Hotel Fuengirola Park

Hotel was very nice the area it is in is not so gd because theres a lot of building work going on and theres not much to do in the area ... the staff in the hotel were rude and very ignorant ... the meals were good lots to choose form however they were sometimes served cold ... there were cockroaches in the dining room and thats the truth !! most of the guests in the hotel were spanish i would say 70% of the guests were spanish this made it hard for us as the staff could not speak very good english ...oh yes i deffinetly noticed the smell of sewage it was terrible ... its also very hard to get a sun bed because ppl que up to get one and there arn't many available .... the rooms were very comfortable and the maids left clean towels every single day wthout fail they did a good job to be honest
the train station is rite by the hotel which i found extremely useful

JUST TO SAY WERE JUST BACK FROM A STAY AT THE HOTEL AND FOUND IT
VERY CLEAN AND STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE SERVICE WE
RECEIVED WE THOUGHT WAS GREAT. THE FOOD WAS NICE YOU ALWAYS
FOUND THERE WAS SOMETHING THERE YOU COULD EAT IF YOU DIDNT LIKE
MAIN COURSES AND THERE WAS ALWAYS CHIPS AND PASTA FOR ANYONE
WITH FUSSY KIDS. WHEN WE ARRIVED WE WERENT HAPPY WITH LOCATION
OF ROOM BUT IT WAS NO PROBLEM A CUP OF COFEE LATER AND WE WERE
SORTED CHEERS. WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN ANYWAY. THE LOCATION
OF THE HOTEL IS GREAT 90CENTS ON THE BUS AND YOUR RIGHT IN THE
TOWN CENTRE, OR GET THE WEE TRAIN RIGHT OUTSIDE HOTEL FOR4EUROS

The hotel is comfortable and vey clean however the food was not very good we were told that they would supply gluten free meals as my partner cannot eat anything containing wheat but they did not. The food was greasy and not always hot.The lifts frequently got stuck we got stuck in them twice. The entertainment was for the spanish people who we found to be very rude. This hotel definitley prefers spanish guets rather than english would definitley not stay at this hotel again.

Having stayed at above hotel in 2007and very pleased with it I went back this year and again I was very happy with it . Firstly location is excellent taxi rank, supermarket, train station all with in less than 5 minutes walk the one way and the other way the beach.I found the staff very friendly and the bedrooms cleaned towels changed daily and bedding changed every couple of days I can confirm this as on a couple of times I went back to my room as it was been done. I also was very happy with the food it cannot be to bad as the holiday reps eat there.

just got back from a 10 day stay at fuengirola park hotel. the location of the hotel is lovely and there is plenty to see and do, with a bus and train station near by and a taxi rank right outside the hotel. although we stayed halfboard we found the breakfasts were too early from 8.00-10.00 so we found a nice little cafe on the beach front called the wessex were breakfasts were extremely cheap and very nice. the beaches are only a 2 minute walk from the hotel and are kept nice and clean and seem never ending (not a bad thing though). although we don't recomend going on the peddle slide boats as they make you very sea sick (and my bf proved it by throwing up). there are plenty of bars and shops down nearly everyroad if you dont fancy a trip to the beach front. the hotels food in the evening was ok but could of been better although they did serve different food every night, it was all of the same nature. the pools and bars were lovely and open most of the time. the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and the bedding changed every couple of days. the walls were very thin and the old spanish people were quite rude. the only major bad point was that on our last day know one had told us we had to leave at 12.00 mid-day so we had some very rude phone calls and knockings on the door telling us to leave. in the end we were allowed to leave luggage in a locked room but still ended up waiting around for 6 hours before our taxi arrived to take us to the airport. although a lovely holiday and great destination, we would probably not stay at this hotel again.

Just got back ... would never go back to this hotel...Food was dreadful, wall's in room were that thin you could hear the people in the next room snoring, night time entertainment was for the Spanish and was to loud, the Spanish people and staff were very rude...not good for children as there was no entertainment for them...(or food they would eat)

Just arrived back..........and what a relief! Fuengirola is lovely but we would never use this hotel again. We had a twin bedded room - on arrival one bed had clean linen and the other had definately been slept in! We got both beds changed but found stains on the supposedly clean linen! The food was probably of good quality but was poorly prepared and presented, the soups obviously made from the previous evenings vegetables! They tried to cook in an English style but just did'nt know how to do it. The Spanish style food was OK if that is what you have been brought up on. I read on the reviews about the dreaded Spanish pensioners.................how right you all were. They were downright rude and soooo loud that mealtimes were a bit of a nightmare. I think someone must have complained because suddenly they arrived later than the other diners and whilst we ate you could have heard a pin drop (not literally) in the dining room - lovely! The evening entertainment is totally for them and they completely take over the small bar. The tour company did not mention to us that these people would be there for their free holiday from the Spanish government and I think they should have and I think they should try the food for a week and see if they like it.

just got back from there this morning so i thought id write a review
ok the good things about this hotel are the gardens around it, the bar staff and the parrot and flamingo dancing show.
the bad points are the food it was the same crap every night,the entertainment which was for the Spanish pensioners as the hotel is 80% full of them and the hotel rooms which for a party of three adults they provide a double bed and bunk beds suitable for under 12s.
do not book the excursions with the holiday rep they rip you off so much there is a place just on the beach where they sell it cheaper.
the beaches are clean and there are some free beaches where you don't have to buy loungers they are provided
all in all i would of liked more teenagers of my age group (18) but you cant get everything.i would come back to the resort but not that hotel

we went in a large group of 9 people all family 5 of which were chilren, we had a room mix up they wanted to put 3 young children in a room the other side of the hotel from there mother. we were told when we booked we would have 3 rooms next door to each other. we ended up with two rooms different ends of a corridor on the first floor and a third room on the 6th floor.we were promiced kid's club with different activies each day when we arrived this didn't exsist ans all that was there for the children were 2 swings and a slide. The staff were very rude and inco-operative. The spanish also staying in the hotel were rude and ignorant. when we went to the bar for the children to have some fun danceing all they played were spanish songs that the children couldnt understand, and when we requested english songs they only played half of the song. At dinner they didn't cater for children the children had to eat adults meals. i would not go there again and would not recommend the hotel to anyone. most things written in brochers are not true.

i thought the staff were rude, the spanish were ignorant and the child facilities didn't exsised all that were their for children was a swing and slide. i would not go their again and would not recommend the hotel to anyone.
