Stayed for two weeks at the begining of August in a one bedroomed apartment. Fully equipped for self catering, toaster, kettle, coffee machine all utensils and pans. You could loan an iron and board from reception and as there is no air conditioning they hire fans for 2.40 euros per day and a 20 euro deposit, although I went across the road to the hardware store and bought one for twenty euros. There are plenty of places nearby to eat and drink and a lot of bars have entertainment. Porkies does an excellent breakfast and the evening menu is also good.
It is a ten minute walk to the beach although there are plenty of bars along the way to stop and rest on a very hot day.The La Vista beach which was just past the harbour was a lovely beach with plenty of restaurants along the front.
The Siam water park was amazing and if you go to Jesus excursions just by the harbour on the back street by the steps he does the best prices and it avoids queueing when you get to the park. I also recommend you get a fast pass when you get into the park for 15 euros this allows you to queue jump. It gets very busy and you can be waiting for up to forty minutes to get on some of the slides.
The only complaint about the Aguamar was that there were not enough sunbeds and people were down by the pool from 9am putting there towels on the floor to mark out where they were going to put the sunbeds when they were unlocked at 10am. It was comical to watch however I must admit that to get sunbeds you had to join the masses and when in Rome and all that..... The pool also is not as big as I thought and could get very busy at times. There is a restuarant, although we never used it the prices looked reasonable and the snack bar at the pool served toasties etc and the pizza's were absolutely delicious.I would definately return to these apartments and would recommend these for families.

spent two weeks in this compex and would honestly say there was very little to complain about, at a push my only one gripe would be the old one Sunbeds !! the hotel staff had tried to resolve this problem by chaining up the beds and opening them at 10 a.m however people were lifting up to ten beds at a time, this did become annoying especially when beds were left with towels and not used for most of the day. Apart from that everthing else was fantastic enjoyed a few good nighs at the hoops bar and yelas, good location and a plesant stroll to the beach. would definatley use this accomadation again.

We went on our first family holiday here and were really suprised as the holiday didnt cost much, the appartment rooms weree very very clean, with maids in every day, they have wooden flooring that is much cleaner and safer that tiles. the recption was very friendly and helpful. the pool bar was also handy and food was nice, it was very central and easy to get to where ever you wanted to from the apartments. would definatly recommend these appartments. only flaw was they didnt have air con but you can hire a fan.. 10/10 holiday

Just arrived back from our stay at the Aguamar. The apartment was modern and really clean, an oven and grill would have been useful! The only thing that spoilt it was the fact that if you didn't get a sun bed at 10 o'clock when they were released, you couldn't get one all day, as though although the hotel information said that sunbeds couldn't be reserved they most definitely were and people seemed to feel the need to hog them all day, even when they weren't there most of the time!!! Also it was very noisy round the pool when it was supposedly shut - lots of children playing football etc.
Would maybe stay again but if you can't beat em join - em grab your sunbed at 10 and don't move your towel!!!

recently got back from 7 nights self catering from the 13th july - 21st, had a ground floor apartment which was great as it was easy access to the pools. Staff were very friendly and even helped organize our day trips, only had breakfast in the hotel twice, wasnt amazing. But PLENTLY of english bars and resturnats by the hotel that serve food. Overall it was an amazing week. I've already book another week there in september, would deffinatly recommend it.

I got back early this morning for a weeks holiday to celebrate my 18th birthday. When we got there we was greeted by the hotel manager who was very friendly and showed us to our rooms, when was room 004 on the ground floor. We spent the first day by the pool, which we loved. If you want a sun lounger you would have to wait by the pool around 9-9:30ish because there was alot of people wanting one. You could get massages in the pool hut. We went to the fishermans bar the night before my birthday, the people there are very friendly, There are quiz nights every friday aswell. when i got to 12 o'clock the whole pub sang me happy birthday and gave me a free cocktail and bottle of wine. I would also recommend going to the Angus steak house, a family run resturant. The owner was by far the nicest person we met over there and amazing food. We bought a twin ticket for Siam park and loro park which was amazing. Im not going to bore everyone too much lol but overall was amazing, the Port at night time was beautiful. The only fault was the 'looky-looky' men, couldnt take no for a answer but if you just dont look at them they dont bother coming over. Also we couldnt go past a resturant without people trying to drag us in there. Planning to go back this september.

Just got back from a 6 night stay in Aguamar and can recommend it thoroughly. Myself and 3 friends went for the self catering option but were pleasantly surprised....sorry, absolutely ecstatic to find out we were put on half board.
The food was brilliant, a lovely variety from cottage pie to steak to garlic fish to roast dinner; the staff were incredibly friendly barring one woman who worked on the reception who seemed intent on phoning the police if you so much dropped a pin after 23:00.
The rooms were spotless, all we needed and more....there's not really much more I can say other than I would definitely go again

Just returned from aguamar! me (20) my boyfriend(22) had an amazing time! the rooms and cleaned everyday except friday and sunday. the hotel is really clean staff nice! theres a few bars oppisite the hotel go to hoops bar its a laugh! round the courner theres some more bars recommend you to go to Taylors english bar the staff are so friendly. and the italin next door its goooooooorgeous! the best place i ate was Rubinas as you come out the hotel turn left and left again its about 5 doors up! you have to go to this place the steak are to die for! the harbour is bout 10 min walk away but u walk throught town to get there so theres loads of shops its a nice walk! i wish people would stop moaning about this hotel i had a great time and peoples snoby comments really scared me of what i was going to! what a brillant time i would deffo go back!!! loved it! also we went to the monkey park if u love monkeys go! its 5euros in a taxi to get there! brill!

Myself and my boyfriend have just returned from a week at the Aguamar Appartments and it was perfect for what we needed.. We booked a last minute holiday fairly cheap and were delighted with what we got for our money! The hotel was always clean, staff were friendly and helpful, pool was lovely (even though the water was a bit cold) We ate breakfast and lunch in our room but never cooked proper evenings meals as it's only a 10 minute walk from the centre of los cristianos so we'd walk down for a 3 course meal for no more than 30 euros between us each night... I recommend Little Italy or Don Antonio!! We're going back for sure, cheap cheerful and chilled!! x

Just recently I stayed in this accomodation in tenerife and well both me and my partner found the stay disappointing. Our room was very basic and considering we had decided to stay self catering wasnt well equipped for cooking. We had no freezer, which is pretty much a given thing if you are going to cook for yourself. Our room was basic, we had decided to have a room with a double bed but was actually given two single beds joined to a double sized headboard. The shower and bathroom was lovely, nice and clean and the sofa although not highly comfortable was a substantial size for the two of us. It was a bit of a hike to our room and we were on the first floor, so obviously little bit noisy but that was to be expected. The rooms were kept clean but the staff werent as I have found other hotels in spain. They werent as pleasant as I thought they would be and the rooms werent cleaned very early in the morning. Reception I didnt feel were very friendly, as they never spoke to us. As we were self catering we did feel very disjoined from the rest of the hotel. The pictures on the jet 2 site were very selective. I found it really sad that it was supposedly four star when we booked it and three star when we got there. It also aggravated me when i realised there were payments for all sorts of things. From having tv channels in your room to playing mini golf and on the pool tables. Surely we had paid for that when we booked our holiday
