Arrived at midnight to find we had one of the top apartments, so had to drag 40 kgs of baggage up 3 ramps with at least a 30% incline on each. Not for anyone with a heart condition, or other restrictive health problems. The other way to the apartment involved climbing up... more

We stayed at Island Village with friends in 2002 then went back ourselves in 2008, and we fully intend to return in 2009. We stayed both times in the lower part of the resort close to the road. We were very happy there as the apartment was huge and immaculately clean. It... more

I couldn't find anything gorgeous about it. In fact we are currently in the process of asking for our exchange fee to be refunded. It was absolutlely disgusting. I don't know what entertainment you found but there wasn't anything at all between 15th - 29th August 2008.... more

What on earth is the person who wrote the comment below on about? Island Village is absolutely gorgeous, HUGE rooms, plenty of pools, good entertainment and bar. NUTS! Some people are so damn fussy and will complain about anything. Trust me, it's amazing!
