My wife and I have visited Malta a number of times and resided in hotels in various parts of the island but early 2006 bought into time share at Club Salina Wharf and found it to be fantastic.
A first class resort with cleanliness and friendliness top of the list. We spent two great weeks at the resort in November, 2006 and are returning in November this year. I would recommend time share and also Club Salina Wharf.
The food served in the Owl and ****cat restaurant on the complex is wonderful and inexpensive. There are a number of restaurants, cafes and bars in close proximity to Salina Wharf all which we found to be excellent. There are a number of good walks in the area from coastling to inland. Qawra is mainly a quiet area more suited to couples and families. Cars are cheap to hire compared to many other countries, however the local bus service on the island cannot be beaten for price and routes.
You can travel anywhere on the island for a few cents. We hope to return to Club Salina Wharf on an annual basis as we both love the island and its people.

My husband and I have been owners at Club Salina Wharf for about 12 years now and have never regretted buying into Timeshare. The Club was wonderful way back when we purchased our week and has gotten better with the years that have passed. Great value for money!
We are looking forward to going back again this year as we have not been back to Malta for about 5 years and really missed going as we absolutely love the Island.
My son and his partner have now fell in love with the Island too and we hope to take them with us next year to Club Salina Wharf as we feel the Club enhances your stay in Malta due to the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the Club in general.

We have owned an apartment for 10 years at Salina Wharf and I can honestly say, I have always enjoyed staying there. I have been about 4 times (the 5th time coming up in August) and have always loved staying there. The staff and the people of Malta are always very pleasant, the food is good and the place itself is always very clean. Before I bought my timeshare, we stayed at place called The Winston. It was noisy, the pool was so deep you could not reach the bottom, and it was filthy. Buying at Salina Wharf was in my experience the best thing I ever did.

We have owned timeshare in Salina Wharf for the past 5 years and Visit on average for 5 weeks per year, usually out of season - Feb/Mar and Oct/Nov. The staff at the resort become more like friends as they go out of their way to
There are lots of friendly eateries close to the apartments. Most of which are very competitively priced.
The Maltese are really welcoming people who do go out of their way to be helpful. They have fantastic memories for people and faces. Once seen never forgotten.
A very quiet and relaxing holiday.

My wife and I go to Salina wharf in November and April each year. Salina wharf improves each time we go.
Value for money I would say Salina wharf must be one of the tops on the island. The standard of maintenance and cleanliness is way above standard. The streets around Qawra need attention. I have been coming to Malta since 1956 things are improving all the time. What happened during the war still has it effects on Malta and as in most Med towns and cities thing happen slowly. Malta still has a lot to offer all the year round. The weather and the Malta people are the things that make Malta a must to visit.

My third time in Malta.
Wife not really that pleased with Qwara, as many tourist areas seem a bit dirty, and standards of some of the eateries were low.
However Club Salina Wharf, being mainly a timeshare accommodation block was clean itself, and the rooms were bigger and better equipped than other places I have seen / been at in Malta.
When we stayed it was mainly UK guests, with a few non UK- Italians! & Dutch .
A little walk to ‘beach’ ( rocks) front

I have been to Qawra several times over the years and it is a nice place to holiday.
Salina Wharf is situated slightly inland in the centre of a small peninsula, which makes it a few minutes walk from the sea-front of both Qawra and Bugibba.
There are a number of great restaurants nearby serving cheap but delicious food, I especially recommend Clara May on Tourist Street.
Malta is not a good location for someone who demands white sandy beaches, there are none.
But for those who like a bit of culture, hot weather, warm seas, and plenty to do, Malta is a good choice.
My only concerns about it are the fact that it has become slightly more touristy over the years and I hope it doesn’t begin to lose its identity.
