Wot a dump just got back off a stag do put up with it because it was lads wk end but there's no way wud take my family infact I wudnt let my dog stop there.
So dirty and dated wants a good jet wash and updating.

well ive just come back from villa alba in portugal today and i can tell u these apartments are fantastic really big clean right close to the main strip and beach but very peacefull wasnt sure what to expect but was fabulous highly recommended the pool was cleaned every day... more

Booked this holiday last minute, one of the best apartments we have stayed at. Four of us (2 couples aged 50) stayed in a two bed apt with large lounge, seperate kitchen with full size cooker and washing machine, balcony was large and all overlook the pool and lovely... more

Suprised!!!

We were very suprised when we arrived here and was very pleased with the way the complex was layed out. Everything was as we wanted including a washing machine in the kitchen which was excellent as we have children. The pool was a little dirty but was cleaned regually. The snack bar was adequally priced and the staff were friendly. but please hire a safe and put all valuables away as my children had 10 euros stolen from their mickey mouse purses!!! Just returned from a week at the Vila Alba. A great place to use as a base to explore the wonders of 'The Strip' but far enough away so that the noise won't interrupt you if you are looking to get away from it all! The apartments are spacious, clean and well equipped. 5 people easily managed for the week - although fighting for the hot water became something of a ritual! The apartment blocks are all set in and around beautiful gardens and pool - all immaculate and well maintained. As for the resort, I didnt really know what to make of... more

We went to villa alba in June 05, when we arrived we weer not that impressed! we got a 2 bedroom apt and it was really big it even had a washing machine. Just down the road there is a range of shops and restraunts! Its a really quite place so if you want enternment you will have to walk a bit! Overall its very good!! more

We went to the Villa Alba at the start of june we had two tennage girls with and from the start they loved it water babys both,we moved into the spacious appartment with the great balcony and slipped right into holiday mode,its quiet at night yet close enough to the night life of the strip and the array of fine eating houses ,which did not burn to big of a hole in our pockets,the staff at the villa were great and would arrange outings etc fron reception,if you have small children this is the place to be,we felt safe and at ease for the whole... more

just got back from vila alba ,we found its unique location gives you a quiet nights sleep while at the same time being a short walk from the action of the "strip"all tours etc we booked through reception at a great rate,we are going back next year!!
Nice Place but Very Quiet

The apartment was spacious and very well fitted out (including washing machine). The pool area and gardens were beautiful. The drawbacks were that there were no activities organised for children, and the pool bar closed every evening at 7pm. My children are 11, 8 and 4 and they were a bit bored in the evenings. The Strip area is a bit tacky so it would have been nice to be able to return to the Vila Alba in the evenings for a pleasent drink. more

As it is our ruby wedding this year, I have booked several holidays during the last 12 months, with the BIG ONE being Mauritius in May this year, for 3 weeks. Spotted a last minute internet cheapy from First Choice and thought I would squeeze it in just before our holiday in Mauritius so we could get a "bit of a tan" prior to the BIG HOLIDAY! Just come back from Villa Alba apts in Albufeira. Had a great time. I had a 2 bed apt which was very spacious. I loved the fact that the kitchen was totally seperate from the living area. The staff were lovely, the pool great. Would recommend them for families or couples who didn't want noise at all hours of the night. The apartments were about 10 mins walk from the main strip where there were many good bars and restaurants. would definitely go back there again. more

We stayed at Vila Alba this year, and are going back again next Summer. Our ground floor Apartment was more like a Villa with a big back garden, just yards from the pool. The childrens club was excellent with both day and evening activities, people were lovely, gardens absolutely beautiful, all in all the best place for a young family to have fun and relax in beautiful surroundings. Great. more

Went to Portugal in September to stay in Clube Praia de Rocha in PDR, It was the pits, the complex is ALIVE!!! It stunk and was soo dirty. Complained and got moved to Montechoro, Albefuira, stayed at the Villa Alba....wow this place is paradise, it's like a villa not an apartment, with washing machine etc. the pool is fantastic...would highly recommend..the gardens arround the pool are gorgeous, palm trees etc, gardener there every day.. more

We've just returned from 4 days at Villa Alba (3 friends and one 10 year old son). We'd read mixed reviews on the place, but decided to chance it and are so glad we did. The staff couldnt be more helpful, calling us taxis, booking trips, and even printing off our boarding... more
