of the holiday you have got to know everyone who is staying in the apartments, I'm still in touch with most of the people I met. There is a bar next to the pool as well so those of you who cant take the sun... its a good excuse to 'sit in the shade' and get drunk.



The cleaners are also great... and yes it is true... they really do just step over you and clean around you while your fast asleep on the bathroom floor. Its great. ha ha.



The nightlife is amazing. I would recommend Cocktails & Dreams, Cherry Bay, Rescue and Badboyz. There is absolutely loads to do here.



Whatever you do I know you will have an amazing time!

I went to Laganas with seven of my friends. Alex Studios was in a really good location your right by the beach and the strip. The rooms were basic but had everything we really needed, they were clean and quite big.



The people that owned the hotel were really nice considering the amount of trouble we caused on certain nights. However watch out for the security guard.



The strip itself was really good I'd recommend Rescue and Cherry Bay as it was open till 8.30 in the morning on the weekend and the music was jokes.



I would definitely recommend Alex Studios to anyone planning on going to Laganas, it was the best holiday we've had.

Hey, three of us went to Alex studios the 22nd July 2007! To be honest we were terrified when we got on the bus to take us to Alex studios because we hadn't seen any pictures them!



When we arrived we got told we had to carry our suitcases over the beach! But its not that bad trust me! It wasn't even a 2 minute walk. When we walked up to the apartments Theo was standing waiting to meet us and show us to our apartments.



Alex studios has a lovely layout and is very clean! The rooms were very basic but still extremely clean! We had friends staying in other parts of Zante and there rooms were nothing compared to ours! (haha) The people who work there are fab! They are so nice and they make it a friendly environment to be in.



The Night-life is great but definitely a group thing! There's a bar called Bad Boys which was on the bottom of the strip that was known for its unfriendly customers..... Fights every night and 2 people were killed when we were there!



"La Bamba" Kareoke Bar loved it!

"The End" Bar/Club good place to go before Clubbing

"Rescue" CLUB Legenardy!!

"Zeros" CLUB Legenardy!! we were stuck which one to go to so were went to rescue one night then zeros the next [lol]

Them were our favorites



Overall Zante is basic and good for group holidays!

Just got back from Alex studios in Laganas. Rooms very adequate, clean. Pool area very clean and well maintained, well stocked pool bar, and very reasonable, full English breakfast a must to cure the hangover.



The studios are only 100 yds from the beach , they are perfect for lazy days around the pool only about 500 yds to the main strip, very lively after 12.



The staff were an absolute pleasure and could not do enough for you, Theo, Mikey, were smashing lads who are only too happy to help out in making your stay a pleasurable stay.



Overall in a good location ( that’s after you have lugged your case along the beach ) so you won’t be disappointed at your choice.



Have a good one and don’t let Theo or Mikey tempt you to a sambuca.

There is limited information on Alex studios on the internet and this site is the only one which gave me any idea of what our hotel was like. I'd like to say though if you've picked this hotel you made a great choice!



Me and my mates, 7 lads 2 girls went here and we had such a great time. The rooms are clean and a bit basic. There is no air con unless you pay for it at the bar which is 40 euros a week, i think. However, there is 2 baclony doors, one of them is the windowed door, and the other is a metal framed door but has air holes in it. We didn't pay for the air con and just shut the metal balcony door and we were more than fine and this was in the heatwave which was 45c on some days. Besides if you were like us and were there to party you fall asleep in seconds of getting in anyway haha.



The hotel is in such a great spot. The restaurants are on the strip horizontal to the beach which is about 30 seconds walk away from the hotel and the bars and clubs are vertical to the beach in between the restaurant strip. The whole area is built up in what you could say is in a T shape, everything you need is less than 1 min away - seriously!



The hotel staff are very kind and we got on well with them. I recommend you get the fruit juice from the bar for 1.50! It is the most refreshing drink ever for chilling by the pool and recovering from the night before!



There are a few things i'd like to say to those party people though. When your on the strip you have to keep aware of quite a lot. There are gypsy families who work on the strip with kids of about 4/5 years old and there are about 20/30 of them total and they do pick pocket you. I had a couple mates who got pick pocketed, and you hear lots of stories about them from others on the strip!



Then there is a bar called Bad Boys which is one of the first clubs you'll come to from the hotel. It has a bad reputation among the people who work there because the Greek bouncers knock the hell out of an English guy one night, for no reason.



If you find yourself in trouble in a bar or club walk away because the Greek bouncers hate the English, and they will basically leave you knocked out on the strip and move you outside another bar - we saw it happen. There is no police either and we saw a girl get hit by a moped and after half an hour there was still no ambulance! The emergency services are really over-stretched. You can be waiting for a couple of hours before you'll receive any help! So just keep aware while your out there.



but for the hotel and its staff, simply amazing! enjoy!

I had a brilliant holiday in Laganas, seriously one of the best! I went with one of my friends and met four other people over there.



We were a bit unsure at first about the apartments because we hadn’t saw any pictures of them or anything when we booked, but when we arrived they were actually really nice.



The apartments were all really clean, and were a good size although they were very basic but we were hardly in our apartment anyway so never really bothered us. They are very close to the beach and just a few minutes’ walk from the main strip, which was very handy.



The nightlife in Laganas is also amazing, there are hundreds of pubs and clubs to choose from, we spent most nights in zeros club but I would also recommend cocktails & dreams, rescue, boozers and also the karaoke bar pink panthers we had a great night in there.



The Baywatch theme club hold beach parties every week as well which is also a must, 50 cents a drink all night, can’t really beat it.



My friend and I had such a great holiday we are in the process of booking another one there for August 07, so if anyone is there at that time might see you then.

This was the best holiday I have ever been on! I went with three of my girlfriends and we had the most amazing time.



The studios were really good, they were a nice size and they were extremely clean. The cleaners came in every other day and were really efficient, and as we only returned to the room in the early hours they still cleaned our room if we were asleep just around us!



The swimming pool was fantastic and there were plenty of gorgeous men to spend the whole day looking at! The food and drinks that you could buy at the pool bar were very reasonable in there price, and I would highly recommend the full English after a night out to cure a hangover!



Alex studios is in the perfect location as it is further enough away from the strip to be able to sleep but it is literally a 3 minute walk to the strip across the beach, which was even possible in heels! I honestly would say don't go to Laganas if you are going for a quiet holiday but if you want an amazing night life then this is the place for you.



I had the best holiday ever and it wouldn’t have been complete without Alex Studios!
