"Founded in 1752 and still owned and managed by the same family, the beautiful Hotel Bad Schachen was painstakingly rebuilt in 1906, faithfully embracing the Belle Epoque style. Noted for its imposing landmark tower, the hotel is idyllically situated in its own park, which leads directly to the shores of Lake Constance. Stunning views across the lake to the medieval island town of Lindau are afforded. An attractive outdoor pool on the lakefront is surrounded by pretty 1920s cabanas these were originally used as bathing tents and add further testament to the hotel's character.
