Ocean 11 Hotel

We have just returned from our family holiday in Barbados where we had the most fantastic time. What made our trip better was the hotel where we stayed, Ocean 11. While there the staff were so kind and treated us more like their extended family. They helped us arrange trips, advised us on which beaches were good and kept us up to date with the weather forcast. We have for many years stayed at the nearby Rainbow Reef Hotel which sadly is no longer there so we had to find somewhere else to stay in the quieter end of the Gap. We had visited Ocean 11 for food and drinks before so we knew what to expect. The rooms are very spacious and are of "an older Barbadian" style. The pool and bar are very good and there is always someone to talk to whether its another guest or the managment team. The food is excellent and a good lively bar with quiz and Karaoke nights. we have just had our 3rd stay in barbados,stayed at oceans 11,clean and spacious apartment,good food at oliver's bar really friendly,helpful bar staff(many are now friends i feel)we are two youthful 50 plus but were with 20 year old granddaughter and boyfriend good location for the young ones to go out 'til dawn but we couldn't hear the party end of the gap.i would go to oceans 11 on my own if need be as everyone was so friendly and the place feels so safe,yes there were drug dealers about the area but were polite on approaching us and took... more

I would like to Thank Ocean's 11 for a great stay and wonderful hospitality. Our accomodations, meals and leisure time were fabulous!..We thoroughly enjoyed Quiz night, Karaoke and just hanging around the pool. The staff was always accomodating and friendly. Had a great time at Ocean 11. Mark and Lorrainne and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. As we had booked late, we were given one of the larger apartments at a reasonable rate and were amazed at the amount of space we had. We could easily have spent most of our time within sight of our room, what with the bar and pool and good food. The rest of St Lawrence Gap is an easy walk away with some great restaurants and bars. We have just returned from Barbados & had a wonderful holiday staying at the Sea Breeze hotel..however, we were booked into Ocean 11 & as soon as I told the taxi driver where we were going, his response was 'are you sure?'. When we arrived, we went to the apartment & my wife cried..it was filthy!! We spent 3 hours cleaning & I immediately complained and was told the room had been missed by the cleaners. I've Just returned from 8 nights at Ocean 11 and can't recommend the place more highly! I'm a regular return visitor to Barbados and wish I had discovered this place sooner. Great location - (the quiet end of the gap - near enough to walk to restuarants/bars without the noise). The Pool and swim up bar are great and the bar staff and hotel owners make you totally relaxed. Food is also great and good value. Can't wait to go back!!

We have just returned from a week at Ocean 11. Even though the location is not ( but very close to) the beach, we found the rooms to be comfortable and the staff very accomodating. They have a nice pool with a swim-up bar, and during happy hour the place was a blast. Personally - I would stay there again. Good job Lee & Lorraine, and hopefully see you soon.
