Destan Hotel

I have just arrived back from destan hotel, after reading good reviews booked it for 3 adults. Well me and 2 other friends booked a suit room which i have had in turkey berfore well they gave us a small room with 3 beds squashed in you could only open the wardrobe a couple of inches. spoke with manager he is very very rude he said that was a suit, we were shown other rooms with a shower which we did not mind but our bathroom had a juccuzi bath - i dont live in the bath or room but i want to be able to move about in the room - finally got upgraded to what manager said was king suite well this was more like what we wanted. Of course he charged us more. It took all of the weeks holiday to try and get into our first room as i left a shoe in there, know one seemed to understand what we were saying and cleaning the rooms in a week we never had clean bed lining or clean towels.we were half board food was lovely and the one who needs prasing up for all the good work he was doing was danny he was running everywere, they were getting rid of all the staff while we were there if it is advertised to be open until end of october they should of given us better service. dont get me wrong we did have a lovley holiday and it was very near to town.you had to pay for fridge never hurd of it

Just come back from this Hotel, BAD things only 1. British people slamming doors at 03.00 after downing to much alcohol. I had no problem shuting my door but why oh WHY people have to slam there doors i will never know. Before i went i was not sure about some of the write ups. Well the GOOD bits. VERY VERY CLEAN. Beautiful pool all 3 of them. Staff great location 10 out of 10. Definately going back next year.

we went to destan hotel in june 2011. it was a fantastic holiday great pool rooms were very nice staff were fantastic, i would book here again next year but this time i am taking my two children and i want all inclusive i only wish they did this here :(

location is great just 2 minutes walk from the town but the music is not loud and hardly heard at night.
the rooms are clean big enough have a big shower lovely balcony plasma tv cleaned daily and to a good quality.
all the staff are very welcoming and friendy.
pool games and entertainment daily.
2 pools a snack bar a restaurant a pool bar.
food and drinks are great value for money. would recommend the full english or the chicken and sweetcorn pizza!
perfect for all couples family and older ages.
also has a gym and air conditioning which is payable.
lovely breakfast of bread jams melon eggs cheese cereal juices and more.
in all it was a great hotel with lovely staff and cleaned thoroughly i do not understand why there has been any complaints on here about it.
we are aged 21 and 22 and are going to go next year with all the family ranging from 3-46 years!
definately a place to go

dont know how people have said anything bad about this hotel, me & my boyfriend just got back from an amazing 10 days there & we couldent of asked for a better hotel, rooms were cleaned daily, breakfast wernt to fantastic but everything apart from that was perfect, i will definatly be going back there, the staff were really nice & spoke good english! the pools are the best thing about the hotel both pools were really clean & around the pool was lovely! fab hotel, i will definatly be back! charlotte & james xxx

Me and 5 frıends have just had a 9 nıght stay at the destan hotel and ıt was absolutley brıllıant!!! the hotel staff are very frıendly very helpful! DO NOT LISTEN TO OTHER REVIEWS THERE RUBBISH!!! thıs hotel and atmosphere ıs wıcked! cant waıt to come back agaın !!! we all loved every mınture of ıt! and ı would defınately come back to the same hotel!!!!! THANK YOU FOR A GREAT HOLIDAY DESTAN HOTEL :) !!!!!

I've just got back from a fantastic 10night stay at the Destan Hotel. The staff couldn't be more helpful, the rooms were cleaned a& towels and beds changed daily. The pools were great, not what I expected at all, especially as we got a really good price on a 10 night stay B&B. The breakfast was probably the only thing that wasn't fab, it was ok and after realising that if i asked for toast they didnt mind doing it for you me!
You are literally only 2 mins walk away from the main town centre, and i had vsions of being able to hear the music etc, but we didn't hear a thing.
The hotel is a quiet hotel, for the first 8 days of our holiday their was only 2 other people around the large pool, all day, everyday, perfect if you want to chill out by the pool. The pool at the front was busier, better for children as all one depth. They do also have a 'baby' pool for toddlers, also grat for dipping your feet in!
All in all a brilliant holiday, my parents have even booked to go at the end of the month.
Thank you to all at the Destan for a great break.

Just returned from turkey , spent 11 nights at the hotel Destan in Hisaronu , we could not fault the hotel or the location. The staff at the hotel were fantastic we would recommed this hotel to any one . Hope to return there next year.

very good considering the price nice pools. 2 minutes away from town perfect location would go again.

Ive just returned from a wonderful holiday staying at the destan hotel.Ive had no problems with anything and everyone was kind and very helpful.The breakfast was typically turkish but freshly prepared and nicely presented.Fresh bread,ice-cold toms and peeled cucumber,olives,butter on ice and a choice of 3 jams.Plenty of tea and coffee, and if anything ran out, all you had to do was ask one of the waiters and it would be replaced.
Rooms were cleaned daily, bedding and towels were clean and of an adequate standard, ok not eqyptian cotton but wot do you expect.
One morning i got up late after 1 oclock and the maid had tried to clean the room earlier, i told her not to bother that day, but after i got up and went to the pool she went and cleaned the room.
The 2 pools are great and of a good size, with plenty of sunloungers,no need to put your towel of them to claim them!
The only downside is that there is no fridge and youre not allowed to bring in any food or drink. To get round this just take youre beach bag to the shops and put everything in that. As long as youre not seen carrying any supermarket plastic carrier bag you wont be stopped.
The destan is in a good location, not too far to get the dolmus to oludeniz and fethiye - bout 4 mins walk to the mosque where you catch the dolmus. All in all a great hotel and ill be back next year. By the way the manager saild the hotel will be having a overhaul this winter, new bathrooms and deluxe rooms so it will be even better. Denise
