We stayed in a junior suite, which was spotlessly clean & jacuzzi on balcony, but the noise from the building site across the road was terrible (it was also our view). The staff are amazingly helpful and polite, the health & beauty spa provides one of the best massages that either myself or my husband have ever had. Food was good & changed every night although it was pretty bland (but it does have to cater for a mainly elderly visitor). The only downside was the other british tourists. This hotel is mainly all inclusive and the british seem to go mad on the alcohol when on holiday (my husband and I are teetotal)My husband made the observation that the typical tourists at the hotel were either SAGA or Working Mens Club. We would love to stay at this hotel again if it changed its clientel - however as that is unlikely we will probably go to either Aphrodite hills or similar (although we appreciate it will cost a lot more)Also bed was very very firm!!! So much so it made you sore.

We're just back from 10 days at the Atlantica Bay Hotel, Limassol and it was fantastic. The Atlantica Bay is definately the best hotel we have ever stayed in and the high standards the hotel sets are as good as any of the Thomson's Cruise ships. We'd been there 2 years ago and really enjoyed it and thought things might have changed. Wrong! The food, the service and the entertainment was even better. The food is just too good and the buffet selection is brilliant, the soups are amazing, the Pasta Carbonara is to die for and the Cypriot dishes is superb. They do a good range of British dishes and chips for the less adventurous. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and the entertainment team work really hard all day to keep everybody happy with a good selection of games and quizzes during the day and wall to wall entertainment at night from 8.30 to midnight. All the entertainers were of a really high quality and they varied from night to night especialy flown in from the UK. The resident duo, Simple Life are great and Debbie worked really hard to keep everybody entertained with her game shows. And because it was all outdoors there was never any problem getting a seat. Never a problem getting a sun lounger either. The hotel has landscaped grounds with one large pool and one smaller and it's own beach across the road (don't worry there's an underpass) with masses of loungers there too. As far as we were concerned, the hotel is perfect. The location isn't ideal, no restaurants or shops nearby but with a package that Atlantica Bay provides who cares. We will definately go back.
- Activities: Famagusta and Salamis(North Cyprus) are worth seeing but the Troodos Mountains were disappointing.

We have just returned from our fifth visit to this wonderful hotel.I cannot believe why there are 1 or 2 in the minority who did not like this hotel. The staff are so friendly particularly Dean,Maria (PR manager),Martins and Sabina.Food is delicious and varied, catering for all tastes and our room was always kept clean with sheets changed every 2/3 days and towels daily.Entertainment was the best ever with the 2009 Show as well as Operatunity and the lovely singing voice of Debbie from Entertainment team.Jamie was a "hoot" and certainly added to our enjoyment and the resident group Simple Life were also very entertaining.Gala Dinner is a must where the food is even more delicious and you feel really special.
I cannot fault this hotel in any way and would urge any adults whether young or old to try this hotel. We`ll be back in 2010!

I booked my holiday at the Atlantica Bay Hotel with a view to relaxing with my wife for one week. Prior to the holiday I had read a couple of bad reviews and was very nervous. However, the hotel is of a good four star standard, similar to Marriott chain hotels. The room was well designed with a good bathroom, lots of hot water and toiletries, effective air conditioning, fridge, wardrobes/hangers/mirrors/UK plug sockets, hair drier, tea and coffee and Sky TV! The reception, bar lounge are very posh and the hotel shop has everything that one needs (including UK cigarettes at £30 for a 200 pack!). The staff are exceptionally friendly and their service is far better than anything that I have ever seen - I never finished a drink without being asked if I wanted a fresh one! The staff I must say are also extremely professional and take great pride in working for the hotel - this was a pleasure and took me by surprise. We booked all inclusive as the drinks are expensive - but this is the case all over Cyprus. The food was excellent and plentiful and what was good is that the waiters sat you within seconds to your tables and took your bevarage orders at both lunch and dinner. The entertainment was variable, but not over the top during the day. I would say that the night time entertainment was good for five out of seven days. The hotel beach area is not of caribbean standard, but we walked about a mile to a much better beach on a couple of the days. I would recommend this hotel for 35+ year olds looking to relax with a bit of luxury. The main resort is a couple of miles away, which was good for us, as Limassol is a bit tacky and more for youngsters!

Went to this hotel for our honeymoon. Disapointed with the location as its pretty much in the middle of no where and the cost of taxis is unreal. Saying that the food was of a very high quality as where the staff. My biggest problem was the night time entertainment, it was very poor and its not like you can go anywhere else, although there are some bars further along the road its not ideal having to walk along a rocky path along a main road.
- Advice: Make sure you find where in Limmasol your hotel is if you dont want to pay big taxi fares.

This was my first visit to Cyprus and i was not disapointed. After some rain the weather was glorious, however, as it was out of season the beach club was closed and that area looked very uncared for. I assume they tidy it up ready for May time.
The hotel is out in the sticks but there is a very regular bus service with stops right outside the hotel that will take you to the tourist area or old town of Limassol. it costs 1 euro 50 for whereever you get on or off.
We went to the old town, never really found any shops but saw Debenhams on our bus trip back, due to the poor exchange rate, it is not cheap there anyway.
The two reps Carl and Laura, who were only there for a few weeks, worked hard to entertain us, i succeeded (well sort of) in my mission to procure a thomson gold neck pillow. It was cheesy entertainment but it kept me occupied and you get friendly with other holiday makers.
The big pool is freezing here in Winter, i only went in for a dare. There is a snmaller lap pool which is 'heated'. This does not mean it is warm, it just means it is not as cold as he big pool. It was ok once you were in.
I would reccomend booking AI at the moment because of the exchange rate. The cocktail prices were 6 euro, and a local pint was 4. At the moment it is cheaper to book AI before you go, again because of our poor exchange rate.
The hotel is small and friendly. The gardens are immaculate and the terrace from the bar is lovely, with great views of the sea.
We had a standard room with goodsize twin beds and decent pillows. Bedding was changed very regularly and the room was kept spotless.
For those that love to watch TV in their room (some people do!) there are a few English speaking channels.
If you are AI you also get tea and coffee making facilities in your room.
The food is good, my waistline pays testament to that. It is also varied with good choice each day. Again if you are AI you can also get the rolls available in the lobby bar, i found this out on our last day, if you donot want to go for a big lunch.
The bar staff are attentive and very friendly, we had no difficulty whatsoever in getting served ever.
I will return to this hotel and would reccomend it to those who want peace and quiet in lovely surroundings.

Just come back from short break to Limassol, the Atlantica Bay Hotel, very friendly staff, good food different everyday, even the salads are different, l've been to some hotels where salad has been just the usual things but here was great, entertainment reps Carl and Laura worked exceptionally hard great entertainers, the only downful for the hotel is where it is situated, no bars around and if you like shopping like l do well there are none!! Limassol a bus ride 1 euro 70 at the most or 10 Euros by taxi, but the shops there are very disappointing, did not find anything worth buying!! This was our first time in Cyprus l do not intend going back, though the hotel is fab, though you do need to go fully inclusive. My husband booked a restaurant called "Tiffany" as a surprise for me as it was our 30th Wedding Anniversary, lovely restaurant, good food, excellent hostess there worth a visit, he also ordered me some flowers which they put on table 6 red roses which I really thought was special. Don't expect any sand on the beach here either was very disappointed!!

We had a week’s holiday at the Atlantica Bay Hotel, and it was fantastic. The food was great, as was the staff and hotel. The only disadvantage was we had to come home. This was the best hotel we have stayed in for a long time. I would strongly recommend this hotel for a great adult holiday. The entertainment was great until midnight every night. On the Tuesday night there was a banquet night, and the hotel staff pulled out all stops. The food and service was exceptionally, every seat had a balloon attached, which guest was invited to release and make a wish at the same time, the sight was exceptional and one I will remember for a long time to come. Every detail was catered for and service was second to none.

I am currently living in Cyprus and my parents came out to see us and use it has a holiday for them. They stayed at the hotel for a week and loved every bit of it. My mum booked me and my husband into the hotel for a weekend and we had a great time. Although we were probabaly the youngest couple at the hotel we felt comfortable and it was nice to just sit round the pool or go down to the beach and relax. We paid for the drinks package and it was the best thing we did. although the drinks are not that much over priced you soon spend money and the drinks package is well worth the money. the staff were fantastic and made the weekend for us. The pool area is georgous and really relaxed. the staff are always walking around if you need drinks so you dont even need to get off your lounger all day.
the rooms are very nice, even though i wanted to stay in the rooms with a hot tub on the balcony, but suppose i couldnt have everything.
food was amazing and a great variety. I would definatly recommed this hotel if you just want to sit back and relax !!
only thing that knocked it down for me was the entertainement - not very impressive although some of the older guests seem to be enjoying this, me and my husband found it cheesy and old fashioned.

Just arrived home after a really great holiday. It was our first time in Cyprus and we were bowled over by the friendly staff, proffesional management, and overall cleanliness of this great Hotel. We upgraded to the drinks package and found it worth the money. I would recommend this lovely hotel to all adults , you can join in the many activities, go on a variety of outings or just relax by the pools. A very good bus service outside the hotel to Limassol means you are not forced to get a car. I hope that we will be able to return one day inn the not too distant future.

Arrived late at hotel, but staff at desk /arrivals very helpful, were shown where to go for much needed drink and something to eat, room excellent, clean etc.Food was great-and a good choice -wife had a great time choosing from many different salads etc.Great staff in dining room and all through the hotel, nothing to much trouble made us feel really welcome. We took my daughter and boyfriend who had a great time especially at Geogieos bar just out of hotel (turn left at top of road 300 hundred yards on left on side of road).GREAT holiday try it if you want a good time at a really good place to stay!Only prob is with taxis-agree a price b4 you go anywhere-the guys opposite the hotel change their prices to suit the weather or how the euro goes. All in all a great couple of weeks.Went 2009 going back june 2011 anything changed much?
