Sea View Holiday Village
Set among flowering shrubs and palm trees within walking distance of Talland Bay and its secluded beach, Seaview Holiday Village is the ideal retreat for your carefree family holiday. As the name implies, many of the holiday-homes give you views of the sea, and of the surrounding countryside.

Already put in a piece complaining about the slack treatment dished out to ourselves by the useless staff at seaview. Just thought that I.d add that right from April of this year dispite many complaints letters to both the site and complaints bodies we have still not had any response let alont apologies for the terrible holiday spent at this incompetent site. So just thought I would warn others contemplating spending precious money for a much deserved holiday next year. IF YOU WOULD LIKE A RELAXING CLEAN HOLIDAY WITH PEOPLE THAT GENUINELY WANT YOU TO ENJOY YOURSEVES. DO NOT GO TO SEAVIEW HOLIDAY PARK POLPERRO CORNWALL. They couldn.t give a toss.

This was our third visit to seaview and once again a very enjoyable holiday. Dill the entertainment manager was brilliant as always. Caravan was cleaned and tidy although it was a basic one. The food is very good and very reasonably priced. A nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Although the rather snooty miss receptionist needs to change her attitude and improve her manners.

we paid for the top of the range caravan the Jubilee model. We waited for the cleaners to bring back the key at 40clock. When we entered the caravan was covered in hundreds of dead meatflys. I went to reception to complain, I said that the caravan could not possibly have been cleaned today and I was told very bluntly that it most certainly had. by a very rude receptionist. A cleaner was sent down to vacuum up the flies, which were in all of the bedding behind the furniture all over the cooker down the toilet everywhere..... Then one of the toilets was leaking making the carpet smelly and wet so we had to get a repair man as the cleaner was vacuuming. Then we noticed that we hadn,t got a dvd player which was in the brochure therefore our son couldn,t play his new dvds (this was supposed to be his birthday break complete with all the comforts of home). We went to reception to complain OH WE.LL BRING ONE DOWN...... this was all on the first day second day came still no dvd player, Then the second toilet started to leak spilling water into the hallway and into the bedroom, Then in the middle of the night we ran out of gas so NO HOT WATER OR CENTRAL HEATING WE WERE FREEZING We went to reception again the next morning to complain WE,LL BRING ONE DOWN STILL NO DVD PLAYER, some hours later we had gas again.... as we.ll as two wet bathroom floors and the remnants of the flie.s that the cleaner had missed. On the way out I went to reception to hand in the key and put in a formal complaint. Not a word of sympathy or remorse that our break had been ruined. On getting home I wrote a snotty letter putting into words my feelings of our disastorous weekend, I received not a word back so I.ve emailed 3 times so far threatening to report the camp if I did not receive so compensation or at least an apology I was told that they were investigating that was in April STILL NO APOLOGY I have never met such insolence and utter stubornness for an industry that depends on customer service they have no idea....

Seaview Holiday Village is a excellent location for those who want a semi quiet and peacful holiday.
Dill was incredible with the kids, i have seen many entertainers and kids lose interest, Dill kept the interest of the kids throughout, amazing man who i have alot of respect for.
The Seaview Staff were all so friendly we were made welcome no matter what we did, even our springer spaniel was made feel welcome and was allowed in the entertainment hall.
The accommodation was a lovely spacious 2 bedroom bungalow that sat facing the most amazing, beautiful views of the countryside and Over Talland Bay, it was a little chilly in during the night but the kind lady offered us a heater which done the trick. Everything was electric which was run on a £1.00 meter, this was very well priced.
The swimming pool was very clean and regular checks on a daily basis was made on chemical levels, next to the pool was a jacuzzi which was delightful.
Our Children love looking around when we go away and i always feel anxious about them going alone, Seaview is the only Holiday Village i have been too that i have felt my children were safe.
All in all we all enjoyed our 2 week holiday at Seaview Holiday Village and are looking forward to returning there shortly.

My wife and I upon arrival found a few things wrong with the accomodation, this was soon corrected by a very concerned and courteous staff.
The evening entertainment was very good(no club passes needed), meals were served in the entertainment lounge, the site had a very limited shop.
Looe and Palperro were very easy to get to as a bus service passed right passed the main enterance to the site, or is just a short drive down the road.
This is a quite and leisurely site, not everyones cup of tea, but is a relaxing holiday that we enjoyed.

We booked a "luxury" cottage with sea views at Sea View Holiday Village Polpero, Cornwall.
The accommodation was damp, musty, dirty, we couldn't unpack as all cupboards and draws smelt, there was nearly two inches of dust on the light bulbs that we had.. I went twice to reception to obtain enough linen, and a light bulb.
The toilet seat broke and there was mould behind the sink in the bathroom at the base. The shower was a plastic head that attached to the baths taps, that kept flying off. The beds were damp also.
We had to stay out all day to escape!
After complaining to the manager he offered air fresheners and a de-humidifier.
I would not recommend this resort to anyone... please don't go.

The caravan and chalet park is in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Close to Looe and in walking distance to Polperro. The site is very, very dog friendly, its the only place I have ever been where they let you take your dogs (and encourage it) into the bar area. Very friendly staff, the only little niggle was the chalet could have been cleaned a little better.
We were in the higher priced chalets, which had patio furniture, the cheaper accommodation was not the best I have ever seen, but I suppose you get what you pay for. I would recommend the dearer chalets and caravans, but steer clear of the cheaper ones. We had a great holiday here two years running.
