Howard Johnson Enchanted Resort Hotel

We booked our hotel at Last Minute Travel for the rate of $250.88 including tax for 8 nights. There were three adults in our party. We didn't know the hotel we were getting until after booking. We arrived at the Howard Johnson Enchanted Land at midnight on 7/12 and stayed for 8 nights. We couldn't have been more pleased with the location. We stood for easter vacation in april of 2004. we loved it. The tree house room was cool and the kids went wild. they served ice cream for the children at 7pm and showed a movie everyday. The pool was always clean and warm and the bar well the bar was a nice addition when you just wanted to chill at the hotel. We also bbq'ed every other night. and there was plenty of parking. we are going back for x-mas.

I just wanted to share what a nice stay we had at the HoJo EnchantedLand in Kissimmee on April 11,2005. We had one of the treetop bed rooms which my three year old daughter loved. They had a little ice cream party for the kids and a playroom with toys and movies. The pool was warm and the staff was very helpful and accomodating in every way. We booked directly at Enchanted Resort website. 30.00 per night if you stay 7 ngts.Our room was clean,staff was friendly,clean pool,very close to Disney..what a deal. If you are expecting something fancy, then this is not for you.Great place for the family that would rather spend their money on the fun stuff. Stayed at Enchantedland June 2002. Basically a place to sleep - hotel has no real facilities that you could enjoy. The area is ok but nothing of any interest close by. We used the hotel as a base, you need to drive to have some fun, enjoy nice restaurants etc. Room did not get much light, air conditioning was loud.

We decided to go to this hotel as it offered the cheapest rate for our disneyworld vacation. Big mistake! The beds were uncomfortable, we woke up with small red bugbites, there was no hot water throughout our stay. We told the staff there was no hot water and it was not fixed in the 4 days we stayed there. Next time we are DEFINATELY going someplace nicer because you truly get what you pay for.

We stayed for two nights and the kids' area in one big room is something I would love to see more hotels think of doing. My kids thought their little portion of the room was the greatest and while, yes, it is just a no frills place, we found everything to be very clean and loved having a small fridge and microwave in the room. The kids enjoyed free ice cream with sundae toppings every night and the pool was nice and warm with a strong chlorine smell. It was very reasonable and we certainly felt like we got our money's worth!

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in Feb/05, and it wasn't as bad as some have made it out to be on this site. It is just your average hotel/motel. Nothing fancy, but you aren't paying a lot either. We paid only $49.00 a night, so we didn't expect the Ritz Carleton! It was clean, and the kids enjoyed having their own t.v. From their website you would think this is a true "resort"... However, it is really a glorified motel. The staff is excellent, but the rooms... well, what can you expect for these prices. If you're going to Disney, spend the extra few dollars and stay on property, the shuttle only runs once a day to the park, so if you miss it plan on spending $8 parking at Disney.

If you can afford to stay somewhere else you should, but for those who think a disney vacation is unaffordable, this deal is for you. You get 3 days of Disney parks for 2 adults, 4 nights at the Howard Johnson Enchantedland, 4 hot and very complete breakfast buffets all for $160. Of course you do have to spend a couple of hours hearing an annoying timeshare presentation . But it is saves you about $300. So if you and your spouse make less than $75 an hour.
