This was our second visit to the hotel and we enjoyed it as much as the first time we went. The food was very good, room small but cleaned daily, the staff could not do enough for you.The location was away from all the noise and about 20 min walk to town.We will definately be going back.

LOVED IT !!!!
Myself and my family have just spent two great weeks at the Magico Bronzo. First, okay the rooms are pretty basic, and could do with a bit of a paint, but are cleaned every day, but lets be honest how long do you spend in your room. Yes, the food was basic, but there was always something to eat, even for my fussy husband. The bar staff and restaurant staff were always helpful, and polite. The pool area was cleaned by the bar staff on a regular basis, there was never any glasses lying about. the entertainment staff were 1st class. Kept the kids and adults amused for hours on end. Only complaint would have to be that the water slide was only on for half an hour twice a day. If you wanted to go into town it was only a 15 min walk, where you would find lots of bars, restaurants and shops. All in all we had a great time, and made lots of new friends, both from the hotel and othe holiday makers. We will be returing to the Majico Bronzo, and hopefully have another great holiday.
turkey is great!
our 1st ever trip to turkey and certainly not our last! we stayed at the magico bronzo and could not fault it one bit our room was cleaned every day also fresh towels everyday what more could you ask for as for the food well it was different you really should not be fussy and give almost everything a try if you dont like it well you will know next time there is always plenty to choose from! the staff are so nice to everyone they like a good carry on the animation team are brilliant as well we enjoyed ourselves so much in this part of turkey we are planning to return next year to magico bronzo so give it a try i am sure you will love it good luck
Mostly Crap! No Lies!!
This is the most accurate and non-biased review you will read on club magico bronzo so please read all. First problem arose even before me and better half arrived at the hotel as we pulled up outside 'the pink palace' "our new hotel" as the 'bronzo was fully booked. After half hour or argueing and refusing to move they agreed to take us the magico. Upon arrival receptionist was arrogant, unsympathetic and basically told us a load of lies while we were waiting to be dealt with or given room. After claiming the manager and our rep' would be no longer than 15mins - 2 hours later just I was about to seriously lose my head he puts a piece of paper and says fill it in - asked what is was? its a form for your room! I couldnt believe it they made us wait more than 2hours to give us a room that was always there after claiming we would have to wait 2DAYS!! for a room. (still no apology by the way from manager, receptionist or rep.) ROOM ----- After eventually being given a room, the toilet was constantly dripping causing the toilet to constantly refill the tank and unable to flush which was very noisey(especially when you havnt slept in over a day) complained twice(and numerous phone calls home to get on to travel company back home) they finally came to fix it aswell as the tv and the stiff balcony door. Towels N Sheets changed daily and presented nicely. 1 bed was wonky and the shower took some fiddling with to get it warm. So room was basic but live-able once problems were eventually fixed. FOOD ---- 1st day everything was terrible, tasted stale, dry and like it had been there for hours or not cooked. It did improve but I dont think it could have got any worse. They had some rubbish combinations for dinner like spaghetti and chips(chips being the 1 constantly with every meal, even breakfast) and the combinations seemed like a mixture of yesterdays left overs and often tasted so. You cant order food outside the times scheduled and ice creams and crisps are not free at any time and bar a little shop(a closet room on side of the hotel) the only other option is a 15minutes walk into town. DRINK ---- Beer was fine considering it was free, the wine was strong and not bad in taste. And soft drinks were fine but sometimes warm as they were left in dispensers as they were self service. ENTERTAINMENT/ STAFF ---- Reception staff and managers I have already mentioned above. Waiters were some time inpatient in wanting to clear your table and never asked if I was finished before my plate or glass was gone. BUT the entertainment staff was the hotels only positive point sonic, gadget, jon jon were always positive and smilling, encouraging people to participate in pool side activities are by far the most welcoming and if you want something GO TO THEM!! there was also a girl on the entertainment staff, mainly looked after the childrens activities but still seem to find room to make a slightly bitchy comment to my girlfriend - My representive from Trust Accomodation (called engim) at first seemed helpful but after declining the offer of going on any exercusions his attitude soon turned sour and quiet aggresive after he noticed we didnt write an all to flattering comment in the guest book. HIGHLIGHT ---- The 15minute walk into hisaronu is deffinatly worth it, the food there is fantastic and so cheap you give the bill a second look and there is plently of options from cocktail bars - restaurents (english-chinese-italian they'l do whatever you as the competition is so strong out there) - karaoke bars- nightclubs and shops. and all staff are welcoming and friendly once your in their establishment but you can get a little pestered by promotion people outside restaurents but only if they are again friendly enough and respect your wishes if you decline any offer they make. OVERALL ---- Was a decent trip made only good by the town of hisaronu and the never faltering attitude of my girlfriend not to let the hotel spoil our holiday that made it a holiday worth looking back on as an good experience with things and people that I'l miss. Hope its helpful to y'all.
love turkey
hi to all at magico bronzo,my son and i went to this hotel for the first time in june2005 it was that good we went back 2 june this year with my 2 grandsons. they have been to disney world florida twice and said magico bronzo was better, i cannot fault the hotel or staff as they made our 2 weeks unforgettable, they treated us like family, my oldest son and his wife have been for a few years now and friends they met all keep in touch + go back every year, and are now my friends aswell. i cannot understand the complaints about food as i am the worst person to please in that department but sali the chef went out of his way to see i ate food i liked, also the staff across the board were fantastic, even to the point of gadget frm joy entertainment took me into town on sonics scooter to buy a bag 1hr before we were due to leave that is above the call of duty, nothing is to much trouble for them, not just the hotel staff but all the turkish people are so helpfull and friendly and honest that i dont believe for one moment that anything was stolen from the poolside as one friend left 300 pounds in a bag and we left ipods and sunglasses at the pool they were never touched there are to many people around and they would have been seen. any way back to the holiday we are going back in september so see you all soon all are love tess,ian,john-allan,and liam xxxxxxxxx
Fantastic
We have been going to this hotel for 4 years (six times to date) and have made many friends through the hotel including the staff who work there. Last year we took my Mum and my Brother and because it was the first time my Mum had been abroad and she is typical English (Eastenders, Coronation Street and english food) we were a little bit worried as to whether she wopuld enjoy it or not. I need not worried as she was overwhelmed with the hospitality of the people who work there and the friendly atmosphere from around the pool and bar area, so much so she couldn't wait to go again this year. Anybody who goes to this hotel can't fail to enjoy it, providing you give it a chance. If there is anything you need all you have to do is speak to the staff and they will sort it for you if they can. All the staff are friendly and approachable from the hotel manager to the cleaner. The animation team really go out of their way to ensure you enjoy yourself either by the way of participation or just sitting there watching the entertainment. The very first year we went we met a lot of people from all over the country and we keep in touch and organise when we can go back and meet up. There is also a lot of familiar faces who are repeat guests - it is like a big family! Hope to see all the staff and our friends very soon. Paul, Debbie and Emily (Liverpool)
I love the magico bronzo
A few people complain about this hotel, but as we all say you get what you pay for and everyone in this hotel, from the manager to the cleaner, go out of there way to help. We have been going to this hotel for several years and have met a lot of people and made friends and we all meet up evey year, I have to say that our group gets bigger every year. You cannot fail to enjoy youself here, the entertainment team, Sonic, Gadget and Naz are brilliant you have agreat laugh with them.Itook my daughter and her friend who are both22, at first they didnt want to go with me, finally they decided to come as i needed help with my 1yr, old grandaughter, when we left the hotel after our 2weeks they were crying, so we are all going back september. What i say is if you want English food then holiday in England dont go to another country and complain, also if you want a 5star then go and pay the extra, this hotel gives great valuefor what you pay..Keep up the good work at Magico Bronzo you get better every year we all love you.from AUDREY, jEMMA, CARMEL, BABY FRANCESCA and all our friends
This hotel is like Marmite...
This hotel is like Marmite you either love it or hate it. POSITION Magico is on the edge of Ovacik off the main road at the end of partially made road. It is a good 15 minute walk to the town centre. THE HOTEL is in need on refurbishment. The balcony area of the restaurant area is in particular need of the wood being treated as it is splitting and peeling. The grass needs cutting and the gardens, such as the are, need attention. The pool is too full and overflows soaking your towel and belonging if you are on a sunbed . The water chute is only active for a few minutes every day and is not correctly adjusted to facilitate sliding. People stick half way. Many of the sunbeds are cracked and damaged. The ouside bar area is noisy with blareing 'music' in the evenings up unitl the all-inclusive package finishes at midnight. The music is a bit more subdued in the daytime but does get loud and irritating at times. Thank Apple for IPODS! The entertainment is dire. Karaoke twice in the week we were there and Bingo for prizes once. Endless pool tournaments and darts. The turkish bath is very nice looking (a massage costs 10.00 the same as in a 'real' turkish bath in the area). The sauna is too hot. The shower door doesn't lock. The many marble steps up to the restaurant and around the hotel generally are slippery when wet. FOOD Being vegetarian I seldom have high hopes of food in abroad but I was quite content with the array of (mostly) fresh bread and salads. Breakfast was typically Turkish with cheese salad, yoghurt, jams, creals, bread (hard to cut to actually fit in the toaster) boiled eggs and omletes. It would have been better f the omlettes were cooked to order rather than cooked as and when the chef felt like it and left piled up on a heated pan. I don't eat eggs but my husband said the omelettes were tough if left to stand There was a lot of using up leftovers from the day before to make salads. Has anyone ever had sprout salad or chips made into a cooked tomatoe based salad? I was never able to eat the main courses as they were either fish or meat of some There were pide some evenings which looked OK but I stuck to salads. The desserts were factory made sponge cakes, syrup soaked local pastries and occasionally fruit. There was always chips and burgers for the afternon snacks which went down well with other guests, one small girl having 5 plates of chips at one sitting. DRINK The beer was fine (not a cheap variety as I have had in Spain) as was the red and white wine on tap at the bar and restaurant. The local spirits were OK but there was only fizzy orange or lemonade/cola as mixers. No tonic for the gin and no fruit juices to make cocktails. There was bottled water available at the bar and restaurant. The tea cups were tiny. THE ROOM The rooms are shabby but clean-ish. The curtains are not heavy enough to keep out the sunlight. There was mould in the shower area and the floor gets soaked despite ones best efforts. The showers do not attatch properly to the wall and have to be hand held. The TV has one English chanel (BBC World) and 2 Turkish with no satellite. The bed linen was weird the sheets were single ones on a double bed. The linen blankets were holed and shabby. The air-con was fine but not really needed as the evenings were on the chilly side. STAFF The restaurant staff were friendly enough but it was irritating of the waiting staff to keep clearing your table when you were half way through eating, especially removing your glass so you had to go and get another one rather than re-fill the one you were using. There were a lot of them. I can understand that people will go back to a hotel when they like the staff. PROBLEMS A fellow guest had money, cam corder and sunglasses stolen from the pool area. I am sure the staff wouldn't touch them so I can only say beware of your fellow guests and don't leave your valuables unattended. I had a similar experience in Cyprus when my son's Game Boy was stolen. SUMMARY. You get what you pay for. A week at the Magico will cost you around 200.00 all inclusive which is what a sceduled air-fare would. If you like a noisy atmosphere with small children running around until midnight, basic food, drink and accomodation it will suit you fine. After all you don't have to eat there all the time. For the price you could use it as a base and go into Hisaronu , which has a huge variety of places to eat.
Great Hotel Great People
Well what can we say, our family love this hotel! We love it so much we are returning AGAIN this year for the 7th time! The hotel has had some pretty bad reviews, however if you travel to Turkey expect turkish cusine! Dont be afraid to try any new foods. As for the chef, at Magico he is always happy to cook anything in specific if you ask! Maids are brilliant, they clean your room everyday and even leave pretty flowers on your bed, not to mention fold you nightie up on the bed in a love heart.... Staff - well we could write pages, we have very close friends at magico and our family feels privaliged to have them as friends. One staff member in paricular, who our family has becme very fond off and enjoyed every minute with him at christmas, in our home! he knows who he is! Overall all the staff do all they can to make our stays wonderful, they bend over backwards to ensure you are happy. My daughter is absolutly besoted with this hotel and and is returning in June 2006 with friends and again in August 2006 alone! Turkey has many places to offer old and young alike but this hotel makes your stay in Turkey that extra special. see you soon guys x
i cant wait to go back
this will be my 3rd tim going to magico bronzo and everytime i go i have the best time and end up crying when i have to go home. all i can say is the food is turkish but if its your first time after 2 days you will be fine i have beeen learning turkish for over a year as they hotel gave me an insperation and i met some fantastic people. the bedding is damp as it is done in the mornings so whn you go to sleep at night it is vquite cold which affects with the sheets i really cant wait till augast till im there for 2 weeks!! all i can say is the joy animation team are great and me and naz ring and text each other all the time
Do not bother
This hotel is NOT a 3*hotel , the food area is covered with wasps flying around or rather landing on most of the food ,while we were there most people had some form of illness after two days including sickness, diorreah or both .The beds were changed daily as were the towels, but the linen had holes in and the towels were damp and if you had a room above yours when its occupants had a shower so did your room as the water came down through the ceiling.I did tell reception this as did others but nothing was done about it.In reception there was a comments book and it makes very interesting reading ,i do not think many people will be returning next year unless alot of changes are made ,we will not thats for sure.
