My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our way to and from Australia. I cannot rate it highly enough.
We upgraded our room to a 'club' room for a mere £30 per night. For this we had all you can eat breakfast, snacks and drinks from 5.30pm till 7.30pm; juices, tea and coffee all day in the club lounge bar and free internet access.
The staff were very courteous and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily, with sheets and towel changes. The beds were also turned back each evening.
I would definitely return to this hotel on our next trip 'Down Under'.

Been to this lovely hotel twice, on short 3-day business trips.
It is luxurious but can also be quite inexpensive on a Room Only basis. Rooms are huge, ours having a kingsize bed and marble bathroom with robes and slippers provided. Meals can then be purchased if/as required.
We have stayed on floors 10 and 13 to take advantage of the views; higher than that rooms are more expensive/luxurious. I cannot comment on the food, never having eaten there, but there are thousands of very good and very busy eateries and coffee shops in the vicinity and in the Orchard Road malls. which are only a few mins walk away.
The rating would have been higher had internet facilities been free. It also does not grade the hotel food at all but I hope anyone thinking of staying here will be reassured of its comforts, friendliness of staff, superb location and very good value for money.

When we arrived we couldn't believe it! We had never stayed in such a great 4* Hotel before! The marble lobby with stunning water feature gave off the impression of luxury immediately. On reaching our room, we couldn't stop grinning.
It was modern and contemporary (I can’t stand flowers!) a big bed, a view of the pool, crisp white linen, dressing gowns, slippers, and a TV speaker in the bathroom! Very nice! It is a big hotel with 3 restaurants, a bar, gym, spa etc etc. The pool is lovely with a cascading water feature over the edge of the four stories.
We didn't eat at the restaurants, apart from breakfast, as we prefer to explore but they all looked very posh! The breakfast however, was fantastic. It was buffet style and featured breakfasts from all over the world! Pancakes and pastries to sausage and eggs to fruit to noodles to all sorts of strange concoctions!
The whole place was very clean and has excellent air conditioning! The hotel's situ is fairly good. It is a 5 minute walk to the other end of Orchard Road (the main shopping road) The hotel is attached to a mall but we didn’t venture in there. It's about a 10-15 min walk to the nearest MRT and 5 mins to the nearest bus stop.
Bars and Restaurants are nearby. (Don't go after 10 though because they're all shut!) All in all we had a fab time. If you're used to living in luxury then this probably isn't luxury enough for you but anyone who wants their own little haven for a 1 off treat it's great!

Traders Hotel is a really great hotel for families, couples or people on business. It is very clean and modern with lovely rooms and staff are very professional and friendly.
Breakfast wasn't included in our deal, but you could purchase it separately, it had a mixture of oriental and western food but was quite expensive.
There is a nice bar where you can get sandwiches and snacks which are reasonably priced. Best thing about the hotel is the location, it is easy walking distance to main attractions in Orchard Road.
