Karawan Hotel

I have visited hotel Karawan with my parents and my lil brother on 27.05-06.06 2008 and dont regred anything at all!!!!!!! Had briliant time there, when we arrived we didnt like the room really but with no problem they changed for us, rooms are ok, I came there jst to sleep but sometimes not even that :-), food was lovely, u can choose from so many!!! cleaning and other servises on good level as well, maybe more towels in bathroom :-) Everybody from staff have been very good to me and my family, good manners!!!!! I was in Prima Life Safa in summer 2007 so I thought tht Prima Life Karawan will be best choice on week from 28. th Dec till 4. th Jan,but it wasnt truth.... And thx god tht I wasnt there in summer,this hotel has two swimingpools but its too small....and yes its near the beach but if you dont know how to cross the street you will be in trap....coz there is no way to cross it.....just only your brave....jump to street and maybe the car will stop.... The location was ok, and so was the interior of the hotel. The rooms were basic, but ok for the price. We had all inclusive, but we got sooo sick from the food that we could hardly eat it at all. Another thing was that they had the same food for both lunch and dinner the hole week... And don´t even bother trying to get a pancake in the afternoon and the ice-cream cups is soo small, it´s ridiculous. Nice simple hotel placed very close to the medina , beach, shops. Our room was very clean just above the animation place but it was OK because the animations finished at 11.p.m. and then it wasnt any noise there. A good choice of eating out places - very cheap.

We arrived at the hotel a bit dissapointed because from the street it just lookeed not as good as we've seen in the catalogue :) but the first impression dissaperad the very next day. The hotel is very nice for its 3* The rooms are just cute, our bathroom thou wasn't what we've expected,the sink was clogged up but our next door friend's bathroom was just fine. We just really regret not having the room with a sea view because the street view wasn't breathtaking at all.. and we've also seen some strange behaviours... more

(Hotel Karawan, Tunisia. 6th-14th May 2007) The price was very cheap so we didnt expect much from the hotel. Out of 4 times we have visited Tunisia this was the worst. The hotel grounds were dated and the tiles round the pool unsafe, I slipped and badly hurt myself and saw at least 20 other people during the week, especially children falling and bumping their heads. MY husband and i walked into the hotel at 1.45pm. It was 10 past 2 when we had been shown to our room and dashed to the dining room hoping for lunch. we had been travelling since 4am. No chance, service finishes at 2pm we were told and we couldn't pick up anything from the buffet. we were directed to the paying cafe although we were all inclusive. we went to the all inclusive bar. talk about segregation. it took nearly all week to find out you can have a choice of 3 local spirits, coffee, cola. sprite , a beer , hot choc, and what they call... more

Really nice hotel with a lovely entertainment team! this was the highlight of my stay because the entertainment team were so nice & they perform every night at 9pm some fantastic dances Micheal Jackson etc. The rooms are nice fresh sea view recommended cause the front of the hotel is on a street which is not so nice! The beach is only across the road so that is great. I got tired of the food in hte hotel cause it was the same thing every day so i wouldnt eat there every night. i did enjoy my stay at this hotel

I was on a school trip in Tunisia. The hotel was amazing. It has 3 swimming pools, 2 outdoor and 1 indoor. The rooms are small but still quite comftable. You have a TV in each room. They clean your room twice in a day, in the morning and in the evening. Food-excellent. Especially we loved the entertainment. The dancers were great. The beach is in front of the hotel. You just cross the street and there you are. It's like a Hawain beach with the sand and everything. If you visit Tunisia you'll wish to live there.

We just came back from Tunesia, Stayed in Sousse, Karawan hotel. Lovely clean room with airco. Bathroom OK. Very nice people. Animation team is doing everything to make you feel comfortable. English, french breakfast, very european. Lunch with lots of salads, spagetti, potatoes etc. Diner same as Lunch salads with Tunesian tapas, different kinds of meat and fish. Deserts are fantastic!!!
