This accomodation was pretty faultless, i stayed here with a friend we are both quite young (both 22 at the time) but not really into the mad partying every night that goes on in Las Americas. we came here on her parents timeshare rather than booking a package and it was lovely. Our room wasnt quite ready on or arrival but we were given a free jug of sangria and shown to the bar area until our room was available. Staff were always lovely to us even though we were probably the youngest people there and i know sometimes young people in a family orientated unit sometimes tend to get a bad attitude from staff. The pool area was great, and there apartment was cleaned pretty much everyday, beds got changed twice in a week, and the kitchen was well equipped, you even get a welcome pack with bread, orange juice and eggs etc and tea/coffee.bed was HUGE me and my friend shared a double bed but you wouldnt have known it she was about a metre away from me!bathrooms quite lare and no maintenance issues at all!its a great location to explore the rest of the island, los christianos and las americas are just 10 mins or so in a taxi or you can get a shuttle bus from outside the apartments for about 3 euros in the day.the nightlife in those resorts is good if thats what youre into, and they were also great for shopping too. golf de sur is pretty quiet, there are a few restaurants and there is the san blas shopping centre about 20 mins walk away too.the only downside was that it was on the flight path but you get used to it and theres no planes at stupid hours so you cant get to sleep they are all in the daytime and dont bother you at all.also the air conditioning was not good, had to open bedroom windows and the patio doors alot to cool the room down.fantastic and would definately recommend this to families and couples.

Sunningdale Village is a fantastic resort. The staff are always very friendly and cannot seem to do enough for you. The pool is fantastic, and there is a lifeguard that watches the children in the pool upto around 6pm. There is a small park for the kids to play in while you sit and have your dinner. From the restaurant and bar you can watch the kids at all times. We holiday there every year, as we feel that it is a very safe environment for the children. The food is good and is not over priced. The kids meals are good value for money. They even do a take out menu. San Blas is only about a 15 minute walk away, with a small collection of shops restautrants and bars. A very relaxing holiday, and not at all busy with lager louts!! It is a very quiet resort, but the busier resorts like Los Christianos and Las Americas, are short taxi journey away. This resort supplies the towels for the use around the pools, to ensure that no outsiders can use the facilities. Again, this makes me feel a bit safer. On the whole, the majority of people who use this resort are Club La Costa owners, and everyone here is friendly.

Our first impressions of the resort were quite good having stayed at another CLC in Spain. However, having got to our appartment we did the usual - checking each of the rooms out, only to discover that the ensuite bathroom had mould on the ceiling.
We were moved apartments once we called reception, but it was a little off putting to know that they only called maintenance to paint over the mould - especially as they had only been renovated 3 months earlier according to the manager. That being said the apartment we were moved to was in pristine condition and we were given a free meal and drinks at the restaurant to compensate for the inconvenience of having to move.
The resort itself was pleasant enough, although a little isolated, it has a small shop to buy your essentials (bread, milk, etc.) and 1 restaurant/bar. There is a decent sized pool and a small baby pool. If your willing to walk there are several restaurants down near the marina (10-15 min walk), otherwise you'll need a hire car to get about the island.
The main drawback of the resort would have to be the location, as it is on a flight path. Whilst this amused my 1 yr old immensely, it can get noisy (by the pool), although the flights do lessen in frequency as the week goes on and it didnt result in any sleepless nights.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and bent over backwards to help, even the bar and waiting staff took great pleasure in entertaining my wee boy, which was great.
Location wise Sunningdale is a great base from which to explore the island; from the world windsurfing/kitesurfing championship beaches at El Medano to the lost village of Masca high up in the hills of the north.
I would definitely visit again.

Just returned from an excellent week in the Sunningdale village in Golf Del Sur.
The complex has an excellent pool area, they supply the pool towels to identify residents and keep outsiders away. There is a playground for the kids, a kids club, not that there were too many at this time of year, as well as table tennis pool tables and table football games.
The bar/restaurant was excellent, good food well priced and they'll do takeaway if you feel like an easy night. There’s also a small but good supermarket and a car hire shop.
The complex is about 15 minutes walk from the San Blas shopping centre. There is also a selection of restaurants along the seafront promenade below the Winter Gardens all within 10 minutes of the complex. There are 3 golf courses surrounding the property.
Not being a golfer I can't tell if they’re good or not but they look really impressive and the golfers in the bars seemed impressed. At this time of year it's mainly older people in the area, the 40 plus brigade, not so many younger ones and no rowdy’s, not that we saw anyway.
I would definitely recommend this complex to couples seeking a relaxing week away in decent accommodation in excellent surroundings.
