I have to admit when i read some of the reviews before going on this holiday i was quite concerned & wasnt really looking forward to going.However we had a really nice holiday & would return there again. I will agree with some of the reviews that the rooms could do with up dating. The holiday was sold to us as a 4* all incl but only later did we find out that it was what they call a 4sun rating of which 7 sun is the highest, that would explain the level of standard of the rooms, they were clean, the maids came every day & give plenty of clean towells, but the room it self was very basic. def not what i would call 4*. The pool was fab, my 10yr old son loved the slide, & joined in in the pool activites every day with "Jon Jon". The staff were friendly & very helpfull. The food was again a bit basic but we all enjoyed it & most nights went back up for seconds. The hotel was well located & it suited us as we were only 5-10 min walk to Hisaronu which had loads of shops, bars & restaurants with lots going on. Also the hotel provides a free 10 min bus ride to the blue lagoon beach which was really nice & Fethiye market was only about 15 mins bus ride away, it had loads of stalls & we had loads of bargins. On a whole we all really enjoyed the holiday!! (with a fab tan too)

Well what can I say, when me and my wife was shown the room we sought to return home as early as possible the room was disgusting, The Goldtail rep didn’t have a clue on how to satisfy all the criticism that night not just from us but from at least 7 other holiday makers of this week.
The food complex was at least 300 yards away from the room was in, and when we went to eat that evening there was Fly’s/wasps in the food. For this reason we took our meals outside the complex. What should have been a 2 week holiday turned out to 7 days of additional cost?
Outside of the complex Turkish people were very helpful. I think the owner of Goldtrail should spend a couple of days there and for him to give a true and honest summary of this hotel, sorry it’s NOT a HOTEL it’s the pits
PS The Goldtrail rep agreed with all the complaints from us last week, she also agreed that is this Hotel sold is a 3 star in the holiday book. When in fact it’s a 3 star sun rating? The other 2 Goldtrail resorts in this area were in fact no better. This holiday resort has been sold with Deception/Fraud in mind.

Now I went to this hotel last year but i am only writing something now.Don't be worried about other comments made that say it was horrible as it was actually very good and im not just saying that. The bad thing about this holiday was that we got pushed into another hotel at first just about 7mins away from Magico Bronzo. But went there to eat and relax. But we would not stand for this and demanded a room and we got one. Also as a compensation we got a free boat trip offered and we took it, it was wonderfull you could get Fish-just caught, Chicken and Spag Bol All cooked on the boat. On the top deck there was a slide and we stoped of to have a swim it was very enjoyable. Now back to the hotel the food was good and the pool was a very good size and always clean. We went into the turkish bath every night instead of showering in our rooms the turkish bath is very good. The rooms were very clean and fresh towels and sheets every day the maids made pretty shapes with our towels one made a swan and they put petals all over it which made the room much nicer. We went to the little cafe across the road about 3 times just for a change you could get chips and cheese burgers. The entertainment was good they did try it was especially good for the liitle ones and all im saying is a holiday can be anything as you can make it the best holiday or the worst. :)

I have just returned from a week at the Litera Fethiye Relax resort in Turkey. Before i went i read a number of comments on trip advisor which had me a little worried about the hotel and the surroundings, after visting the hotel and area for myself i found these comments were rubbish. The hotel was clean, there was a variety of food each day, the pool was large and clean, the staff were exceptionally friendly, and there was always entertainment provided.
There are a number of complaints on this site regarding the rooms being dirty and small...im sorry but nobody visiting this resort have payed mass amounts of money, therefore really doesnt have a the right to complain so much, and anyway who wants to be in their room alot whilst in a warm country, where you can relax and take in the scenary of Turkey.
The myths about the all inclusive status is untrue also, the free drinks stop at 11, and after that you have to pay. The is explained to you when you first arrive at the hotel, many people tried to abuse this, and therefore the staff will not serve lots and lots of drinks to each person just before this time. I dont find this unreasonable what so ever.
I would really advice anybody to visit the area, and stay in this hotel, i had an amazing time, and was very sad to go.

What can we say, we would not recommend any one to stay in this dustbin. This is a 2* at best, we have been on cheap and cheerful holidays before, but this is cheap and awful, it is the worst place we have had the misfortune in staying in. The rooms are awful, the bed for my daughter was a mattress on the floor, for which we paid full price for ! the bathroom was appalling, when anyone had a shower the water went everywere as the drain was badly block with hair, the food, well, we would strongly recommend that you eat out, as many people have had upset stomachs, including my partner. The pool is not checked daily and after 3 days, it looked more like pea soup as it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo murkey that you couldn't see the bottom. they did not put any chemicals in the water until a week later. We compained on the third night to move rooms, as my daughter and I didn't get to sleep until after 3am due to bar staff drinking and flirting with the guests opp. our room. We did some investigation and we where told that other people have been very upset with the standard of the hotel and rooms, people moved to other hotels and one couple even paid extra to fly home a week earlier rather than staying for the full two weeks that they had booked.

nothing but false advitisment from gold trail! we were told that we would have a bath in the "bathroom" where was it i have no idea also i have never seen a bathroom so small . We were promised a view from the balcony of the pool or mountains. when we looked out from the balcony we could see trees and nothing else. oh and we had the horrible smell of sewage near by!.
There was a leak in the shower when we went and told someone at reception surprisingly someone did actually come out but only to put some sort of bucket up there to catch the water so it didnt come down. this attracted alot of mosqitos. the repellant we bought didn't work very well.
the only possotive thing about the room would be bed sheets and towels were cleaned daily, allthough the floor didnt get mopped.
The pool was a good size, as for the slide it was open about 3times a day we were told that if they kept it on it would break down. iv never heard anything like it, the staff were friendly. be carefull at the bar they like to change the time on there clock when it comes to 10:50pm they change it to 11pm so you have to pay for drinks. whilst we were staying they made new rules up as they went along one was 2 drinks per person so if you wanted to get drinks for everyone on your table you had to get someone else to come aswell. they then made another one up no cup no drink.
For allinclusive the food was ok. accept one afternoon we went for dinner and there was ants in the tomotoes . but the resturant staff did try there best and worked hard.
The entertainment wasnt to bad! there was something everynight but to much loud music theres also a near by mosk so be prepared for religious music at 3am in the morning if your a light sleeper prepare to be woke up!
This hotel is no way near a 4* i agree with other people its more like a 2* maybe not even that!
If your thinking about booking for this hotel id think again. oh and be carefull it changes its name we booked it under the lithera fethiye relax being told it has had recent changes , what changes they are il never no!

After returning from this all inclusive holiday i can honestly say that this hotel is the pits.
The rooms are not very clean and some of them stink. The food was, well i would'nt even call it food, was slop, what ever was left you would get for your following meal. The drinks were watered down and you are only allowed 2 drinks at a time. It states that ice cream is in included in your package which is a load of rubhebish, the pool tables for the kids you have to pay for. Gumbet itself is a nice resort but as for the hotel i wont be going back.

This is a two star by British standards but overall the hotel was clean, and the staff went out of their way to help you. The average Turkish monthly wage is £125 per calendar month!
I can't understand why British people who choose to visit Turkey, expect British food, and staff to speak English. We are visiting their country. There is a duty for we British to make some effort to understand their culture and customs.
The food was fantastic, various Turkish dishes and some British style dishes too. Plenty of opportunity to book extra trips and activities.
The rooms were indeed basic but were clean and maintained daily by the chamber maids. Who intends to spend most of their holiday in the room when it is 45C/120F in the shade by day?
I did have a problem with the room booking arrangements caused by our agent in the UK which was resolved promptly by the hotel.
Learn a couple of Turkish words like please and thank you and it will get you a long way.

Hi, my mum and i have just arrived back from this hotel. We had a very good time there is a lot to do outside of the hotel at very good prices. The hotel is not what we would have called a 4 star more like a 2 star, but clean, staff friendly and we throught the food was very nice. when we were there a few people were complaining about some things but nothing serious, and when they did complain things were put right. We met some great people and i think your holiday is what you make it.

I stayed at the Litera Fethiye Relax for 7 Nights from May the 12th with a friend. We booked through Goldtrail and only payed £270 pp all inclusive. I found the food had enough choice for everyone and was layed out nicely. The pool was large enough and plenty of sun loungers. Yes, the rooms are basic but they were comfortable enough and clean. I agree with the other reviews that it does not deserve 4* but in my opinion you get what you pay for. The goldtrail rep was pleasent but only seen her once in the week. The hotel is a 5 min walk from the main road of Ovacik which has buses running to Fethiye and Olu Deniz and its only a ten minute walk to Hisaronu which has so many great restaurants and bars. The staff at the hotel were brilliant and the Bar Manager Hassan would go out of his way to help and the head barman Serkan was always smiling, they work extremely hard and deserve more credit. There wasn't much going on but Jon Jon ( entertainment guy) tried his best with water polo and surfing etc.
Overall I enjoyed my week at the hotel and will be going back September.
