We stayed at the Yosemite Lodge by the Falls. The location is central to many activities and although the room rates are high, it is well worth it. My suggestion is to ask for a renovated room on the second floor. I read several forums and I was concerned because the reviews were mixed. However, I asked for a renovated room and they honored my request. Our room had a direct view of the falls and the upstairs room enough to make it comfortable.
If you go, have a great time!
