What a fantastic place Club Sun City is. Myself, my husband and our 13year old and ten year old children have just spent a week there. The hotel is beautiful, the staff can't do enough for you and are always smiling and friendly and ready to play jokes with the kids. The food is really nice and the entertainment is perfect. The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard every day and I never saw any mess around the hotel as the staff are very vigilent at cleaning. It was a lovely relaxing week, very family orienated. I recomend you visit this hotel for a chilled out, happy holiday. We were all sad to leave.

We could not fault this hotel. It was our first experience of an all inclusive and Turey but we were not disappointed.
Myself and my husband stayed here for eleven days in June with our children aged 5 and 2. Having two very energetic children it is hard sometimes to have as perfect a holiday but this was it!
The hotel was lovely, we had a lovely family room, the staff were very attentive and keen to make anything right as quick as they could, the waiters were highly enthusiastic and made meal times very nice, the food was totally amazing and I will miss living like that ( I am a vegetarian and my kids and husband are mostly but eat fish - but there was the most amazing salad bar the length of the dining area), the drink was great with fantastic red wine and not at all watered down as suggested on many reports of other hotels. The swimming pools were fantastic and the beach and blue lagoon were great for days out.
We will most definitely be going back.
The first choice rep was the only not so good part of our holiday and was next to useless and unhelpful but that has been our frequent experience of reps and we only travelled with them for security with children.

We are a young open minded middle aged couple we have been to Olu Deniz in the past It was the first time we have tried an all inclusive deal. We stayed here in September 2009 We really enjoyed our all inclusive holiday here. Very good value for money, pleasant large room & surroundings beautiful I thought the on site beautician & hairdressers were fantastic. Do you like the idea of a Good old Butlins Style Holiday camp, in Turkey for your holiday well you'll love Sun City!!!! Got sick of the same repetative cheesy musak round the pool -same day in day out - Take a ipod or MP3 player or just ear plugs! you'll go insane otherwise! Hey aren't the sun beds closer together this year??? I mean right next to you! not even a table inbetween very cosey! You have to laugh though> BUT the thing that really prevented me from enjoying my break im afraid - the people who were staying there. I have to say I felt so very ashamed of my fellow british holiday makers.Loud mouthed rough totally ignored their children leaving them to run round or later on left them in buggies pushed against the wall while the parents got drunk on the All inclusive booze till 2am. The staff try so hard.
The local food options on the enourmous buffet were great- lots of salads the occasional weird ones - cold frankfurter sausages not eaten the evening before cut up & stuck in a mayo dressing YUK! but I wish they wouldn't bother trying to cater for people who just want chips & burgers on holiday so much . The range of all inclusive drinks was slightly limited but that is to be expected Very dissappointed with the wine I am a wine drinker & sorry but the wine was 'slash' as they say in Liverpool! I am not a snob & I know this review probably sounds like I am ,but perhaps I need to bear in mind who bargain all inclusive holidays seem to attract. If you can ignore it all well & good & perhaps go sit around the pool at their sister hotel Olu Deniz resort. Anyway its so reasonably priced we could still afford to eat out which we did to escape the bedlam

We have just returned from two weeks at the 'sun city' and we have had a excellent time, the hotel is well kept, clean and standards are high in the restaurants; granted the meals are simple but fine and excellent value for what we paid for the holiday; the staff are very obliging and you can tell that it is a relaxed atmosphere for them as well as guests.
Being close to the sea and having it's own beach at the 'Blue Lagoon' this is the secont time in five years that we have stayed at hotel; and will not be the last, families and likes us the 'older end' are well catered for.
Pity, I was hoping an ash cloud would trap us there for another couple of weeks

I have just returned from Sun City - went with a large group of friends for two weeks.
The hotel is in a beautiful setting, you can sit at the pool or in the eating/bar areas and watch the paragliders coming off the mountain.
I cannot fault the hotel or the staff. The room was clean and the maids left flowers on the beds on several occasions. The gardens are lovely, the pool areas clean and well looked after.
The reception staff were really helpful. The bar staff, waiting staff and 'Pancake Lady' were exceptional, really friendly, couldnt do enough to help.
The food was plentiful and of an excellent quality. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel - the first time I have gone on an all inclusive holiday and I was not disappointed.

Just returned from a week at Sun City , Olu Deniz. We booked with A1 Travel, lot cheaper than normal high street operators, ok you go with Onur Air, still the same plane, leg room etc, but take your own drinks and food as they are very expensive on-board, good job i took time to read other travellers notes before i went. best thing is when you land, no waiting for other passengers to get on the bus and take hours to reach your hotel, A1 have a taxis transfer service wich is great, as you are halfway there before the others get going, bit of a hairy ride at 2am in the morning, but good fun.
The Hotel was kept very clean ,tidy, nice gardens, big pool, and the food was suprisingly exceptional, plenty of it.The bar staff, of Patrik and Ikler, really made the holliday, together with all the waiters, they cant do enough for you.
The only down side was that the room blocks are a bit close together, from the other ones, but dont be put off from any bad reports, give it a try

Just returned from a two week holiday at Sun City. I am a single parent (widowed) and took my two teenagers (16 & 17 years) together with their two friends. Everyone had a great time. Rooms are not luxurious but adequate. Take, or buy, insect repellant and spray both the room and yourself before going to dinner. We all did this and didn't have any problem with the mozzies. The location is fabulous - very near beach and resort centre. Staff are friendly and service is good. Food was excellent - plenty of choice and of a high standard. Entertainment is average - plenty to join in with eg. water polo, table tennis etc. Evening entertainment could be better - tends to be hotel entetainment team ( 4 of them ) rather than proper shows. Get up at 6.30 to 7am to get sunbeds and parasols - I know there are signs saying don't reserve sunbeds - but everyone does (if you can't beat 'em - join 'em!) Would go again - ticks most of the boxes for a great sun holiday

I have just returned from 2 weeks at the Sun City Resort Hotel which was booked through Thomas Cook in January of 2009. We booked two double rooms. When we arrived the there was a great deal of discussion taking place and the reception manager couldn't wait to book in my mother and son and take them off to their room despite me constantly telling them to wait until my husband and i were ready. The staff completely ignored this and almost dragged them off to their room. The then told us that "for tonight you stay here in the reception building with us" as if it was some kind of special reward. When we asked why they came up with all sorts of excuses which eventually turned out to be over booking. The Thomas Cook rep was stood in reception watching all this unfold and at this point said nothing. They took us upstairs to our room. I spent all of 1 second in there and returned saying not a chance. It was no bigger than Harry Potters room under the stairs at the Dursleys!!!! To which the rep then joined in and said "oh i didn;t real;ise they were putting you up there". Complete lie as whn you go up those stairs there is no where else to go. Seeing my annoyance she then decided to find out what the problem was and eventually agreed they were over booked!.and told us we had no choice for one night as they were full.
The next morning there was a different man on reception who knew nothing about us moving that morning and it descended into a complete farce. A stand in rep was there for that day and eventually got us moved to block 13 along with my mother and son. As it turned out these are newly refurbished rooms and are very nice overlooking the pool.
Once we managed to start the holiday it did get much better. Food is good, staff are very friendly, except the reception. The entertainment team work very hard. Sadly they aslo have to provide the evening entertainment as except for sundays when it's their day off all the evening entertainment wa supplied by these guys and girls. Unfortunately their comedy show runs a bit thin after two weeks.
The pool area is great and you do have to get up early to get a sun bed, but then that's the same in most places.
I would like to return but the obvious over booking and complete disregard for it being a problem either by the hotel staff or Thomas Cook ould make it a no no.

Just arrived back from 2 weeks at the Sun City Hotel, Excellant Hotel, brilliant staff, the food & drink was really good. 22 of us went to attend our son,s wedding on the Blue Lagoon & not one of us were disappointed with any aspect of the hotel or Olu Deniz itself. The staff work really hard & nothing is too much trouble for them, well done. One unfair thing, there are tip boxes around the hotel bars & restuarants which you would assume be shared out to the hardworking staff, the tips are actually kept by the management, so best to give tips directly to the staff if you appreciate their work. Flight home was delayed for 4 hours, so stuck at Dalaman airport for a time, be warned, this airport is very expensive,so make sure you are fed & watered before getting there to journey home. Also, " Tweety " the hotels photographer is very expensive & gets in the way of your cameras a fair bit, though you dont have to buy from him. In all, an excellant hotel & will try to get back to Sun City again sometime.
