Sinah Warren Hotel

My friends and I have just spent the weekend at Sinah Warren. One of us had had the Warners experience before, the rest of us had not. How pleasantly surprised we were. For just under £40 a day we got dinner, bed and breakfast, a comfortable hotel, the most friendly staff I have ever come across ..... and a gluten free chef for my friend! She has never been to such an accomodating restaurant before and the presence of Andy, running through each item on the menu telling her what she could and could not eat, gluten free bread and sauces (don't laugh, it can be a real problem) just made her weekend.
We had a chat with the lovely Katie who was on the entertainment staff - and she taught a fun line dancing class - and our waitress (we were on table 59 if management are reading this!) was also fantastic. Once again, I have never met hotel staff who were so nice - it was so refreshing to get good customer service from everyone. Well done Sinah Warren, you get 10/10 from me.

I visited the Sinah Warren in Hayling Island for a 2 day leisure break at beginning of August. What the brochure or website did not reveal is that the hotel is very much geared to older people-65+. The running of the hotel, i.e the entertainment and timing of the meals, by and large, are designed to meet the needs of elderly people.dinner starts at 6 and finishes at 7.30. Warner Hotel group advertises its hotels for 'Adults only' . My understanding of 'Adult' is anybody who is 18+, however the vast majority of residents during my stay were 70+, with a large proportion of these needing additional assistance to get around. Warner hotels publish glossy brochures and flyers showing 'younger' people enjoying the facilities at the hotel but anybody under the age of 65 years was definitely in the minority. I feel I was given the wrong impression of the hotel when I booked for my leisure break and feel the hotel should be a little more transparent about the clientele it attracts. I have no objection to spending time with older people and I do not believe this is an 'ageist' issue, I just would expected to spend my time with a broader age range of people with entertainment and facilities to match!
