Overall, a lovely resort.
Easily the best swimming pool in the area, and certainly the best i've seen. The rooms are basic, but clean and fresh. The breakfasts are good, with a variety of continental cuisine teamed with some more alternative foods. There is a pool-side Tiki bar, which serves up the most delicious Strawberry Daquaries I have tasted, (apparently the Rum Runners are pretty good too!). They also serve many lunchtime (or anytime!) snacks and meals. The Keys are certainly one of my favourite places and Banana Bay is definately the place to stay.
A picturesque setting for a wonderful holiday, truely a beautiful place you won't want to leave.

During our stay at the Banana Bay Resort Hotel we regularly enjoyed chatting with the friendly staff who would recommend things and places to visit.
If we weren’t out exploring then you would find us lazing around in the sun on the well presented sun decks.
As a budding photographer there were stunning views and scenery around to local area. I never stopped snapping!

Have been to the Keys a number of times, including Hurricane Wilma! and always really enjoyed the friendly relaxed atmosphere at Banana Bay. The beautiful gardens, and the helpful staff who always have time to make you feel welcome. We recently celebrated our twenty fifth wedding anniversary there, and had a totally enjoyable time watching the sun go down, relaxing by the lovely pool and visiting places recommended to us by the staff. The rooms are clean and functional, and we had the added benefit off our room having a beautiful view of the little maria, were we would return after a day out to feed the ducks. The hotel is also well situated in the middle keys to make visiting various places, such as seven mile bridge very easy. Cant wait to return this year. Chris and Tina Groom.
