very dissapionted with this hotel it was not a 4star hotel infact its a very basic 1/2 star we were misled/miss sold on this holiday and will be makeing a complaint to the travel agent the first room i was offered on the ground floor was the pitts it was dark and mouldy we have taken photos of this we moved to another block on second floor clean but basic as for the food ai what a joke limited joice cold food flys all over we have had stomach upsets for the whole two weeks so have other guests the shower just trickled with water so had to rinse hair under the tap twice the repair man asked me to get out of shower so he could mastic around the tiles because ithe water was running down to the bedroom below 3 times i had to chase the maid for towels my husband got a shock off the bed side lamp the air con barely kept the room cold infact it was a waste of money when you complain at reception they make a note of it but nothing gets done so basicaly they ignore you as for the bar being ai if you like vodka gin lager or wine thats it nothing else loads of things i could complain about the way this hotel was run any one who has give this hotel a good rateing must be easily pleased the only thing in favour for this hotel was the staff were friendly

We took our granddaughter , for a week of sun and relaxation.
read the reviews but decided to chance it.
If you are inflexible, fussy and a moaner then please don't go.
We have been to lots of places but the flies on the food put me off. We always ate early so that the food had not had much time hanging about.
We didn't get upset tummies, ate sensibly and didn't drink too much or roast ourselves in the heat.
The food is repetitive, and a bit boring, but there is plenty, and they do seem to try quite hard to produce good tasting food, especially the salads.
Our 13 year old granddaughter, sad to say , lived on chips and pasta for most of the week topped up with chicken/ turkey and occasional salad and very occasionally fruit, with a few cakes thrown in. But that was her choice, and she survived!!
If you have been to Spain all inclusive you will be disappointed with the all inclusive interpretation of this Hotel chain.
The staff must be horrified at the amount of food wasted.
The entertainment team were always very polite and made an effort.
All the staff were generally great, not too pushy.
We paid extra for the aircon, vital, the room maid was very nice, and deserved her tip, although I would have liked her to have washed the bathroom floor just the once at least.
Had to walk to the top of the road to buy a decent newspaper, the Sun or nothing in the little shop,
We noticed that they collected up the airbeds etc which were left at the end of each day by the pool, and re-sold them as new!!
However, could go on with lots of nit-picking , but overall we got wht we paid for, comfy beds, hot weather , and had a very good week.It was worth what we paid and no more.
We booked very last minute and paid a pretty good price.
If I had booked in advance at full price, my comments would be VERY different.!!
The main thing to remember is that this is NOT a STAR rated hotel it is a SUN rating which is the hotel chain's own estimate or the tour operator's estimate.
Regards the attitude of the staff towards people complaining, we saw enough in that week to feel very embarassed at the way some holidaymakers behave.
If you travel with Onur air, provide your own food,in both directions and buy frozen water at the shop .It will still be chilled for the flight.
they charge £3.50 !!! for a can of coke, REALLY really expensive for all buffet choices.
You can buy meal deals etc if there is a Boots at a good price once you have gone airside on the way out, and at Dalaman airport you can buy loads of fast food choices, at a price.- and a half!!
We had a kfc meal deal of some crispy strips, chips and a coke and 3 pieces of chicken for £20.00!!!gosh, it tasted good, and did wonders for the granddaughter's mood !!( you know, she didn't ant to go, and then she didn't want to come home !)

We have just returned from a holiday at the Litera Fethiye Relax Hotel in Turkey. During this holiday we encountered a number of interlinked problems which no one should have to encounter on their holiday!
These problems began on our first day where money was stolen from our safe. The safe hadn't been smashed open and nothing else was taken other than a small amount of money (not even all of the money). The manager of the hotel was not helpful when approached, infact he was very rude.
A day later we found out that we were not the only victims as more and more people began to give the same complaint, loosing amounts of money between £30 and £200. Again the manager was approached and yet again was not helpful. He admited to us that this has been happening throughout he season, but still nothing had been done to help or change this situation. As more and more people arrived at reception he finally called the local police due to serious amounts of complaints. We then spent the whole evening with them trying to resolve the problem. During this time the manager voiced his opinion that "all english are liars!" and that we were all making it up to claim money on our insurance. clearly not the case when the money we lost was less than our insurance excess. Certainly not the way a manager should of addressed the problem.
During this time we then found out, along with other holiday guests, that the room keys open more than just your own door! yet another serious security issue! Infact my partner, with guests permission, attempted and succeeded to open 5 other rooms with our key.
Even staff with regret explained that the problem was ongoing and happened throughout the hotel in previous weeks. BUT YET NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE!!
The way in which the safes were broken into pointed to it beening an inside job, someone who had a room key and keys to the safe.
As this problem occurred on the first day it spoiled our whole holiday and I imagine many others. After this we didn't feel safe and was always scared to go back to the room incase someone was there. We feel that this hotel should not be used, especially not as a four star rating!!!

This was our second visit to the hotel and we enjoyed it as much as the first time we went. The food was very good, room small but cleaned daily, the staff could not do enough for you.The location was away from all the noise and about 20 min walk to town.We will definately be going back.

Arrived and room was small and dingy, had two single beds not a double. No beverage facilities so could not make tea or coffee even. The satalite tv was a portable tv with only 4 channels and 3 of them were Turkish. The bathroom was disgusting as it had mould all around the shower.
The view was blocked by a huge tree and the music by the pool was way too loud for us.
The food was a health and safety breach due to re-warmed food from the previous day and not much choice and we spent more money visiting restaurants in the town (which was lovely).
The staff were very ignorant and only served certain people when a few were at the bar, the drinks were also watered down and only a few local drinks were on the menu for all inclusive.
The rep Matthew was unhelpful and did not care less and did not portray his company well, as the amount of complaints given to him the first week, we knew there was a serious problem.
Do not go to this hotel!!!

we have just returned from turkey, and can i just say we had a great time, the staff at the relax hotel were so friendly and fun, the head waiter, Hero was the life and soul of the week,he worked very hard and very long hours, but still managed to keep all of his guests happy, he entertained us all week with different tricks and jokes, the entertainments team led by Cihan, or as we called him jon jon also done an amazing job all week with pool games and turkish belly dancers, the fun never stopped all week, the goldtrail reps were so helpfull with everything especially, Matty and Nicky, got me paragliding, and my girlfriend swiming with dolphins, not to mention the day trips out which were all great fun, wot a great holiday, we cant wait to get back there, and will travel with goldtrail again, thanks again to,TOM,HREO,JON JON,TURGAY, all the rest of the staff, and MATTY, and NICKY, the goldtrail reps

My partner and myself stayed at the Fethiye Relax during May half term. We had a wonderful, relaxing, hysterical and enjoyable week. We found the hotel to be a very honest hotel. The rooms were basic but very clean with fresh towels daily and rooms cleaned and made also. The pool and bar areas were spotless and constantly tidied by the friendly staff who could not do enough for the guests. The food was plentiful and a very good standard. It was fresh, healthy and with a few local delicacies. It would not appeal to those who gorge on junk british food. The tables were constantly cleaned and tidied with staff here who were also very polite, respectful and friendly. There were plenty of staff in the hotel and they were all very hard working. Drinks (wine, beer, soft drinks, water and local spirits) were freely available until 11pm daily.
The entertainment staff were brilliant fun. The daytimes hosted waterpolo and table tennis tournaments with Bingo (what a scream!), Karaoke and quizzes in the evening. Jon Jon and Sait involved those guests who were willing to get involved and made welcome everyone. There were plenty of bars, restaurants and cruises if you wanted a change of scenery.
Our Goldtrail Rep Matty was the most down to earth rep who was honest and extremely helpful. Matty went out of his way to organise things outside his remit.
We would definately return to this hotel and recommend the Fethiye Relax to family and friends.

Booked last minute for my myself ,wife and 2 15yr old girls, then read reviews and wondered if we had made a huge mistake.
Gladly we had'nt.
Thoroughly enjoyed 7 night stay.
Room basic but clean, linen changed regularly, Bathroom facilities all worked well with hot and cold water plentiful.
Meals excellent plenty of choice, salads first class, fresh baked bread every evening and everything for the sweet toothed..
Staff great, very friendly and always helpful.
Location good with picturesque mountain background. Hisaranou 5 minute bus ride and Fethiye harbour 20 minutes.
Would definately return .

just back from hotel was a bıt dubıous after readıng revıews but let me tell you thıs ıs a fantastıc place.we loved ıt and got a fantastıc deal. the staff are so frıendly and the rep matt ıs excellent always there for advıce and any help you need.the food was good too especıally the bar b qs .dont let the revıews put you off thıs place ıs great and we are comıng back ın september. a tıp ıf you want 5 star pay 5 star prıces

We booked a holiday to Turkey in May 08 for September 2008. We paid only £350 pp for the week on all inclusive. When we got there, we were greeted by a dark dingy reception and given a room on the bottom floor which had a door to a terrace which was too short (there was a gap of about half a foot at the door). The whole room had black dots all over the walls and ceilings and when we looked closely, they were actually mosquitoes. We went to get another room straight away which wasnt much better. It was mouldy, dirty overlooking a dirt track road with holes dug in. The field across had horses in which were quite noisy. The food was served cold, sloppy, left overs, mush, no labels on, mixed up and disgusting. I feed my dog better food than what was served to us. The entertainment was bingo, every night, or karaoke. There was one night however we were treated to the fire show, which was all the chefs walking around the pool with a stick that was on fire! no joke! Another night they treated to a local man who sold pirate copied dvds. Not my kind of entertainment. The slide which was in the corner had rusted steps and was a bit dodgy, and the whole of the pool surround was dirty grubby and stinking and the sunbeds were black with peoples sweat and they stunk! The bar was grotty and the measures were stingy, they spirits could not get you drunk no matter how much you tried, and you could only get two drinks at a time, meaning if you were in a group of four, two of you had to go.... very annoying. We complained numerous times and actually spoke to the manager who was ignorant and rude. He ripped off our friends bands at 12 noon the day they were to depart, as they stated the all inclusive ended and they werent entitled to any more free goods. Around the hotel were mesh baskets with dead fish heads in to attract flies. They were dirty and smelly and looked disgusting. The whole of the hotel was awful..... it was the worst hotel I have ever been too. Honest! It was that bad we complained again and again and got nowhere, so we ended up being on watchdog on the BBC in March becasue of this and tried to get our money back. Although it is cheap to go, I still want to be kept safe and in a clean environment. For people that go and say its 10/10..... I just dont get it!!! PLEASE DONT GO!!!! BE WARNED!
