This is a lovely, well cared for campsite with beautiful surroundings. The family that run it are very helpful and friendly.
We visited in July and there were only a few other people there! There is a small town near (around 3 miles) called Clonmacnoise which has shops, a cinema, pubs etc.
The campsite had all the usual facilities - laundry, TV room, kitchen area but the most useful was the campsite shop which not all places have. The other thing that made this site stand out was the shower/toilet facilities - they were free and you have your own key to access the block.

We enjoyed our stay with you so much that we stopped again with you on our way home. The site had all we could wish for and the free showers were a bonus,it was a very quite place to stay,and we are only sorry that you are retireing,and wish we had found you sooner. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to read a book or just chill out. It is most suitablefor older people who want to get away from noisy children and drinking parties.
