Periyali Studios is a short walk from Koukounaries beach, where the golden sand sparkles, it is also next to the riding school, it has no pool but you can use the pool at the Golden Beach which is a short walk and the waiters are very friendly. read more

Periyali studios are very basic, but perfectly adequate, especially considering the very low cost of the holiday. The rooms are spotless and sheets changed every two days.

Skiathos is very beautiful, quiet and largely unspoilt. It was quite expensive, 8euros for 2 sun loungers and umbrella per day. Koukounaries is a bit too busy, but there are other quieter beaches near by.

Advice: Koukounaries is lovely, the main beach is long and sandy, with other smaller, quieter beaches nearby
Activities: Tsougria, uninhabited island for day trips - fabulous!
Good for: Beach
