Don`t go for all inclusive

Hi, we`ve just came back from Luna. Don`t go for the all inclusive option. They serve alcohol only from 6-8.30 pm,there excuse was that it`s winter, normally should be served from 11- 23pm. Only one bar and we had to wait for half an hour to get drinks, horrible, drinks... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here in Sep 2010 and we could not believe the size of the room when we walked in!! The breakfast was varied and lovely to wake up to. Everywhere was clean and the staff were polite and helpful. Would definitely go again. Fond memories made here.

booked the alpinus. was impressed with the accomodation, however we had a break in the apartment the day before we left and reckon it was an inside job.
don't leave any valuables lying around. i had a pair of ghd straighteners worth over £100 and they were pinched.

We stayed at the end of Sept 2006 and had temperatures in the upper 20 degree C most days. It was our first trip aboard with a young baby and worked well. The Concordia taxi service had child seats in the mini buses and the hotel staff had a room cleaned for us on arrival, even though this was several hours before check in time. The cleaning was without fault. At this time of year there was no problem with noise, but if this would worry you the upper floors were quieter, as were the ones at the ends of the corridors. We have just come back from the Algarve, we stayed in the Hotel Apartmento Alpinus, which we booked three weeks in advance on line with "Somewhere2Stay" . We had a really lovely holiday. We had a third floor one bedroom apartment overlooking the golf course. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and air conditioned. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the beach but a bus runs almost every hour throughout the day from the hotel lobby. Just back from a weeks stay at the Alpinus with my husband & 2 young children and we all had a wonderful time. The apartment was spacious and beautifully decorated, it was spotlessly clean and there was a daily maid service. Seven members of my family stayed here June 23 2006. All I can say is the staff super, accommodation brilliant, enjoyed that much I stayed for extra 2 nights to watch England v Portugal although we lost it was a good atmosphere especially when you are getting free drinks off the staff. Highly recommended but a car is needed due to location this is not a problem as there is public transport nearby or a mini bus ride to albuferia or villa moura for four people 5 euros each return book able through hotel. This Summer I went to Portugal.. To the Alpinus Hotel. I had a wonderful time there. I really liked the personal. They were very friendly and the made you laugh. I definately wanna go back to that Hotel.. It was clean and comfortable.

Apartment was very nice, pity you could not move it elsewhere. We were on the first floor facing the main beach road. The road was very noisey day and evening. At night the music / entertainment from two pubs 100yds away went on until 2 am every day except Saturday! The rooms were "cleaned" every day but after the floors were cleaned I wiped them with floor wipes and they went brown each time. WOW! What can i say! This hotel was amazing! The best i've ever stayed in. It was extremly clean and well looked after, very modern and tasteful! The staff were all extremly friendly and helpful and facilties brilliant! Going back again in 6 weeks (Sept 2005) and am counting the hours till i go!

Just returned from an 11 night stay at this hotel. Accommodation was excellent, had a 2 bedroom apartment which had 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 balconies, satelite TV, etc.. The rooms were cleaned daily and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Good pool, bar, nightly entertainment, kids club, free bus to the beach - which was within walking distace. We stayed at the Alpinus apartments in October for 10 days through Seasons Holidays and found it clean, well maintained with superb helpful staff and worthy of its 4 star rating. The restaurant, bar and pool were all smart and child friendly. Our 2 bed sleep 6 was extremely spacious with everything you could ask for including the daily maid service. We would certainly stay again and would recommend it to anyone.

Have spent 2 lovely holidays at Alpinus, last year and this, through Seasons timeshare company. Cannot fault the place at all. Wonderful apartments, with great views. Not far to the beach and there is a courtesy bus which runs you there and back if you want it. Entertainment most nights, with good acts. Excellent cafe and restaurant. Just a few minutes away from other restaurants and cafes. The staff are extremely helpful, both the Portuguese and the English.
