I have stayed in this hotel twice, once for a week in Nov 2008 and then for 2 weeks in Aug 2009! I found the hotel a great base for exploring with only a 15min walk to universal studios and 2min walk to International Drive with lots of restaurants and of course the... more

Despite all of the bad reviews I read before arriving I could not fault this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the free breakfast was a welcome start to the day and the beds were made up every day and fresh towels, soap and moisturising cream replaced. The park... more

A nice hotel conveniently situated for I Drive and Orlando attractions. Rooms nice and spacious and a lovely pool I couldnt get the children out of! The breakfast was lovely but you do have to get there early as it gets busy and when they run out, thats your lot! A tiny... more

Where do I start? This was our first holiday to America for myself, my husband and our 2 girls aged 10 & 14. We had a fantastic time, we did nearly all the parks Disney/Universal/Busch Gardens/Sea World. Bought our tickets in the UK and I think we probably did the right... more

This is by far the worst hotel we have stayed in on I-drive, rooms not cleaned properly, very dirty indeed. Small rooms but advertise good spacious rooms, lift dirty and smelly. Had to ask at reception for our beds to be changed three days after we arrived, as not been... more

The resort was awful; rooms smelt damp, lift not working, graffiti everywhere, even a swamp in the middle of the hotel near the pool. I would certainly not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy; we ended up in 3 different rooms before we were remotely happy. Breakfast was... more

The hotel has fair sized and very clean rooms. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We always got a lounger at the pool area, when required. There was a fridge and microwave in room. We were also supplied with plenty of toiletries and clean towels during our stay. ... more

Everything from the flight to the hotel was average and therefore a rating of 5 or 6 would be appropriate. The reason I rate the holiday as 8 is purely due to the price £2100 for flights, hotel, car hire (inc. taxes and full insurance) for 5 of us. The flight itself was... more

crappy rooms
This hotel dazzles you with a very nice lobby and nice looking pool, then sticks you in a really rundown room. I travel to Orlando a lot, and I think it was the worst room I've stayed in. The location is great; just East of International Drive, with easy access to Universal and Wet 'n Wild just up the street and plenty of restaurants & stores within walking distance. This place is strictly for the tourists, so the continental breakfast is crowded. But the crappy room overshadows everything else.
Disgusting rooms, dirty corridors, very rude staff, fowl smells
I should've realized upon walking into the hotel's lobby and getting a whiff of someone's long lost pet that I probably should have walked back out. The front desk staff appears to have been put on the job without training. The rooms have mildew covered wallpaper, more fowl smells, and 20+ year old air conditioning units that probably haven't cooled anything in 10 years. The pool had too many chemicals in it and gave my two children a rash. I brought these complaints to the attention of the GM who sits in an office right in the lobby,... more
In a pinch.
Stayed at this hotel for one night in March 2005 after failing to find a suitable hotel near the airport. The room was a decent size with a king bed but I have doubts that the sheets were clean. The room was on the top floor and I had a long search for a trolley to bring our luggage to the room. The car park was not well lit, the coke machine ate our coins and the ice machine broken. Didn't get a chance to check out the amenities in the rest of the hotel but it is definitely NOT the kind of hotel I would spend two weeks in. Having stayed in... more
Bluegreen vacation fairy stories
We were booked here by Bluegreen on a promotion by BassPro Outdoor World Shop. We were told we would be booked in to a Radisson or similar quality....the room was clean with a fridge and microwave but very small with no privacy curtains so you spent your time in the room with the curtains closed and the inadequate lighting on. No security that we could see. Front desk staff very nice.
Brilliant place to stay
My husband myself and my two children stayed at the comfort inn universal in september. The staff were great very helpful and friendly our room was good and the continental breakfast was a great start to our day. My children loved the pool,we did too as it was kept clean at all times. When we were there we met hurricane jean the staff were very calm and helpful as this was going on i felt very reassured about our safety. When it was over the staff could,nt do enough to make sure guest were ok. I would recommend the comfort inn to any one... more

The room was large as were the beds compimentry coffee etc fridge microwave! 24 hr coffee machine in the lobby! Simple breakfast but could have as much as u wanted Kids thought they were in heaven! Good sized bath with shower. air conditioning! Most of... more
Never again!
Go right now to Comfort Inn's website and look at the pictures they show you. They dont show the room picture and heres why. IT'S A DUMP! Let me start by telling anyone who is coming to Orlando with three nights booked through Bluegreen Vacations timeshare presentation from BassPro for $49, this is where you'll end up no matter what they say on the phone. The rooms were terrible with a musty smell and a toilet smel. TV was on its last legs. Beds were copmfy though. Carpet was worn down to the concrete. The breakfast was very limited two days... more
Worst Hotel
I suppose to spend three night at this hotel i end up spending one night. The room they gave us i saw dead ant on the floor that really irritate me, the parking lot was smelling too. I told my husband we have to get another hotel. My advise to people please don't book this Hotel. I've never see any hotel like this in my life.
terrible
we stayed at the comfort inn in september. what an experience. When we arrived we were shocked at how unhelpful the reception staff were, it had taken us 2 hours to get to the hotel from stanford airport as we were in traffic evacuating from the coast due to hurricane Frances, so as you can image we were quite worried about what was going to happen when the hurricane hit - the staff had a very laid back attitude and offered no informaiton. We got to the room which was very run down, Wallpaper falling from the wall, dust and the most awful... more
Awful - get out, stay out
This was the worst hotel room i've ever seen! At check-in, after a long flight, the receptionist assured us that she had given us one of the nicest rooms overlooking the pool with a small fridge (which is not standard). Great we thought, until we got to the room..... We opened the door to be greeted by the stench of must and urine - disgusting. Everything in the room was old, worn and filthy dirty and the small fridge was a joke. If that was óne of the nicest rooms', i'd hate to see a basic one! It was so bad that we checked-out ten... more
