Stayed here 14th to 28th August 2010. I would definitely recommend. When we last visited florida we had a villa and felt very isolated. We had a 3 bedroom apartment and some nights after a hard day at the theme parks we just came back and played in the pool and chatted to the other residents. There is a pizza hut take away which is handy, also there is a small convenience shop but it is very expensive. About 1/2 mile away there is a huge Walmart for all your shopping. There is also a pub on site that sells good but basic meals like sausage and mash, fish and chips, guinness stew and burgers. For my birthday and our wedding anniversary we had a cab to Downtown disney which was $15 each way to give you an idea of distance. The reception staff were very helpful. The rooms was spacious and furniture and decor were of a good standard. If i ever return to Florida i would stay here again.

Well what can i say apart from what a place,we stayed there august 2009 there was 18 of us in the party altogether so we had 3 two bed apartments and a 1 three bed apartment, i stayed in the 2 bed apart with my hubby and 2 children aged 8 and 5 it really is a lovely place the master bedroom which is huge had a walk in shower which could hold 4 if you wanted and a large juccuzi which could hold 2 with out being squashed.the kitchen was to die for it had a hob/oven dishwasher and an american fridge freezer with ice maker a coffee maker so really is home from home,a washing machine and dryer was in a cupboard which was very useful, the second bedroom had 2 single beds the master had a queen which is bigger than a king size not only did the master room have its own shower toliet and 2 sinks and juccuzi there was another bathroom with bath with shower (over bath) toliet and sink so really useful. large televisions in every room so no fighting over what we wanted to watch, although it wasnt a holiday to sit and watch tv it was still nice to have them there.the swimming pool was great for kids it wasnt to deep and was about the same depth though out,the pirates ship was fantasic not only is it great fun for the kids us adults had a laugh as well on it as there is a flume in it and when you 1st ride in it you really do not expect it to last so long it is great fun as you cant see anything in front of you a must when you go.there is a pizza hut on site and i really must say they where lovely better than here dont know why they just are.five minute drive away is a huge walmarts (which own asda) and it is a great supermaket sells everything and at great prices, there is also a nail place within the supermarket so if you have time have a french pedicure as i would so recommed it it was 27 dollars but it was worth every penny i had so many comments on it when i came home as my toes looked fantasic.the location is next to none as its 10 mins drive away from most of the parks the only down side is that the cost to park your car is steep at 12 dollars a day and then to pay on top of that to get in the park can work out dear but thats a small price to pay when your having fun.we will go back and stay at lake buena vista as i cannot prise it enough 10 out of 10.

My husband, 2 kids (7 and 13)and I have just returned from staying at the LBV suites and spa and what a wonderful holiday we had. We booked our holiday through Virgin Holidays and it was great from beginning to end. We were ideally located just 5 minutes from Downtown Disney and 10 Minutes from the parks. There was also a shopping outlet next door and in there was a couple of disney shops selling merchandise at a third of the price of the parks. We did our first shop at the supermarket on site but it was very very expensive but there is a wallmart a couple of minutes away.
We had a 2 bedroomed suite and it was huge. Everything you could possibly need was at hand. The kitchen was very well equipped but did not have a kettle so we used to boil our water for a cuppa in the microwave. It also did not have any wine glasses but that did not stop us having a nightcap - in a little glass - to round off a fantastic day. A wide screen tv in each room helped solve any arguements at the end of a tiring day - we had a tv each. The beds were also huge and the kids got a double each. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Everyone loved the jacuzi in the master bedroom and it was used daily. There was a shuttle bus to the parks each day but we always drove ourselves. We had dinner in Frankie Farrells regularly and the staff there, especially Danny and Gabriella, were fantastic. The couldn't do enough for you. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and will return there again myself in a couple of years.

We stayed at this hotel Oct 2008. We were a family of 8. 4 adults in one room and 2 adults and 2 children, aged 4 and 10 in the other. The first impression is that it is a high rise block. However that is just not the case. The hotel is in such popular demand they have extended it nearly every year since it opened. The are two pools one quite small more suited to people who don't have kids. The other with the pirate ship and slide quite big and ideal for family. Both adults and children should have a go of the slide. There is a bar and pool side snack bar with hammocks next to the pool. This was great for the kids when you need a rest from the parks. There are even electrical socks by the pool to plug your radio into. The location is a few minutes drive from Disney gates, the I4, International Drive and a 24 hour Wall Mart. The rooms are very large with everything you need. The en suite to the master bedroom is massive and the Jacuzzi is great. TV, radio and phones in the lounge and each bedroom. There is a washer, dryer, fridge freezer, ice maker, cooker and microwave.
Lake Buena Vista Shopping Mall next door and Premium Outlet only 5 minutes drive. A gym, small supermarket and pizza place is located in one of the blocks.
The only criticism is that our two children ended up with blister after playing in the pool all day. We had to hire a stroller the following day in the parks. We did complain to the hotel. They assured us that we were the only people to complain and maybe it was because we were European and not use to the American water and rough surface of the new pool. They gave us plasters and said they would look into it. We bought pool type shoes for the kids for $2 from Wall Mart and that solved the problem. Having said that I cannot fault the place. Very clean, staff very friendly. ideal location.

Stayed at this aparthotel in August and it was brilliant. At first sight it looked like a load of high rise flats but inside was a different story. The accomodation was really good and I would recommend it. We stayed in a 3 bed/2bathroom apartment and it was massive with Tommy Bahama fittings complete with an excellent kitchen with granite surfaces and large washer/dryer. We went with our kids both in their twenties and their partners and we all had plenty of privacy due to the size of the apartment. Every room had a large flat screen tv so no arguments about what to watch. First Choice plane was very good with plenty of leg room. I've stayed at Walt Disney Hotel and also International Drive but will definately go back to these apartments.

This resort was still under...

This resort was still under construction when we stayed there, it was allocated by our tour operator. I'd check what has been completed before booking to stay here as not all the facilities were operational when we were there. The Irish bar opened late June 07 but the main pool was still a hole in the ground. Extensive building work was ongoing.
It will be superb when completed, the plans look very impressive and the existing accommodation is very well equipped. We had a 3 bedroom unit which had everything you could possibly want for a family holiday, a king bed in the master suite and second bedroom and a twin room as well as a sleeper sofa in the lounge. The master suite has an ensuite with jacuzzi tub and shower and there's a second full bathroom. The living and dining areas and kitchen are open plan and there is a good sized balcony or terrace to sit out. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a washer and dryer. We found everything spotlessly clean, well, it was new!
Maid service is available to order at extra cost and there is a small convenience store onsite. Plenty of takeaway places deliver. Internet access is free and was easy to set up. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. We did find a bit of a problem with parking, especially at weekends, when all the units are full there is not nearly enough space.
The location is superb being just minutes from the Disney parks and an easy drive to Universal, Seaworld and all the other Orlando area attractions. I4 is just a minute or two away for travelling further afield. Shops and restaurants are within easy reach with the LBV Factory Stores Mall adjacent. There are shuttle buses to the main theme parks bookable with reception.
We found the resort ideal for a family who need more space and home comforts than just a hotel room but don't want to stay as far from the attractions as some villas are. I would recommend the resort and consider staying there again when it's finished.
