Cheyenne Hotel Cheyenne Hotel Studios Reviews Cheyenne Hotel Studios Reviews

Like a scene from the wild west the Hotel Cheyenne is a colorful interpretation of a western town. Set on the bank of the Rio Grande River opposite the Hotel Santa Fe, The Cheyenne is contained in 14 two story buildings which are arranged along two main streets and two squares. All have the buildings have a colorful facade many which depict the different buildings you would expect to find in a wild west town such as the Jail, Bank or Boarding House Whilst others take their names from western legends such as Billy The Kid or Annie Oakley.

We stayed at this hotel as we booked just one week before we left and Sequoia Lodge was fully booked.

We previously stayed at the Santa Fe and really didn't want to go back there so was happy to book the Cheyenne to keep costs down!

I was really impressed with the hotel - we were checked in very quickly and given our room key, despite the website saying it wouldn't be available until after 3pm (we checked in at midday).

The hotel grounds had a really good feel and were very spacious. Pony rides were avilable for the children in the mornings for about 5 euros and bike-type things were available to hire in the evenings for 8 euros which looked quite fun as there was lots of space to ride them in. Benches etc were arranged in the main square outside for the adults to have a cup of tea/beer whilst the children could run around and wear themselves out a bit more!

Room was pretty basic but clean. The room had bunk beds and a double bed as well as a TV with the Disney channel and World News in English. A travel cot was provided within 10 mins of us arriving in our room, along with clean bedding for it.

Breakfast in the morning was fine, albeit busy! A selection of fruit, rolls, pastries, cereal etc. We ate in the bar as it was far less crowded and cheekily made ham rolls to take with us into the park (as well as a few pain au chocolat!).

We walked to the park a couple of times which took about 10 minutes along the main road (route that the bus takes). When taking the bus, it was nowhere near as crowded as the one at the Santa Fe which was fantastic!

Would really recommend this hotel to anyone and would happily return here!

Certainly a 2 * hotal and a bit tired but great place to stay for a short visit to Disneyland Paris. Shuttle bus to park every 10 mins but also just a very pleasant 15 min walk beside the river. Reception staff very pleasant and check-in easy. Check-in before you unload your car - we took our bags with us and then had to revert and drive to a different car park. Accomodation is spread across a number of separate two storey Western themed buildings. Well done and created good atomosphere. Rooms pretty basic - we took our own tea making facilities etc! - but clean. Breakfast very continental but go early. We found that before 7.30am was pretty civilised but any later an unpleasant scrum.

We took advantage of going in to the Park at 8.00 (comes with staying at a Disney hotel) to have 2 hours before it opens to the general public. Big disappointment. Large areas not open and many rides not operating. Very frustrating and not 'Disney Magic'!!! Everything expensive - maybe the exchange rate but 2.50 euros for a 50cl bottle of coke etc etc

Stayed here for 4 nights in november as part of college trip for Cusotmer Service & Buisness. Ive been to Disneyland Paris before and stayed at a couple of the higher rated disney hotels but for the time we spent here i found it very good. Rooms where clean and comfortable, breakfast is what you would expect its just a normall french breakfast. Good loaction to parks and village only about a 10min walk and youre right in the heart of the action. My one only complaint would be the Disney Police at night could provide some problems over nothing and overeact, for example my friend was wearing an Itlay football shirt and the local police took massive offense to this becuase of the world cup final a couple of years ago. Also previously been in august and found the bars and club very good and bouncers pleasant but becuase it was student week i found them very rude, agressive and unhelpful. Overall i would stay again!!!

Spent 4 nights at this hotel after staying at the Dream Castle on a previous visit.

Smooth check in but to be presented with the timed breakfast tickets at this point was a little daunting as we didn't have a clue what time we would want breakfast each day !

The room was compact and very basic, no hair dryer and the safety deposit box at reception. A fridge would have been nice too ! The kids liked the bunk beds.

We were in the 3rd block away from reception so had to walk in the rain one morning.

Breakfast was OK and as you'd expect with rolls, cheese and ham you could make up lunch with. I would NOT recommend sending kids under 12 to get their food though unless you want them crushed !

We had dinner there one night which again was a good selection of tex-mex and wok dishes and some lovely puddings.

There is a lively outdoors atmosphere in the evenings with tables outside the bar, 4 wheel family bikes to hire and a rodeo bull to try if you're brave/stupid !

Benefits of staying in a Disney hotel are the regular character visits and the extra early/late hours (depending on time of year). Oh and you can get your park shop purchases delivered to the hotel.

All in all not too bad but I dread to think what the cheaper Santa Fe is like !

I have to admit that i love disneyland paris. For couples, children, elderly.

I go to paris often as flordia is a lot more expensive. Many people do think paris is quite pricey but i would happily spend more then what i do to go there. I find booking it independtly works out a lot cheaper. Between june-sept its very busy and would advice not to go then or half terms as you can que for up to 3 hours for some rides. If you stay in oen of the disney hotel's you do get the benefit of going to the disneyland park earlier then if you stay anywhere eles but what they do not tell you is that you can only enter fantasyland not the others which is not a problem because that is the busiest place due to all the childrens rides. i would advise any to go there in the morning.

Resturants are nice about £20 per head and cheaper for children. Lunch times just offer junk food. But its a holiday haha. The cheyanne where i stayed had lovely food. That is the best hotel in my view as the others can be very expensive except sante fe but i do not like the hotel as it is not very interesting.

if you are wanting to see the characters look for the times and be there at least 15 mins early as the que gets very big.

If your child wants to dress up i would advice you to get costumes from your local disney shop as they are more expensive.

Have a brilliant time in disneyland paris you will not regret it.

Just got back from the Cheyenne last week after a 5 day break with the family, what a fantastic time we had! the hotel was brilliant. You have to remember that it is only a 2 star hotel but i have to admit that it was an excellent standard not at all what i expected (especially after reading some of the reviews). Rooms were cleaned daily, fresh towels every day, the breakfast was a bit hit and miss especially with the amount of tourists to cater for! I found MOST of the staff were friendly and always willing to help, they were great with the kids! Not that much in the way of entertainment but we went to Disney to explore Disney and not the hotel. All in all i would say for value its a great hotel and you get what you pay for, plenty of Disney characters around for the kids too. We would use this hotel again!!! EXCELLENT

Well just to sum up the hotel:

Breakfast - 1/10

The breakfast was dreadful very basic food looked like it was ready to be thrown away.

Accommodation - 2/10

Apart from us finding cockroaches in our bathroom the accommodation was fine comfy beds, decent sized t.v basiclly everything you need.

Dinner (food) - 8/10

The food is absoulouty gorgeous deffiently recommended.

Dinner (service) 1/10

Apart from not seing any staff around apart from at the tills when i was getting some food i was getting shouted out by a chief from picking up a piece of pizza with my hands (fair enough use the utensils) but this was a serious matter the chief took this very far and started to call me an "idiot" "disgusting" then throws the utensils at me while starring down on me like i am a piece of scum. Properly the worst service i have ever recived the last thing you want to get after paying good money for a meal, been out all day and very tired is to be getting shouted at and made a fool of by a chief.

Basiclly all i could write up from the top of my head.

I hope this has helpd to answered any un-certain qustions people may have.

IT WAS AMAZING. I went with the school for a maths trip and I had the most fantastic time ever, we got to school at half 4 in the morning and then got the coach down to the euro tunnel. We got on that without a problem and drove down to Disneyland we got there at about 4pm. It was a VERY long journey and I wouldn't recommend it if you don't like travelling.

When we got to the hotel we got our keycards and park passes and went to our room and put our things away. After we settled in we went off to the park which was about 5pm, we walked around looking in the shops which were expensive but had some very nice things in. We had to go to one of the maths lectures which really weren't very good and took up an hour of your free time which you could of spent going round the park. We went back to the hotel at 10pm, the rooms were very nice they were clean and warm and the beds were comfy.

The next day we went down to breakfast at 8am, they had a wide range of food and tea, coffee, hot chocolate and orange juice. At 10am we went down to the park, it started to rain which was a let down but we still had a great time. We then had to go to another lecture but then we could go to the park after that. Not many of the characters were out but Mickey and Minnie were. There was a train with some of the characters on that came around it had Goofy, Stitch, the Chipmunks, the Genie and a few others.

Later that day the parade came and it was the most fantastic thing I have seen there. It was amazing the characters were walking around going up to people and there were floats with all the others characters on, there was music playing and everyone was having a good time.

The next day we had breakfast at 8am again and then set of to the park. Sadly we could only stay there for a few hours because we were leaving that day but we didn't have to go to the lecture this time because it was our last day. The French staff were trying to make us go but we were trying to tell them our teachers said we didn't but they wouldn't take any of it and were making us follow them to the lecture they were very ignorant then. After we got away without going to the lecture we went on some of the rides and then we saw Winnie the Pooh so we followed him into the place to take pictures. We got a picture from him and walked on a bit when we saw a lot of the characters so we took a picture with the Chipmunks and Mickey Mouse.

After that we had to go, so we were walking back to the hotel when we saw all the characters but we couldn't stop to take pictures or meet them which was a real let down.

Overall we had a brilliant time and I would certainly go again as soon as I can. The hotel was excellent, some of the French people were nice but others were very ignorant and didn't try helping at all and just stood there looking at you.

It brought a lot of the people from school together and people that didn't normally get along were getting along really well, it was a great way to get to know people and talk to them more than you normally could.

There was a wide range of rides and places to go for all sorts of ages and the park and hotel accommodated to them.

First time visiting Disneyland Paris and had a fantastic time. Hotel was very good; clean rooms, linen and bathroom also clean. Rooms were clean daily with clean towels etc provided every time you came back from the park. Tried the restaurant, not too bad as it was all you can eat buffet style. Got abit fed up of the food as it’s the same food every night but food was of a good standard and well worth a try.

Staff was very helpful as we forgot our travel adapter so went to reception and loaned one for a small deposit which was refunded on departure.

Our 2 year old boy was well entertained with the play area and horse rides which were charged at a small fee (off top of my head think it was 2 euros a ride).

Disney characters were outside hotel almost every morning which our boy loved, had to queue for a short time to get photo taken with the character.

Shuttle bus came about every 10 mins which was good as it was quite busy but not a long wait for next bus if not enough room on first one. But if weather is ok not too far of a walk along the well maintained riverside to Disney village/parks (approx 10 min walk).

Overall would recommend this hotel as its value for money, clean, tidy and staff was excellent, always polite and well mannered.

Overall excellent holiday had by all

Travelled by Eurostar from Ashford which was quick and easy for us and our 4 year old daughter.

Arrived on time then had the joy of the worst laid out station. The check in was on the top floor so you have to struggle up the stairs etc with bags, pushchairs oh the fun.

Once checked in the bags were taken to the hotel Cheyenne which was very useful, allowing us to go straight to the parks. The main park was good for my 4 year old plenty to do if you don’t mind queuing in the cold.

The only problem we had was a lack of Disney staff, when the main parade finished there was a massive crush to leave it was very frightening for a 4 year old, with people falling over her pushchair and no staff directing the people it was like every man for himself.

We were there 5 days over the new year period I would advise 3 days tops, its just too cold for young children and not enough to do for 5 days.

Its also very very expensive £6 for a beer ,the food is also very hit and miss ,planet Hollywood, Annette’s diner and the steakhouse were ok but expensive.

The hotel Cheyenne was basic but good enough and easy to walk back to from Disney village.

The main problem we had was a total lack of service, I know its France but the staff (when you could find some) seemed to go out of their way to be difficult and not at all helpful.

Compared to Florida Disney it was such a shock.

I would say save up and go to the real Disney’s in the USA.

The hotel staff were pleasant and friendly and the majority were happy to speak English. The room was very small with the only bed being a small double bed, but as it was just me and my daughter (age 2) it was ok. It was clean, warm, and comfortable.

We had breakfast at 8am, which meant there was no queue to meet Mickey outside the hotel and only a short queue to meet goofy, which was great. You can buy the pictures from the shop on the hotel site.

The breakfast was absolutely disgusting!!! Tinned fruit salad, dry croissants, white bread rolls, plastic cheese, and pink salami, a small selection of cereals and horrible coffee! Give it a miss and get something at the Disney village on the way to the park.

We had lunch in the Cinderella restaurant in Fantasyland, which was amazing! It cost 75 Euros for me and my daughter and was well worth it. Two giant mice-Suzy and Perla-walk around meeting the kids, and every half hour or so the three princesses (snow white, Cinderella and sleeping beauty) come out and dance with their princes then meet the children and do photos and autographs. You don't get that time with the characters anywhere else. A must if you have a little princess!

Overall we had a lovely stay and will return in the next few years.

Some reviews seem to be quiet sceptical about this hotel but I thought it was great.

We went for my daughter’s birthday for a 3 night midweek break and had a great time.

This hotel is one of the cheapest Disneyland Paris hotels but it still had many excellent facilities. We saw it as a cheap get away, so the cheap hotel was a bonus and it still has all the Disney magic.

You spend that little time in the hotel that it seemed pointless spending more money when the only advantages would have been being closer to the park.

The walk from Cheyenne was a very nice stroll along the side of a little river so was very pretty. There are also buses to take you to the entrance every minute or so, they are very efficient.

The hotel itself was very comfortable. The room had a double bed and bunk beds, so people with 2 young children may want to consider this as I think they have to be over 5 to sleep in the top bunk. The rooms match the hotel and have a cowboy theme about them. They have interconnecting rooms available which would be an advantage to large family groups etc.

The food was basic but great value compared to the rest of the park really. The breakfast was included and had a good variety of choice. The restaurant for the dinner was great value cook out style food. It is a self service which again may not appeal to everyone but cheap! Steak, ribs, jacket potatoes etc, with a kids menu as well.

The park is great fun. Although not as big as Disney world Florida (understandably!) there is still a wide variety of rides and attractions to suit all ages. I would recommend this park to families with younger children because it isn't as far to travel and the days aren't as long as in the American theme parks. There are the usual parades and character meetings.

Overall a great cheap break, especially look out for offers of free kids and free nights stay.

We went to Euro Disney for our 3rd visit and decided to stay at the Hotel Cheyenne. Previously we have visited the Santa Fe Apartments and also the Main Disney Hotel.

Hotel Cheyenne is the 2nd cheapest hotel to choose from when you decide to stay in a Disney hotel (which I would recommend). We were a bit unsure of what to expect but I can say we are already booking our next trip to which we are going back to hotel Cheyenne!

It’s a short walk, 5 minutes from Disney village and probably just over 10mins from the Disney Park. The food on offer is absolutely gorgeous and it never felt like we were being offered the same foods. It was buffet style menu which was great as we had lots of fussy eaters!

The rooms were great, very clean, and big enough for what we needed with two young children. The bar in the evening was very inviting and the children are free to play in the play areas and do as they please.

If you are planning a trip to Euro Disney, check out the Hotel Cheyenne. Though the main Disney Hotel was great for the kids because there were always characters lurking behind them, the seating areas and bar were not relaxing and you felt you had to keep any eye on the children and make sure they weren’t too noisy.

Hotel Cheyenne is all about the children and if they want to run about and laugh, the staff were only too pleased to join in!

A great holiday and we are looking forward to returning in the New Year!

What a great 5 days. We drove to Ashford and parked the car, no trouble. Getting your Eurostar vouchers was a little chaotic but we managed. Eurostar left the station at 9.46 precisely and we settled down for our 2 hour journey. There’s not much to do on the train but the atmosphere was good and all the kids were excited. We arrived at Paris about lunch time, got the free shuttle to the Hotel Cheyenne, dropped off the cases and off we went.

Now the Hotel Cheyenne is pretty basic. The staff at reception spoke very good English and were friendly and helpful. In our room there was a double bed and a bunk bed for my two children. There’s a TV that has a limited amount of channels and an extremely good heater. The maids came in daily and on the whole it is clean and tidy. You don’t plan to spend your days in your hotel room anyway. We had arranged previously to have breakfast in the parks at no extra cost, which I would recommend. We did stay for breakfast at the Cheyenne on the day we were leaving and it was a bit like school dinners and not a patch on the parks breakfast.

The walk to the parks was only about 10 minutes along a river. We did walk most of the time, but there was a free shuttle that took you there every 15 minutes, though these were really busy and although it’s not in our nature to push and shove, you just had to otherwise you would be in the queue forever.

We went during the October half term. The weather was bright and sunny, but so so cold. Take plenty of jumpers and pack your hats and gloves. You’ll need them.

The parks were great. We expected crowds and we got them. But the queues soon went down, and we fast tracked a lot, which saved time. If you have breakfast in the parks, you can be first in line to get in so take advantage and head straight to the most popular rides but be prepared to queue for everything, even a coffee.

The parades were great but get a space early so you can see it all. Also get autograph books for the kids. The characters are more than happy to sign them and pose for photographs. In fact, go one better and book a character breakfast. This was brilliant and I think I was more excited than my 5 and 8 year old. The characters come over to your table, interact with the kids and basically come to life. I loved it.

If you want to have dinner out, dine early. We tried the Rainforest Café and Planet Hollywood. You can’t book tables, so we made our way there at about 5 o’clock to avoid the rush and this seemed to work well. Also go to Annette’s Diner. The food was good and the staff sang and danced to Grease songs.

Our 5 days was plenty. We didn’t have to rush about and had time to go on everything, at least once. We saw all the shows and parades, which were great. By day 5 we were ready to come home and recover.

My tips are to take plenty of warm clothing and comfy shoes. Dine with the characters. Get breakfast tickets either before you go or at your hotel so you can eat at the parks and be prepared to queue. Have a wonderful time.

This is a cowboy themed hotel with everything in the same style. The rooms are a good size and with good facilities. The breakfast is average and very busy so get there early!

To gain access to your bedroom you must go outside and walk down the cowboy themed street, which may be inconvenient for people with a large amount of baggage or if the weather takes a turn for the worst.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
