Hotel is in a perfect position to all areas of Palma Nova and just 5 min walk frm Magaluf, we stayed on the Magaluf side and didnt hear any noise what so ever.
Room was very spacious although the kitchen area and bathroom areas could have been a little better but was very well equiped.
The beds were not very comfortable and there are no duvets only a blanket and a thin pillow.
All staff we very very friendly and helpful and the internet access is very cheap and well used.
The pool area is very nice, i would say the best part of thehotel. However the inside pool and gym area is not very diserable and could be improved and maintained alot better.
I would not reccomend half board or all inclusive, this hotel is perfect for either s/c or b/b. Good for children, maturer couples, very quiet.

This hotel is spot on for what you pay! we stayed in the apartment side of it, the kitchen area is quite small, n the hobs take ages to heat up, but in general we ate out most of the time anyway! the actual bedroom and living area was very spacious and clean, and a maid came around at least 3 times while we were there for the week, so we always had clean towels and toilet roll lol! the pool area is lovely as well and staff were always helpful, we did have a bit of an ant problem when we 1st got there, but some1 came and sorted it straight away for us, and from what i heard over there most hotels have a problem with ants so this could have happened at a 5 star hotel as well anyway!
The actual location was perfect it is literally a 5 minute walk 2 all the bars n clubs like bcm and bannanas, and also 2 mins away from palma nova beach and some of the more quiter restaurants and bars, but it is just far enough away 2 actually get a decent nights sleep, we had some friends staying in an 18 - 30 hotel at the same time and they had some right problems while there with safes and stuff being robbed, so we were glad we booked here instead!
over all it seems more for couples and families, but we were a young group of girls there and still had as good a time as our m8s at the 18 - 30 hotels! this really is a hotel for every1!

This is an excellent holiday apartment resort I would recommend it... but dont come if
you dont want:
your bathroom pipes to burst in the middle of the night
your bathroom to consequently flood in the middle of the night
your kitchen facilities to be appauling
your toilet to not flush
to have no cold water so have boiling showers
rats running around the floor
and an arrogant man at reception
e.g. a complaint
Me: I have just seen a rat running around the corridor
Receptionist: Yeh I saw it too

Family holiday; children age 13, 11 and 15months. We have just returned from our holiday, we had a fantastic time. The hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were cleaned nearly every day and fresh towels supplied. The air coditioning in the rooms was great. The staff were polite and friendly. The pool was fantastic, comprising of a childrens pool, large swimming pool and a seperate circular pool, which the older kids loved, and you didnt have to be up at the crack of dawn to get a sunbed there were plenty.
The food was of good quality and always hot with a good variation provided.
The hotel was positioned well, close enough to walk to the lovely beaches and into palma nova and magaluf but far enough away so there was no noise disturbance at night.
The only fault we had with the hotel was the evening entertaiment, it was rubbish!!!!!!!.
The girls tried there best with what they had, but it definately was not what u would call entertainment. We went out ito town every night.
I would definately reccommend this hotel (as long as you are not looking for good evening entertainment)

Just returned from the Rosa Del Mar yesterday and i was very happy with the standard of hotel. I was in a group of four 18yo's and we went to Magaluff to chill and go out for the nightlife, and this hotel was perfect for that! The hotel is a 5minute walk from both the strip and BCM-Planet Dance and when in the hotel, no noise is heard from either place, meaning on the few nights we stayed in the hotel we could sleep easily and chill. In the day time, as the hotel is mixed between party go-ers and families, there is peace and time for relaxation as most people were not drinking in the day. Children were playing in and out of the pool and I was able to sleep on my lilo! The pools were great! i could not have asked for more! There was a childs pool were the smaller children played, a larger rounded pool were adults chilled, and a big pool, used for everyone to do what ever they liked. We went self catering, and while we were there people commented that the food was repetative in the restaurant area so DO be careful as local restaurants were cheap anyway - full english breakfast 3euros! The entertainment manager in the hotel works hard. He keeps children amused throughout the day and keeps adults amused of a night time. Our room was 'cosy' meaning we were all sleeping in one room, 2 on a bed, 2 on pull outs and couch, but the beds were all very comfy. We were lucky enough to get a room with a HUGE balcany, but these rooms are limited (around 10 in whole hotel)- our view wasn't great from the balcany but we were in a position of complete privacy! The bathroom was OK with sink, toilet and bath/shower. The bathroom could have done with a revamp but it was adequate. The sink area was spacious for all cosmetics etc, toilet kept clean and the shower was a little faulty so was asif it was throwing up water on us (but felt nice after a hot day :-D). The cleaner came to our room everyday apart from thursday and sunday and she worked hard to keep our room clean. Food around the pool is cheap and the food is nice, but the drinks around the pool and in the bar are very pricey, but we froze water every night keeping them cool all day when we were out. seriously consider self catering for this hotel. I think that is why we all loved the hotel so much! Sunbeds are in sun all day, never stuggled to get a sunbed at any time of the day, pool area kept very clean and umbrellas readily available! Both beaches a 2-5 minute walk away and both very nice. 3euro to hire sunbed, 3euro for umbrella. We all loved this hotel and if i was returning to Magaluff/Palma Nova this is the hotel i would pick (AGAIN), could not have been hapier with it.

Had a fantastic holiday in a privately rented apartment in Cala n Blanes. The apartment was well situated just far enough out of the way to ensure a good nights sleep, but close enough to all th action... Bars, Restaurants , etc.
Cala n Blanes is immaculately clean and I don´t think I can recall ever being in a resort where children and families are so well catered for. Families are made geninely welcome where ever you go.
The town of Ciutadella is within 10 minutes on the bus ( air conditioned and spotlessly clean) or there is a beautiful walk along the coast road, which takes between 45 mins to an hour, depending on the length of your legs!
We found a fab bar, near the blue arch down the slope, called Foxys. A couple called Giles and Amanda have recently bought it, and we were made to feel so comfortable and welcome. We spent most of our evenings there, and wobbled home in the small hours on more than one occasion. For an old fashioned drink and chat, with good music and friendly company, I would recommend you pay them a visit. They also offer a superb range of curry, for Indian food lovers!
Other restaurants we enjoyed were Can Moll, for steaks and Lamb, and Cafe Ponent for tapas and the most spectacular sea views.
Have a great holiday in Cala n Blanes

This was a first class and clean hotel: However with a 10 year old child we expected more evening entertainment, but there was hardly any in the time we where there.
The staff were friendly, and as I said the hotel was clean, and towels changed most days.
The weather was not that good for the end of may, but this hotel has an indoor swimming pool.
I normally holiday on the Costa Del Sol, and Majorca does not IMO measure up to mainland Spain - except that there were lots of English food cafes.
Palma Nova is quite nice and am sure it would have been better in July/August, but I would not go to Majorca again in May.
If you want a clean and comfortable base to stay, then the Rosa Del Mar is for you.
If you like lots of in house entertainment, then it is not.
I am giving a score of 7 because the hotel was clean, and the pool area was up with the best - and the appearance of the hotel was great.
When in Palma Nova - a visit to the Pirates Adventure is a must: The Quarter Deck is expensive - but worth every cent.
This is a value for money hotel, only for the entertainment I would have scored it as a 9.

Stayed at the hotel with my wife and two children aged 5 and 3. The room was ok but nothing special. The kids mini club and disco were very enjoyable for the children and they had a great time on the beach and all the nearby play areas. The breakfasts and the bar area were fine for the family. Everything was fine until the Thursday and our last night the Friday when there were large groups of lads and girls coming out to party which was great for them but not much fun for a family with young children. There was a lot of noise all night until 7.00am, doors banging, and very roudy behaviour in the corridor, allthough the children slept through myself and my wife had two fairly much sleepless nights.Did complain to reception but as it was at the end of our holiday they realy did'nt care at all which was a bit sad as up until then we had a realy great time. Would recomend Palma Nova as a resort but as this Hotel is more or less on the edge of all the clubs in Magaluf don't go if you like sleep.

The hotel itself was very clean and tidy and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I am currently looking forward to my next stay here next year. I recommend this to people of all ages. This hotel was in a great location; you had the choice of spending your time in Palma Nova or Magaluf, and was very close to the beach.
I'm glad we went self catering as the hotel staff were not the most pleasant of people.
The reception staff spoke to us once and that was to put us out of the room. If you’re going self catering it would be a great place to stay. Oh and they have an excellent pool.

This was a good holiday in a very nice resort. Palma Nova has plenty of great places to eat and drink and has a lovely seafront and beach. If you like Magaluf this was a 5 minute walk away also.
However the acommodation was not up to much. Our room was poor. We had our 2 young children (aged 3 and 1) and were horrified when we arrived in our room to find an open electrical switch. This was reported and rectified the the next day but didn't reflect well on the apartments. The glass in the patio doors did not fit properly and so you had to be very careful when opening it. It wasn't toughened glass either.
The pool bar prices were extortionate and the food was poor. The cooking facilities in the room were just about unusable and the plug socket above the sink, which was loose, was very scary!
The staff were pleasant and helpful but the children's entertainment was not so good.
All in all great resort and definitely would go back, but definitely not to these apartments. It was billed as good for families, however there were more young groups staying there, being understandably noisy, than there were families.

We stayed there for 1 week me my wife and 2 children. The rooms where very clean, the staff very helpful and they where great with the kids. It would be hard to get a hotel in a better location for both night life if you want it, or the more peaceful Palma Nova. One of the worst meals we have ever had came from the Godfather, it took a life time to get served and when it arrived it was very disappointing. Sopranos across the road and Goya Viana round the corner where superb.

Me (Duncan) and my darling girlfriend Lucy went on our first proper holiday together to the hotel 'Rosa Del Mar' on the 15th June 2007. This was the perfect resort for us as we are proper ravers, we went to Magaluf every night (only a 5 min walk). The Facilities in the hotel were excellent we particularly enjoyed the pool and snack bar, we recommend trying the slush puppies, really refreshing in the heat!! 36 degrees every day I might add!!! The room was always clean and tidy and the maid was pleasant. The reception and bar staff were good but could have done with knowing a bit more English. As an overall picture I would highly recommend this hotel as we both enjoyed our holiday to the max!!!!!!!!!!

We were delighted with our stay in the Rosa del Mar.
The staff were attentive to your needs, the rooms were kept tidy and towels and beds changed frequently, there were air conditioning controls bed side but not any instructions for use!
The kitchen equipment was adequate and more or less as expected.
Our stay was made that much better by the friendliness of "Paco" the entertainment manager who worked tirelessly with ages of all groups.
Our one complaint was the bar! The staff they seemed to be untrained and did not have much idea of the job they were doing.
Having said that we would not hesitate to return there, the location is ideal for young and old alike!

I can honestly say this holiday was the best holiday myself & my boyfrined have ever experienced, to say we enjoyed outselves is an absolute under statement!
The hotel was beautiful, very clean rooms, not very spacious but it was perfect for us. My only complaint I would say is the walls are very thin, we could here our neighbours getting "friendly" shall we say... lol We had a fair sized balcony which was very private & tidy. The swimming pool area is gorgeous, very spacious, The bar area was really nice too. The staff were lovely & very friendly also.
The beach was just around the corner, beautiful & very clean & because we went in May wasn't too over crowded. There are many restraunts on the beach front, which were very reasonablely priced, & good value for money. There wasn't a meal we didn't enjoy. Plenty of shops too, we got our shopping from Spar.
Magaluf is literally 5 minutes away, it is that close so its ideal for clubbing if your looking for the night life, which is another reason why we chose Palma Nova. We had the time of our lives, & we would go back there again in the future.
