The facilities have been sabotaged

Having been to Killigarth in the past, it used to have great entertainments on every night followed by a disco going on into the early hours of the morning and a great venue for holidaymakers and locals. But now the large bar in the main function room has been closed and boarded up, and the ''entertainment'' is finished by 10 to 10.30 with the small bar closing as soon as possible spoiling any plans by the customers to stay and drink on to midnight. All this will explain why the site caravans are't full even in the high season. I love the Polperro area and will return but will be seeking my entertainment in the very friendly pubs in Polperro and save arround 50 pence on a pint compared to Killigarth Manor prices.

killigarth manor must be the best holiday park in britain, nothing to much trouble, great entertainment, brill foxxy club with freddy, and the park itself, whatever you for an holiday here it's worth every penny, have been twice in two years at the end of september, and everything is still going on at the park, where some parks are running down for the end of season, but not this everything is still going,so don't think about going to killigarth manor just book and go!

stayed st kilgarth manor near looe booked with the sun holidays october 2007
this must be the cleanest park in britain
the caravan was spotless, I am a cleaning freak and could not find a dirty item in there.
staff at reception were really helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble
the park itself was clean and tidy nice takeaway and well stocked mini market
the only downside was the park was couple of miles away from the village of looe which ment you had to use the car to get there. I would defenatly use this park again highly recommended
well done john fowler staff, its a pity a lot of other british parks couldnt follow your high standards.
thanks for a lovely holiday

Whilst visibly it may have appeared to be something out of the good old days of the 'British summer holiday', this was in fact a very pleasant holiday park that provided an ideal location to explore the Cornwall coast.
Situated just 1 mile up the road from the beautiful fishing village of Polperro, and only 3.5 miles from the picturesque Looe harbour, this holiday park comprised of accommodation in the manor itself, in a fixed caravan, whether it be for 4,6 or even 8 people, or for the more adventurous of you, tent and tourer pitches. On site there were all the amenities you could want- 24 hr security, heated indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, kids play area, 2 bars, food quarter for take away and sitting in, on site shop- it was spot on.
Whilst a car is required for most journeys, for those walkers amongst us there are a number of good walks close by along the cliff front. The holiday park itself is clearly signposted from miles around so no chance of getting lost!
All in all, a wonderfully located holiday base, with opportunities for those that want the quiet life, as well as those that wish for a bit of entertainment from the on-site entertainers.
