The Forest Park Hotel is family owned and run by the charming Skyrianides brothers, one of whom represented Cyprus in the downhill skiing event in the Olympic Games. All the staff at the hotel is a mine of information on the local places of interest and the best routes for walking, cycling or driving. The Forest Park hotel is located in the heart of the Troodos woodland, on the southern slope of mount Olympus, within walking distance from the village Platres and 37 kms from Limassol.

We got married in Cyprus, staying at the Annabelle. We then went on to The Forest Park for our honeymoon.



Our travel company, Amathus, was appalling (various problems) unfortunately they never responded to our letter of complaint on our return. DONT USE THEM. The Forest Park is awful. The staff (especially the owners), are awful - really rude and unfriendly. We paid to stay in for a meal one night - it was disgusting! The breakfast was also poor.



Our room was basic but clean but the pool was dirty. It was so bad that we wanted to come home early, we actually tried to swap hotels but couldn't. DONT GO!



I can recommend the Annabelle but do not recommend the Forest Park or Amathus travel. Avoid them like the plague!
