Stayed for one night on 10.11.07. Room was clean and a good enough size, double bed a little on the small size, and everything worked. There are few bargains to be had in the accommodation business in the UK, and at around 65 pounds per night, I think I got appropriate value. The Holiday Inn Express brand is a bit like travelling on Ryanair. The business model is the same, with everything being provided as cheaply as possible, so you get a small TV, furniture, fixtures and fittings that are cheap, poor quality towels and bed linen, and a buffet breakfast that's sub-motorway service station standards. But it's a new-ish building, the staff are just this side of civil and helpful, and if your expectations are no more than this, then you'll find the hotel adequate for the job and at the price I paid, it's roughly what I'd expect.
