Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach Hotels

Flew to Miami and got the train to Fort Lauderdale. This was very easy as there is a shuttle from Miami International to the Tri-Rail station. Cruise to the Bahamas with Discovery Cruise Line which I would thoroughly recommend.
The food was excellent, the service was excellent and the crossing was very smooth - helped by several rum punches. On arrival at the Port we got a taxi to the hotel, Viva Fortuna Beach. Check in was very pleasant and we had our red all inclusive bands on a wrists within minutes.
Our room was quite basic but clean with an on-suite bathroom but unfortunately no bath. The food was fantastic, we were there over Valentines Day and they laid on a special banquet. The only down-side was the attitude of the bar staff, as we were all inclusive we did not carry any money and therefore they did not get any tips.
The American's that were on holiday at the same time got far better service but this was due to the amount of tips they gave the staff. The evening entertainment was really good and the staff worked very hard. The beach was idyllic although there are several woman trying to sell their beads, sarongs, jewelry etc but if you said no they didn't pester you too much.
All in all it was a fantastic holiday, my 10 year old son was in tears when we left as he had such a good time in the children's club.
