On arrival the staff are friendly and helpful, the reception/bar area is clean and tidy with lots of seating and a widescreen TV.
The room was extremely clean and tidy, more than enough room for the 2 of us, coffee & tea making facilities, a hairdryer and plenty of clean towels.The bed was very comfortable.Bathroom was lovely with sparkling clean sink,toilet and shower and also quite large.
The bedroom was nicely decorated not the stark bare walls that are usual in these types of hotels. All in all very welcoming and well worth the money we paid.
We would stay here again anytime, in fact I think a return visit for next years BTCC racing at Donnington and HW Moderators get together is already planned and we WILL be staying here again.
Many Thanks to the bar staff who always had a smile for our relentless trips to the bar...( for coffee ) of course... heh.
It was bed and breakfast, Breakfast was continental with plenty of fresh bread,jams, and cerial available, and lots of coffee to wake us up after a very ,,,very late night.
My one and only grumble is there was one toaster available which was slightly tempramental and bellowed smoke out every few minutes.
Apart from that the stay was perfect. Thanks to the staff for making us welcome.

Stayed here for just one night whilst attending the British Touring Cars at Donnington. Family of 3.
Room was a bit on the small side for 3, but as we were only there for one night, it really didn't matter. Room was clean and decor looked fairly new. Tea & coffee facilities in room adequate. There was also a TV in the room.
Bathroom was clean and had complimentary amenities. Shower cubical only, didn't mind that, it was clean. The crazy thing with the bathroom door had us all fascinated. The loo was in the same room as the shower.... but the door to the " bathroom" also closed the loo in..... and also separated the bathroom from the room. It's mad. You will just have to stay there to understand what I mean.
Check was swift and friendly. The lobby lead into the bar area. It had a light and airy feeling to it. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The bar/lounge area stayed open till very late, as far as I can recall, it was gone 1am when we vacated.
Breakfast was continental and ample. Cereals, breads, croissants, yoghurt's and fruits. Tea and coffee... coffee needed after the late night. As previously stated, the toaster was a tad temperamental.
Across the road from the hotel are a few restaurants and pubs, all within walking distance.. This helped as the hotel did not provide any dining options.
I would stay here again for the night, it was clean, comfortable and friendly.
Would stay again if the opportunity arose.
