My husband and I stayed at the Aguamar in dec 2005. When we first arrived we liked the room but when we went to sit on the balcony all we could see were tall shrubs. We knew that we overlooking the pool but could not see it. (this was ground floor room119). we went to the reception desk and there was no problem. We were able to change room to a higher floor and better position straight away.
The apartments were very good. The kitchen very well equipped with microwave and kettle etc. The bathroom was supplied with soap, shower gel etc so need to pack those in your suitcase. Maid service was very good and all the public area's were spotless. The location was quite good but a bit of a walk to the central area of Los Christianos. Nearby to the apartments there are a lot of bars, restaurants and supermarkets.
If you go to the right as you are standing outside the apartments there is a Netto and quite a few mainly English bars where you can get a good breakfast and other good food served during the day and evening. If you walk straight down the street and turn left at the bottom there is a very good Chinese and a couple of really nice restaurants the best one being the Margui. We didn’t eat in the restaurant at the apartments so can not comment on this.
At the poolside there a quite a few changing rooms and shower area and these can be used free of charge on the day of your departure if you have a late flight and have to vacate your room at 12. There was no entertainment in the evening but it was the week before Christmas when we left.! One nice thing was that on the 5th floor (roof level) the is a nice quiet area with free sunloungers and a Jacuzzi.
Really peaceful and sunny. Overall I would recommend these apartments. We certainly liked them anyway.

Very clean set of apartments. Microwave, toaster, fridge, crockery, etc all provided as standard. Maid service cleaned room and changed towels every day except Saturday. No cockroaches sighted at all.
No air-conditioning so apartment was very hot at night. Opening the window was a problem due to noise from traffic and pubs across the road.
All apartments overlook the pool area, which was pleasant to look at, at night, and the balcony was cool to sit out on.
Pool area could get very crowded, so you need to get out and reserve your sun-lounger early on (9am ish) as signs warning that reserving was not allowed were ignored.
Bar menu was OK for food, but soft drink prices were high. Internet access on two PC’s and snack and water vending machines were available.
We would be more than happy to go back to these apartments again.

These apartments were basic standard apartments with no air conditioning. The bedroom was small with a window high up which we had to stand on the bed to open. We didn’t open it very often as we were situated on a very busy main road with lots of noise.
The bathroom had a small vent in the ceiling which didn’t seem to work so therefore there was no ventilation there. Maid service as very good with a change of bedding halfway through the week and clean towels nearly every day.
The lift was reliable and the whole area was kept clean and tidy. The bar, which was only a pool bar, must have closed quite early as when we arrived back each night at about 11.15 everything was in darkness, so it would probably be suitable for young families.
Behind the apartments was a building site but we didn’t see any work being carried out at all. A kettle, toaster and pay-for-view TV was supplied but no fan. In all, quite an acceptable standard but an indoor bar would have been nice.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The facilities and entertainment were very good. Local bars and restaurants were excellent . There are loads to do in Los Cristianos and a heck of a lot to go and see on the island. Hire a car and go explore this beautiful island.
This was my first trip to Tenerife and I shall certainly not make it my last. Probably my best holiday yet!

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Aguamar. Very pleased with the apartments, one down side was that there is no air conditioning and it got very hot at night. You could hire a fan but it actually worked out cheaper to buy one.
The people who served at the pool bar were rather rude. There was a building site to the rear of the apartments but I think the Spaniards were on holiday as there was no work done in the 2 weeks we were there.
The kid’s reps were fantastic with the kids although the club was more suitable for our 3 year old than our 9 year old. The clubs are grouped by age but the small ones were with the bigger ones which I didn’t think was very suitable.
We seen no cockroaches although other people in the apartment block did, we sprayed the whole balcony and round the entrance to the door every night with insecticide, which I think helped. All in all we had a great holiday.
