We went on a touring holiday around Ireland a few summers ago and Tree Grove at Kilkenny was the second place we camped.
The location was excellent, about a 20 minute walk into Kilkenny itself which is a medieval town. Kilkenny has a huge castle/manor house which is well worth a visit as is the numerous shops and pubs - you can't go to Kilkenny without a pint of the stuff!!
The campsite itself has everything you will need - a campers kitchen, free showers, laundry facilities. There is also an opportunity to hire bikes which is a great added extra.
Overall, this is a great campsite but you wouldn't want to stay more than a couple of nights before moving on.
