the people who are complaining about this holiday are obviously not laid back or looking for fun! its a cheap holiday and the staff are amazing, they really made the whole familys time here. there lovely and always there to help. we spend nearly ever night in the hotel... more

Been coming to marmaris for a few years now & thought we would give this hotel a try,,What a mistake that was !!!! With 2 teenage daughters... I don't think I slept for a fortnight.. The boys who worked There were after them constantly !!! Chasing them around the pool... more

This hotel on first impressions, seemed to be ok as we didn`t expect a lot with it costing so little. As time went on we realised how bad it really was. 1. Self catering facilities almost nonexistent, two rings for cooking (broken) kettle (broken) and a really old fridge... more

On arrival, we were greeted by one of the bar staff who took our bags to reception. Checking in was hassle free but we were surprised that if we wanted air con in our room, it would cost an extra £25 per week. The room compromised of a main sitting area which in our case... more

we loved our forthnight holiday at the golden orange the staff worked so hard,,,the entertainment was brill almost every night ,,,the food was fantastic was well worth the cheapness of it were goin again next year with 10 of our family ....well done golden orange for making our holiday superb

oh my god cant wait to go back!!!! golden orange is the best ive ever stayed in.i didnt pay much for it so i wasnt exspecting a lot but i got my moneys worth from it. the restraunt simpson is grate the food is out of this world (the sunday dinner are the best) and all the staff are the best and grate with kids and so funny and good at telling jokes especialy ossie and dursin.going back in august and september and october and staying there each time. i really have havd the best time of my life there

we have just returned from what can only be described as the best holiday ever. we arrived in the early hours of morning to a very helpful member of staff who carried our luggage to our room ,when i went into our room i was pleasantly surprised as the room was spacious and clean and fresh.there is 1 large pool and a kids pool and a bouncy castle and ps2 for kids the cleaning staff were excellent cleaning our rooms almost everyday with fresh towels regularly.the meals in the restaurant situated in the hotel were excellent we ate there most... more

I stayed at The Golden Orange for 2 weeks this year. It was reasonable priced so i wasn't expecting much...but had a fantastic time! The hotel isn't The Hilton but there is nothing that we needed that wasn't provided. I have to say that the staff are better than any i have met (even in 5 star hotels) they make the holiday the best that you can have... they are polite, proffesional and very friendly...i would return to meet them again, i was made to feel as a friend rather than a customer. 2 friends and myself stayed at the golden orange for 1 week and it was brill. It was basic basic but very clean. Our cleaner was in every day. The staff were great especially the waiters they put on a great show at night. Ozzy the barman made me laugh all the time. David, Simon, Andy, Dragon and even the manger all joined in on the entertainment. The pool was cleaned every night and the food was well presented. The Golden Orange Apartments are one of the best holidays we have been on and we have booked to go back in august all the staff are ace. The surrounding area is brilliant for families and everyone is really friendly. The Newyork Cafe over the road serves hot and cold food all day and the staff are fab also everyone at troys which is a hairdressers and every other service you could think of are very very nice. Hope to see them all again in August.

I have visited Marmaris for many years, the Golden Orange Hotel and Apartments I can quite honestly say were the best I've ever stayed at. The staff are all friendly and good with kids, the food is fantastic, the pools were well cared for and great size. I had a wonderful holiday and i'm already planning next one at this hotel.

in the year 2005 i went on a 2 week holiday to marmaris turkey and i stayed at a hotel called golden orange 2 and i couldnt be more pleased with the service and hospitality i recieved while i was there, everyone was so polite and so helpful. the food was of the highest standards i have ever come across, and the entertainment they laid on was absolutely breath takeing. the area in which in hotel is surrounded on is a site to see, and the main town centre is just 10 mins away and the beach is mere 5 mins stroll from the hotel.<br... more

We really didant find the staff very friendly here at all we had a flood in our room from a toilet we reported the day we arrived the clothes all soaking wet they did nothing to help at all If it wasant for the lovely staff at sharas restaurant across the road who carried all our clothes to ther house and washed it for us our holiday would have been ruined after that we spent all our meal times in sharas fabulous food great staff lovely atmosphere turkey is a lovely place to visit and when we return next year we will call and see alfie moon... more
