Before we left for holiday i read bad reviews of the hotel and was even thinking of changing hotels but was pleasenty suprised when we arrived. The Hotel was very clean and staff were always polite & busy working they seemed to like their jobs, restaurant staff were especially excellent. Choice of food excellent, only downside was because it was buffett, food was not very hot. Excellent location, loads of restaurants and bars. For For the first night we had a room facing the strip and it is very Very noisy, we paid £45 euros to upgrade the pool side which was fine. I have rated it a 9 beacuse of the noise but the hotel cant really help this.

The hotel Aldeia is in a prime location, it can get abit noisy if you stay in room with street view as the hotel is on the strip.
But I would stay in this hotel again, the grounds are nice and the rooms are ok too.

We were booked into this hotel as a last minute deal and arranged to stay for just 5 nights.
On arrival our hearts sunk, there was considerable building works taking place on the exterior of the hotel and on entering the lobby which was dark and un- welcoming were greeted by a lone receptionist .we were allocated our room and instructed how to get to it yet offered no assistance with luggage etc.
The corridors had several electric fittings missing and were also dark and dank! We entered our room to be greeted by two beds that were no more than 12 inches of off the floor, dirty curtains and wiring to the room TV that looked unsafe to touch. I opened the curtains that were also dirty to see our view and was greeted by missing wooden slats from the shutters and a dirty balcony. The view was so disappointing that it was almost funny!
There were about 10 sun loungers that must have been left out all winter as the were faded and dirty and these were sitting on a pool patio area that had grass growing through the tiles and several uneven surfaces.

Don't let the bad reviews put you of this was nice little hotel staff friendly rooms were cleaned daily. stayed there for a week in march. food was nice but very basic. would recommend a room facing the pool not facing the strip as you can get the noise from the bars and restaurant which stay open vey late so remember your ear plugs. you'll see a blue and yellow train passing down the strip every 20 minutes this is a good way of getting from new town to old town only makes three stop so its dead easy to find your way round. In the old town there a fantastic restaurant called don Carlos this was the nicest food i'd ever tasted you pay a bit more than some of the restaurant well worth the extra money famous for sir cliff Richards eating there. Ell Rancho steak house was another nice restaurant turn right out of the hotel walked down the strip to you come to it.
