Where do we start? This hotel’s got a long way to go before it can be established as suitable for families and couples as advertised on most websites. We know it’s only a 3 star hotel but get a grip and make sure you provide 3 star services. When we booked in we were... more

We feel we have to write this review for the older travellers and families. When we booked in we were given the wrong room but this did get sorted the next morning. Disappointed with the view, looked out on the passageway where the staff had their coffee/lunch breaks. Food... more

Hotel overbooked all 14 guests arriving, then were rude. It overbooked more guests later. Wasted 2 days of a 7 day holiday changing hotels. No reimbursement of any kind. Food is disgusting, repetitive and boring. Stupid bar rules. Waste of time, waste of money. And DEFINATELY not all inclusive.

I have been to Turkey many times for my annual holiday and stayed in so many hotels with my wife and three children, and some very unpleasant ones at that as it's a bit of pot luck where you end up staying by looking at the holidat brochures. When I got recommended to the... more

We have just got back from a 1 week stay here. We had read the reviews on club viva and were expecting the worst but went with an open mind of the hotel just being a place to rest our heads and to make the most of it. We were in for a shock. We were greated with a nice man... more

Great Holiday
Have just returned from a 1 week holiday at the Club Viva. We (2 adults and 2 children)stayed in a one bedroom apartment (SC). We found this hotel to be very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, pool was ideal for the children(aged 13 and 9), bar food was nice and reasonably priced. Although slightly out of the centre there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby plus a short trip on the blue bus brought you right into the town. We were not bothered at all by the 'call to prayer' from the mosque, in fact it was very picturesque... more
Best Time of our lives! Go make your reservation now!!!!!
What a great experience! This was our first proper family holiday and we are hooked. We have three small children ranging in ages from five, three and 14 months. The welcome was as warm as the weather ; which was scorching and pleasant. The staff was the best I have ever met. I've been in customer service for a very long time to know when i see genuine service. from the cleaners to management a credit to their industry. they loved the kids and made us feel like their family. Our heartfelt thanks to them all! We had a proper cot... more
Pleasant experience for an extremely cheap holiday in peak season!
We booked this holiday last minute, extremely cheap and we were pleasantly surprised! A warm welcome from the receptionist, who was accomodating and professional; a personal service, he showed us a couple of rooms and asked us to choose the one that we liked. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. The receptionist spoke very good English. The breakfasts were of an ok standard. We were never ill. The music at the pool was repetitive and loud at times. The Hotel seems far away from the centre but the bus service is... more
Worst holiday of my life!!!
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. If you want to go to a nice beach you need to catch 2 buses. The hotel staff were absolutely shocking. The waiters hassle guests doing things like throwing water on you while you're sunbathing and tried to throw my partner in the pool- not the kind of thing you want when you're trying to relax. When the wiaters come over to take empty glasses, they do not offer to get you another drink they just take the glass and leave. The drinks are watered down to the point where I'd be surprised if there's any... more
Nice Clean hotel
Stayed at the Club Viva for seven nights and i must say the hotel was kept very clean. We were given the wrong room on arrival as we were self catering and was given a hotel room, the problem was sorted the very next morning. I didn't like the way that anything that was ordered from the pool bar had to be put on your tab, as when we went to settle the bill there was items on it from before we even arrived. We spent very little time in the hotel after this and must say we found Marmaris very pleasant indeed. We eat every night at Robin Hoods... more
Not bad at all!!
My family (2 adults & 2 children aged 10 & 8) booked our holiday on the spare of the moment and after reading some of the reviews were absolutely dreading it. However upon arrival at the hotel our first impressions were good, our room was spacious and clean and a member of staff was waiting at reception to carry your luggage. We were all inclusive and the food was adequate but unfortunately quite repetitve with chicken served in some form everday for lunch and evening meal with melon for dessert. Drinks included were Pero Beer,... more
hated it
the hotel is stuck in the middle of no where the food was disgusting there were flys all over it the staff are igronante the music is offensive i was all inclusive an you cant have the drink you like the bar closes at 11pm the rooms are small not like tpitcures the shower was haning off the wall there was no mini bar you had to pay extra for that the fridge door was haning off there is nowhere to put your cases it was that bad i only stayed there the night we arrived an requested we get moved the next day it really spoiled the start to our... more
Great Holiday!
When we arrived at the hotel in the early hours we were impressed by the look of the hotel and we were happy with our room. The air conditioning is a god send as it HOT!! The resort itself is great although I think a week is long enough. Beach is great although you have to pay to use the sun lounges, but you can stay there all day and with no hassle. It does take about 20 minutes to walk to the beach but we soon found out using the local bus service was really much quicker. They stop right outside the hotel and only charge 1 Turkish... more
Waiters were pests
Overall our stay at Club Viva was pleasant. The hotel was clean and staff friendly. We have only one complaint and that was a couple of the waiters constantly pestered us to eat in the hotel, we were B & B as we enjoy trying different restaurants for our evening meal. Sometimes they pestered so much it became intimidating. I was even handed a menu for me to browse whilst I was swimming in the pool, I call that too pushy. more
hotel from hell
We arrived at the Club Hotel Viva,2 adults and 2 children, and given at family room over looking the pool, and unfortunately the local mosque (which announced its prayer times 5 times a day via 8 loud speakers, just what we needed at dawn!). On arrival at this Hotel Club Viva all looked OK, at first glance. But just how sorry we are for entering this hotel. they advertised a childrens club and there was no Children’s club, unless you want to count the play station 2, which was charged by the 15mins(£2.50), and the pool table again... more
